I only played through a little bit of Astro Boy: OF, but it is really good. I'll get around to finishing it whenever I get around to it(Gotta finish MMZ 1+2, Tales of Destiny 1+2, AND Superstar Saga)

...Speaking of Megaman Zero, that shit is unforgiving. I got stuck at Neo Arcadia with no continues, and I couldn't make my way back to that base(the one with the big ass pitfall) to get some more. I had to restart my game.

...But it's really fun to play and challenging to boot. Good Job Capcom.

I've seen people at the Gamefaqs board claiming much higher powerlevels...but ya never know with those people. (*a LOT of bragging at pretty much any gamefaqs board is difficult to believe...)

The only ranking I got that was even close to the 20million was 13+ million with either Frieza again or SuperBuu.

Mega Man Zero was very hard for me at first. But once you get some good cyber elves and extra lives, the game isn't so hard but it can still be challenging. http://www.planet-megaman.com
helped me get through that game a great deal. I suggest going there and using their guides on the game. I don't think they have one up for MMZ2 yet. I still haven't opened my copy of MMZ2 yet, either. Gotta get around to that.

I hear ya on the Gamefaqs.com bragging. A lot of crap goes down over there so I wouldn't doubt if many of them were fibbing.

On a side note, I LOVE the 2D sprites of DBZ: SW!:D And those mode 7 scrolling effects own! reminds me of the good old SNES days. Ah, nostaliga.

The cyber elves do only work once but you can collect a ton of them. I recommend finding some recover type cyber elves or those that give you cover fire in battle. Some cyber elves need raising in order to be used properly.

I beat Mega Man 1 on MMAC without using any continues. Of course I died a few times but by the end of the game I had a score of 1183400.:D

Phantasy Star Online - Chojin Wayward Path-
Another evening at the Ultimate Ruins...4 Delsabre's leap thru the darkness, and The Chojin was caught off guard. They slashed wildly thru the air like demonic animals. However, this lack of precision and polished fighting style was nothing the Chojin couldn't handle. Low-level hunters would provide more of an interesting fight. With an Ice Staff+9, a blast of Rabarta froze 2 of them on the spot. Simple Barta shots took care of the rest. It was easy to lure the survivors into a line, so they could eat a few Barta spells as well. Still, this would not be the end...

Gran Sorceror and Dark Bringer suddenly appear from nothing. This was infinitely more interesting, as that kind of alliance could potentially be a problem. A small army of Dimenians appeared, and now we had a show. Dark Bringer charged thru, and knocked Chojin right on his back. There was slight confusion, but a Sol Atomizer quickly solved that problem. Bringer's hit actually saved Chojin from G.Sorceror's Grants attack. Bringer began swinging that large sword-arm, which still did some damage despite a Jellen spell from earlier. Sorceror was oddly gone for quite awhile...

Finally, Bringer went for his ultimate attack-- the Dark Shot. The Chojin had come a long way in power, but even he knew not to take this situation lightly. Bringer's Dark Shot could still outright kill him most of the time. Mystical light emanated from the floor as usual, as Dark Bringer gathered powerful magic energy....Chojin sidestepped the arm, and froze him with Rabarta. Another round of Barta, and the Dark Bringer was finished. The Dimenians tried a smothering tactic, but they were too weak, and taken down by a sudden Rafoie blast. The Gran Sorceror was all that remained now, as the Chojin stepped forward from the magical fire. The right crystal was taken out first, after regenerating from earlier...the Chojin then took out the Holy Ray. Moments later, the Gran Sorceror was slain with piercing beams of divine light. This battle had been much more satisfying than the recent outings...and once again...the Chojin stood alone admidst the fading bodies of failed demons. He was now one step closer to Aura field...level 149 had been realized. It would soon be time to set the initial stages of his Final Plan into motion.

Its early in the AM Tuesday morning and I'm playing DBZ: SW. Oh, man! LV1 Goku rocks! He's got Kao Ken and the SPIRIT BOMB (Note: I don't care of the Japanese name for it is Genki Dama, I think that sounds super gay) I've been getting high power levels with him in Z Battle mode. After finishing Krillin off with a Kamehameha Wave, my power level with LV 1 Goku was 1 was 1,891,440. Mot of the time my power levels are only in the 600, 000 or so.

EDIT: I just got a power LV of 2,073,600 with LV1 Goku against LV1 Buu.

Lately I've been itching to do some SNES gaming so I broke out Mega Man X2. This game is still fun after nearly 10 years. I managed to collect all of Zero's parts (now I won't have to fight him, whew!) and I can't believe how easy Magna Centipede was. I had less than half energy left and I won the battle only getting hit once. Violen is still super annoying with that huge spike ball of his and Serges is just one messed up Maverick. Of course now that I know their weaknesses (thank you planet-megaman.com) taking the three hunters down isn't so tough.

As for Mega Man Battle Network 4... I saved ProtoMan and now I have to fight him in the Blue Moon Tourney. He has 1000 HP and the fool can only be damaged after he attacks. Did I mention he's really fast? Up yours, Capcom.:bluu:

I was cleaning out my closet, and I just uncovered more great video tapes of my gameplay I forgot I had done a few years ago. here's what I've yet ran into:

Tape 1
- beating the last part of Final Fantasy III. The REAL Final Fantasy III for 8-bit NES in Japanese.
- beating "Ikari III: The Rescue"
- Final Fantasy V, Super Famicom in Japanese. Beat Exdeath tree form, but I didn't beat Neo-Exdeath, but just catching the mass intensity of fighting one of Final Fantasy's cheapest last bosses on tape was enough.
- Final Fantasy IX: Same description for FF5. Successfully pwned Trance Kuja and got my ass handed by Necron.

Tape 2:
-Beating Bionic Commando
-Final Fantasy VII: Kicking Sephiroth's ass
-Final Fantasy VIII: Kicking Ultimecia's ass, all 4 forms
-Ninja Gaiden 3: Played stages 3-2 all the way up to Clancy's first form
-Ninja Gaiden 2: Played stages 1-4

Tape 3:
-Many many Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Dreamcast matches me and my hotel mates recorded in the room at East Coast Championships 8 last year
-So-so MvC2 combo exhibition by yours truly
-Beating "Forgotten Worlds " on Sega Genesis
-Final Fantasy 2/4: Kicked Zeromus' ass.

And the recent video game tape I made:
> I taped Evolution 2k3 3rd Strike (EI! EI! EI! EEEIIIII!!!) and CvS2 matches
> Couple CvS2 "illegal" C-Groove combos with Yun, Benimaru and Haohmaru
> Rockman & Forte finishing Megaman's game from beginning to end.

haha...I haven't done that in awhile. I still have a few old tapes of:
-myself playing Tekken 3...regular Arcade and then Survival modes.
-Soul Calibur...same deal.
-Phantasy Star Online(v.1) for Dreamcast. --I recorded my battle with Hard-level Dark Falz. I was playing as my first PSO character ever; Ultimate A.I. Ultimate's succesor was Perfect A.I. on the Gamecube version. I may get to the storyline aspect of these characters later on:D The problem is...I hardly play "PerfectAI" anymore, because the Force characters are just so damn fun and easy to level up. With an android...offline and solo...you'd be playing the game forever just to wear Electro Frame(lv.122 requirement). Perfect is still only 68 for now.

-I also recorded Project Justice and Rival schools....and yeah..part of the reason was the lovely Hinata:sweat:

-I recorded a few things from Sonic Adventure...I think it was just the last battle against Perfect Chaos....and those cut-scenes from various parts of the game.

-I just remembered one of my favorites....I had all the cinemas from Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain on tape. That's one of my favorite games of all time there. I wish I was Kain....the possibilities of such power would be endless...

I forgot I used to have tapes of my MvC2 playing before I knew about the tournament style play. I recently saw one of them, and they were so terrible, I don't think I've laughed so hard for eons. I finally beat ProtoMan in Battle Network 4 a few days ago. Now I have to stop a blizzard that Cold Man started because the grown ups are too chicken to do anything about it.

While playing Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors, I discovered that Gotenks is power house. On LV 1 his Kamehameha took down 99% of Trunk's life bar. Even his regular combos do serious damage. Only problem is you have to finish your fights with Gotenks fast before the fusion wears off.:bluu:

Got two SLAMMIN Japanese 8-bit Famicom games. First of all I got an actual copy of Capcom's "Tenchi wo Kurau/Destiny of an Emperor 2". And I also got this fighting game called "Joy Mech Fight", it's a very solid fighter for an 8-bit system, but it's sorta on the cutesy side, typical of alot of Japanese games, but it's still awesome, I beat the game on my first try, but beating a 1 player game is long and tiresome compared to beating your average fighter 1 player in 15 minutes or so. It's a cross between Megaman and Street Fighter. It has 5 stages, and in each stage you have to beat 8 enemies.

Click for some pictures of Joy Mech Fight. it's actually the game's ending.

Phantasy Star Online:: Mystic Acquisition, Birth of a Terrible God
At last, a long journey had come to its end. The Chojin cut a path through all the monsters of Ultimate Forest. Soul of a Blacksmith offered excellent experience with at least 50,000+ points in around 12 to 13 minutes.

This last stage of Chojin's evolution was a long time in the making. The 2 Hildelts that guarded the boss portal lay there dead. A fight with Sil Dragon would be enough to put Chojin right at level 152. He stepped into the portal with the Club of Laconium, and a quick cast of Resta to recover lost hit points....the time for ascension was now.

The first 2 Foie shots miss, somehow....still, the Sil was not as much of a threat anymore. Chojin ran just out of range of the Sil's ice breath. Keeping to the creature's left side, the legendary Force continued a fiery assault of magical energy. Sil flew up, and dove into the ground. With a close eye on the area map, Chojin easily dodged Sil's burrowing attacks. Sil suddenly bursts up from the frozen tundra and into the air. One final shot is all it took...the Sil landed, and fell over.

Chojin stood proud over the slain beast. A surge of power suddenly tore through his very soul. Yes, this was it...Ascension. The Chojin was now level 152! The Aura Field appeared around his body...this mystical blue energy radiated from him like the flames of the underworld.
"This is it...nothing can stop me now! I have the power of a thousand stars! Who would stand against me?! The Chojin power is absolute...I...am....forever!"
The laughter of a madman pierced the silence..

Mega Man X7
Command & Conquer (PS1)
Contra: Shatter Soilder

I was itctching for some good 2D action and Contra: SS for PS2 seemed to be getting rare around here so I figured I picked it up now so I wouldn't beat myself up over it later. I got it used with instructions.

As for MMX7, yeah I hear how some people hate it but I'm a HUGE MM buy so I buy any and all MM games.

A friend of mine had me and a few of the other guys over on Sunday to try out a game that he'd just bought: Cel Damage. While the computer AI can be frustrating at times, the game was fun as hell. It's like Mario Kart meets Twisted Metal, on crack and acid simultaneously. I was playing the purple-haired goth-ish chick named Violet, she drove something that looked like a cross between a tank and a Hummvee.

Anyway, damn fun game. Haven't been playing anything at home right now, though. A family emergency of sorts came up.

The Dookieman continued to wander around various areas of Ragol, killing any monster that dared to step up. He was tough shit at level 94 now, and soon to be 95. Played more Contra: Shattered Soldier. Man, that game raped me even on Easy! I couldn't get past the second stage, which has you riding on some hover bikes. Game is BRUTAL!!! That said, it's nice to see Contra return in next gen glory (unlike those sucktacular PS1 Contra games.) The game is a blast in two player mode. I just need to figure out the bosses/mid-bosses paterns and things will become a bit easier. Like any other Conra game, the bosses are HUGE!! One mid-boss looks like War Machine one 100 steroids, packing a huge gun, chain whip, and a Kamehameha Wave like beam.:D

I played a bit of MMX7. Axl is supposed to be a teenage reploid, right? Then why does he sound like he hasn't even hit puberty yet?:bluu: His voice sucks!!! And X, oh man, X. Well I played a few levels in X7 tonight. I honestly am disappointed with the game but I don't think it is garabe like so many have said it is. The 2D gameplay is nice but the 3D elements don't feel quiet right. It seems like the 3D portions are lacking in substance. I actually like Axl more now. His rapid fire pistol grew on me and he's gotten me out of some tight spots. Switching characters is a welcome feature because this game is TOUGH! Extra enegy is rare and I've yet to come across an extra life. I've gotten to two Maverick bosses and died on each. Although nothing has been revealed yet, I'm positive Sigma is behind everything. I'm still not a fan of the character though...I went back to playing my usual lineup of preferred characters: Freeza, Vegeta, Piccolo, Android 18, and SuperBuu.

With Freeza today, I got 21+million powerlevel ranking. You can do some interesting things by just launching his version of Destructo Disk, and then dashing in. The opponent has to do something about either that attack, or you...and will most likely get hit by something...or just get his guard broken.

That's a awesome game. I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers Capcom's Three Kingdoms spin off games. Ah Hit points are considered as troops. In fact I was just saying a couple pages back, I got my hands on a real copy of the sequel that never made it outside Japan. thankfully I got a English ROM to play for reference.

Cool. The first thing I learned when I played the game was that the troops aren't just an arbitrary number, like in most RPGs. They also affect your attack strength, so you can't just breeze through battles by pressing A and expect to win. I found this out the hard way during a boss battle when Zhang Fei was killing 30 men instead of the 100 he usually kills when he's at full strength, so it's very important to keep the troop count high.

There's also one for Gameboy and SNES, though the SNES version is pretty rare.

Zero has a cool deep voice. It's not what I expected (after I heard him in X4), but it fits the character somehow.

Axl's voice is the same as the japanese conan, or she is the vocal in TWO-MIX and sang a buncha songs in gundam wing.

Zero's voice is the same from X4-X7

Well I beat Contra: Shattered Solider. Man, that game was really hard even on Easy. I had 80+ continues left when I beat the final boss but I beat him/it on my last man. The 5th level had a remix of the original Contra stage 1 music and even had the fort with the guns shotting at you.:D

I've beaten two Mavericks on X7. So far the Tunnel Base stage has the best 3D gameplay I've seen in the game. The controls work well there and busting up bots in the Ride Armor was tight. The Cyber Field level...was Capcom drunk when they thought that up? The stage already looks weird but you get turned upside down with inverted controls. Talk about annoying. Zero has the best voice in the game. My boy X sounds like a pansy.:bluu: At least I unliked X (took finding 64 reploids to do it) and got his boot parts.

Started Mega Man Zero early this morning in the AM. Turns out Zero spent a year on the run from Neo Arcadia after defeating Copy X in the first MMZ. He looked pretty ticked when he got to the new resistance base. "We spent so much time looking for you, Zero!" said Ceil. If I were Zero, I would have killed all those mothers, took the new weapons and said "Screw all of you." Speaking of weapons, Zero has some tight new weapons in Z2. Like the spear hook thing that lets you graple on to things and swing across gaps. Then there's the charging shield that can be thrown and returns to you.

I just started to play Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System and I just have to say, this game is fucking HARD!!!! I'm playing normal mode right now and like two stages past the first boss. I have to fight this area filled with these gad damn Zombie bots and they take like three grenades and a couple of rockets to kill, it doesn't help that they're just as quick as I am either.

The game is pretty cool, has great amounts of humor, decent controls and is a lot of fun but the difficulty factor is way too high and there's some major collsion problems in the game. It's almost as good as Ratchet & Clank. Almost.

I've already beaten two missions today in Mega Man Zero 2. The bosses have sweet designs (far better than the laughable crap in X7 that is ahem, Tornado Tonion.) After beating the first mission I came across X or his elf form, whatever form he has in the Zero games. Too bad he isn't playable. Sigh.:( So far MMZ2 is pretty sweet and challenging. This one level had me using my grapling hook to swing over spike pits and ice platforms.

While I wait for Astro Boy: Omega Factor and Street Fighter Anniversary Collection to release I'm going to play a TON of games. I'm gonna get back into VF4: Evo (bump SCII. THIS is the best 3D fighter.) Start Advance Wars, play Final Fantasy II on FF Origins, and who knows what else.

I started FFII on FF Origins tonight. The way you build up your party members is gonna take some getting used to. I've already been to a few towns and have this dude named Mindu in my party. He has top tier magic skills for being so early in the game. Good thing I have my trusty FFO Brady Strategy Guide for this one.:)

I got back into VF4: Evo today as I said I would. Pai is still the bomb and I finally completed 1 of 4 Quest Orders to enter one of the tourneys I haven't been able to get into. The competition is getting tougher and tougher but beating human AI based fighters never gets old.:D

Shoot I have a copy of FF2 on my 8-bit NES. I still don't understand how to do it. I fight a dozen battles while my characters are on their knees in low HP status, and I still don't see a text box with "HP" among Japanese hiragana. I don't know what the fuck Nasir Gebelli (the man who came up with this gay ass level building system) was thinking.

The level-up system in FF2j is similar to those in SaGa games, meaning the stat-ups you get are random, though you can control your stat increases somewhat. Use a certain weapon, the weapon level goes up, use magic, your INT and MP goes up, etc, so the only thing I can advise is to keep fighting and you'll hopefully get the increase you want.

Final Fantasy II (FF Origins)-Well I got some of my party members stats to increase and Firion even got a 20 HP boost. (BTW Famicom, I've actually heard the NES verison music of FFII's battle theme. Good stuff. :D). It could take me a while to beat this game but my friend beat it so I can too. I feel so sorry for my party members. At the start of the game the empire offed their parents and nearly killed them. Lousy mothers......

Mega Man Zero 2-It is official: The Zero series rocks! Although some stages seem on the short side, the game has lots of action and a topnotch musical score just like the first game. Today I found a Sub-Tank! An actual Sub-Tank! I thought my only means of recovery in boss fights would be cyber elves but I guess not. One cyber elf even increased my life bar by like 4 pegs of energy. Too bad a many of them need to be feed first.:bluu: I still can't beat Phoenix Magnion!!! Dude moves around so fast he'd make Quick Man look like a turtle. If I can gain more energy or get some more recovery cyber elves, I may have more of a chance. Even with the thunder chip, he's still tough and I don't wanna have to use my one cyber elf that takes away 50% of a bosse's energy.

Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors-Gotenks is king in this game. At LV1 all I did was use one of my special huge ki beam attacks and LV1 Vegeta bit the dust. In less than 6 seconds the fight was over before it even started. Now why isn't LV3 Mystic Gohan as stronger if not stronger than this guy? Oh well, at least he has some endurance. However, I still like LV 1-2 Gohan better. Gohan=most powerful 9 y/o warrior alive. Blowing up the planet with Frieza for a victory never gets old.

Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution-I'm playing as Pai in Quest mode. I've named her SPIDEYGOKU. Her record is 141/6. I actually fought one guy who had a record of like 1230/1217. I was liked "WHOA!" I'm getting closer to being able to enter the tourney I've been trying to get into for so long. When I play VF4: Evo, I feel like I'm actually at the arcades because the Quest mode does such an excellent job of emulating the experience. Not since the days of Street Fighter II have I been this excited about a fighting game. Anyone else still playing VF4: Evo? If so, who is your fav fighter? Pai and Kage own for me.

Well I'm out. Whew, long post. I feel like Million typing my progress on PSO =)

I picked up a new copy of Mega Man X4 because my original one had a seriously messed up jewel case. It has the green GH lable on the side but ah well. I also picked up the rare Klonoa: Empire of Dreams game for GBA for only $16.99.

It has been a good while since I've been to the arcades. I went into the one in my mall with by brother-in-law. I saw him kick a serious amount of CPU butt with Jill, Spider-Man & Ken in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I've never actually seen MvC2 in action but it looks pretty sweet. Megaman X4, it still brings back memories of when I first got it.

Around 1997 when the game first came out, my cousin bought me the game when visiting family in New Jersey/New York, I first beat the game using X, then Zero, all in one sitting.

BTW if anyone's played X4 on Sega Saturn, are there any differences over the PSX like with Megaman 8? For instance, music that's a Saturn exclusive never heard on PSX, or the same stage has different music for both systems (like Tengu Man stage)?

The Viewtiful Adventure is still one of the best in the history of games. I just played thru from the last stage save file on Adults(*cuz I'm bound to be "rusty" now) difficulty with Joe. ****eh, SPOILER for Ps2 fans who still haven't experienced the greatness**********

I whooped King Blue with ease...it was so much fun to play up to the final battle, watch those cinematics....and beat that giant ass! The voicework is great in this game too....I hope they can keep the same people around for as long as Viewtiful Joe games are made. Any other voice as "Joe" would sound all wrong now...and the same goes for all other characters. Anyway, The Captain came out, and the final showdown was on. I actually beat him with a mix of real fighting and a few cheap voomerangs...heh, good thing I had also had a take2. I watched that great ending once again, loving every minute of it....and then the music video.

*does anyone have details on the Nintendo DS version? Will it be just a port of the first game or something else?

Dookieman = is now level 101, and wearing the Flame Garment....so he's Hot Shit™ now. This makes 3 characters I have that are above level 100 now....with Chojin at 152, Dookie at 101, and BigNTasty at 103 or 104(*been awhile since I played Big, who also has FG, and is in "Flame Broiled" form.)

For Dookie, it is a long road to the Smoking Plate.(lv.131 requirement.) I was going to do the whole narration thing here of Dookie's adventures, but I'm just not in the mood, and the forum is constantly throwing the "Server is too busy" message at the moment. Speaking of those....Chojin's story isn't done. He still has his plans to destroy all humans and newmans....but since that's outside of the gameplay context....I may just post that in FanFiction one day....or something.

I've still been in the Viewtiful Joe mood though...I'll pick up where I left off with The Captain in a little while. I'm currently at the last possible save spot on V-rated. I was good enough to get thru this and U-Vrated before, but I STILL fear those damn Metal Leos....especially in the final timed room. Score! I picked up a copy of the Gamecube version of Cel Damage from e-Bay for $15. A friend of mine got the X-Box version a few weeks ago, and I loved it. I've been searching feverishly for the 'Cube version ever since I found out that there was one.

I also bought a GBAsp and Sonic Battle. I suddenly found myself with a lot of spare time between my school and work schedules, and don't want to spend all the gas to make the half-hour drive to town and back twice every day. So it'll help kill the time. I also want to get the upcoming MM Collection on GB.

Sonic Battle is okay, but not great. The battle system is fun, and I dig the look of the characters in this game, but the story is retarded and upgrading Emerl can get frustrating at times (because he simply refuses to copy the useful skills very often).

Zero just beat Megaman Battle Network 4, thus retaining his label of beating every Megaman game released in the US.

Zero must say, Megaman battle Network 4 is the best one yet. The introduction of "Soul Fusion" makes this game feal more like a Megaman RPG than an RPG with Megaman characters in it. Also, the light/dark side and syncro battle aspects further enhance gameplay.

The story was passable, with an interesting twist at the end. The character design is, as always, great. The music, however, was a step down, with the last stage music being the only good song in the game.

But the point is, the battle system has definitely shaped up, thus fixing the single most blaring issue with the game. It's still not exceptional, but at least Zero can stand battles and even get some fun out of it.

Of course I still got destroyed, but this time I can notice an improvement....I'm at least getting a halfway decent number of kills on most of the non-stupid maps.(*stupid = the level with just long hallways and balconies. How is this supposed to be fun? It's way too big, and just ends up being a boring sniping contest.)

Anyway, we also enjoyed Bomberman on Gamecube, where my friend and I destroyed the competition....and Ultimate Muscle, Eternal Champions CD, Super Monkey Ball 2's Boxing mode, Mario Kart 64(TERRIBLE graphics. I can't believe there was a time when that actually looked "good". I fell into a bottomless pit a couple of times, simply because the "pit" looked just like it was solid ground.)....and Street Fighter 2 on Genesis, where I kicked a lot of ass effortlessly with Dhalsim. I eventually slipped up and got careless though...and my little win streak fell through.

oh yeah...that's what it's all about there. Nothing but games with about 7 or 8 other people until around 3:30am. I didn't get home until 4 this morning.

*If the damn "Server is too busy" screen would go away for 4 seconds I could actually post this damn message.

^^^I hear ya, Million. That crap makes it impossible to post messages at times. BTW it sounds like you really got your game on! I've yet to play Halo multiplayer but from all the fuss I've ehard over the years, it must be awesome. What version of Bomberman on GC did you play? Generations or Jetters? Generations Coin Mode OWNS!! I could play that stuff for hours! Bomberman Generations was one of the best $30 purchases I've ever made for the GC.

I got my Game Informer for this mongth. Brace yourself, Million because you're not going to like this bit of news: They gave DBZ: SW a 5.5 and a 6 for the second opinion. They said it was "just another dull Dragon Ball Z title." I couldn't believe it. They expected it too be too much like your standard fighter. Dorks.

I've been playing more Sonic Battle. It's actually pretty fun. I like upgrading Emerl and giving him all the coolest moves and stuff. The only thing that pisses me off is that I know exactly which skills I want to give him, but he's only copied about 1/3 of them, I'm having to use other things that I don't like as much until I get the ones that intend to use.

Not counting Emerl, who is the ultimate character simply because you can upgrade him and give him the best of everything, I think that Shadow is the best character in the game, though everybody has some pretty useful stuff. Chaos 0 would be a beast if he could just move faster. His attacks are deadly, but he's just so stinking slow.

I've been thinking about getting this game but was turned off by EGM's reviews of it. Of course that was before I realized the mag had turned to crap so I may just get it. Nice to know what a SRK member thinks about the game. I read GameSpot's review and it sounds like a really fun game.

it was Bomberman Generations...we just played the regular team mode...for some reason. In a multiplayer situation on most games...I'd always rather go for the mode that's "every man for himself" rather than teams.

Now that I think of it....whoever came up with Bomberman is a damn genius. This has got to be one of the greatest games in history, simply because it NEVER GETS OLD. It's been on pretty much every major system throughout the ages, and it's always good. My first experience with the greatness was in junior year at college, when one dude brought it down to the dorm lobby....it ended up being a good time of 10 people playing together on the big lobby tv. I've been in love with the game ever since....but oddly enough, I still don't have my own Bomberman game.

Another aspect of greatness here is that anyone can play it....Bomberman is really easy to get into in a matter of minutes, unlike your average FPS or fighting game.

B:Generations ---heh, that super-blast level is rediculous. It's a board where everyone apparently starts out with every ability...so your bombs have long blast ranges, you can kick them, and you can drop multiple bombs, or do the line-bomb thing....and there's the occasional "super-bomb" with a skull mark on it, which is like a little atomic explosion! As if this weren't enough, there's no real obstacles; the whole board is open with only small "pegs" to hide behind. It's funny because this particular setup always leads to games being over in only 3 or 4 seconds. People are blown up before they even know what's going on. I always start with about 3 bombs kicked in various directions, and then I hide behind something of course. So far, that plan has been quite successful.

I can't wait to get my own Xbox with Halo....I need to keep evolving. There was visible improvement in my tactics and execution last night, as I was actually getting kills regularly. Oh yes, when Halo2 comes out...I will actually get broadband mainly because H2 will be Live-enabled, and my skills should be at least half-way decent by that time.

*sidenote---there are some tight action figures of the Master Chief. I've seen them at Gamestop. If Todd McFarlane didn't do these figures...(I didn't look for a logo, but I doubt he did)....he should take note. The detail on the M.Chief figures is good, but they aren't in gay and/or stupid poses.

Well, the whole "situation" with my family is finally starting to resolve. I should be able to return to my Gamecube soon. This is very exciting to me, as I've still got to finish MM Collection, REmake, and SA2B but have had to put it all on hold for about a month now. I'll also have Cel Damage to screw with, though my friends and I have already unlocked everything on my one friend's Box version, so I'll prolly just use the cheat codes to unlock everything immediately on my copy.

I have been kick serious booty on DBZ: SW. Playing on higher difficulty settings rocks! I got a 23,760,000 power LV ranking as LV3 Goku against LV3 Ginyu. As LV3 Piccolo, I got the highest I've ever gotten: 63,360,000 against LV3 Vegeta.

On VF4: Evo, I was promoted to 7th Dan at last. I changed the SPIDEYGOKU Pai's gi a bit. Now she's sporting dark blue pans and a light yellow top with some purple shades.

I don't know if I'll finish MMX7. I got to the one boss in the fire stage that's a dog and the idiot kept saying "Burn to the ground!" every 3 seconds. Man, it was annoying. God bless the mute button. I may just start my new copy of X4. I've been wanting to play that game again.

Well I've done it. I've given in to the temptaion and have started playing Mega Man X4 today. I put in the code so now when I enter one of the capsules, I'll have X's Ultimate Armor! Bwa ha ha ha ha! I figure since I've already beat the game as both X and Zero that using this cheat is fair game. I'm on the intro stage as I write this. About to take down that big green dragon. He actually reminds me of the Mecha Dragon from MM2...except this time I can fight on land and I have an X-Buster so his tail is mine.

I Just got to Sigma on MMX4. Now I remember why I hated him so much: The idiot has two dumb life bars for each seperate final form. After finally realize that I was like "screw it," and cut the game off. Still it was great to play through X4 again. Even though getting the Final Sub-Tank in Jet Stingray's stage was uber annoying. BTW I just realized that Sigman's voice in X4 sounds like it was done by Christopher Sabat.

HOLY CRAP. I totally stand corrected on Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter...this game kicks so much ass it's ridiculous. The battle system's tight, the story is awesome. The only rub is the D-Counter and lack of inns/use of Save Tokens. Other than that, it is true greatness.

^I've been a fan of the Breath of Fire Games for years now. I still haven't played my copy of BOFIV but I've completed I-III. BOFII was awesome. Had a great, shocking, totally unexpected ending. My jaw was on the floor upon viewing it. :wow: BOFIII was pretty good, too. Story was great and different from the typical "Save the world" plot.

I've started playing Mega Man Battle Network again (the original first one). So far I've seen 3 robots from MM1 appear in the game: Guts Man, Fire Man and Ice Man. I beat Ice Man a few days ago but the little squirt was harder to take down than I thought. I'm really hoping I can add him to my Net Navi roster. Thus far I have Roll, Guts Man, Fire Man and Number Man. I'd REALLY love to get Wood Man, though. He's just top tier in the game. I can only hope Quick Man or Flash Man are in as well.

haha...well, I finally did it: DBZ Supersonic Warriors ---during church service. I couldn't resist...it wasn't going on for the whole time there...I just played thru Z Battle mode one good time with Frieza. With a GBAsp, sometimes you're just tempted to play a game in odd places simply because you can. Of course I made sure to turn volume all the way down before turning it on. I got a powerlevel ranking of 24million against either Krillin or Ginyu, I forgot now. These younger generations have it made in terms of portable gaming....I can only imagine how great it must be to start playing DBZ:Supersonic Warriors right there at your desk while the teacher is out for a minute. Back in my day we just had little dinky gamewatches and Tiger handheld games like "College Football", with bad LCD graphics.

heh, I had Plane and Tank Battle(4th grade) on a watch, then Q*bert(5th grade), I think Altered Beast, and Legend of Zelda(6th-7th). Nowadays...kids basically have a portable SNES right in their pocket to enjoy at lunch, or when the teacher leaves, or on a bus in an assembly, etc.

I've just been playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Cel Damage. SA2 in the hopes of finally collecting everything. Done with Tails, Knux, Shadow, Doc R, Rouge, Cannon's Core, and the mini-games, still have Sonic and the Chao shit to go.

Cel Damage just 'cause it's addicting. I've started turning off the Personal Weapon box, and turning on all the personal weapons as normal weapons. Hella more fun (more weapons to play with, and a little more balanced). Violet and Brian seem to be a little better than the others with these settings, as their vehicles have the best handling IMO, but at least nobody dominates like Count Earl can by abusing his Heat Seekers when Personal Weapon Boxes are enabled.

Fun but easy...castlevania games are supposed to be hard

Castlevania games have never been the same as SOTN. The difficulty took a serious dive in that game and unfortunatly it has crossed over to the GBA games. I remember having a tough time with Super Castlevania IV and Castlevania Chronicles. Man those games were tough. I died so many times in each game.

Since it is only a matter of days until the Street Fighter Anniversary Colletion I've been wanting to play some 2D fighters. So I popped in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Been a while since I played the PS1 version. I think SFA3 has the best Survival Mode of any fighting game. Period. Its really addicting and there are so many different ways to play. Got up to 27 victories with Ryu on Original tonight. Of course that's probably child's play to some of the Super Pros here but I was happy.

Keep with the spirit of 2D fighting and wanting to play some SNES, I turned on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. After all these years (game came out in 1993 if I'm not mistaken) the game still looks great. I just gotta have me so good old fashioned 16/32-bit sprites every now and then or I'll do nuts. Kicking butt as my boy Leo is good fun. The game seems a bit on the button masher side but this is still good stuff. I played in Tournament Mode and got my shell handed to me by Armagedon.

Well, I'm sure that I may be one of 42 people in the entire world that still enjoys Ultimate Muscle on Gamecube. My best friend and I turned on the other Halo-freak guys(*from the previous night of Gaming Madness) to this game, but I doubt they'll stick with it...even though they enjoyed it.

Anyway, I hadn't played in a long time before since PSO addiction came back strong, along with DBZ:sw. Now, I've made a new character with a great name/gimmick : BUKKAKE the MOIST. Yes, he's intended to be a sentient mass of "bukkake" that took humanoid form and joined the league. Unfortunately there's not much you can do to make a simple blob-guy type of design, since CAW options in that game are limited....but I think it came off well(BUKKAKE has the white "clam face" head, and the "poodle style" tufts of hair on the arms and legs...off-white color of course....these serve as the "globules of jizz" in terms of this particular character. His finisher is #22---the one where your opponent looks up and sees you hovering in the air, he comes down and beats him up into the air, and jumps up to slam him hard back down to the mat. I forgot the default name, but I named it "BUKKAKE Bash Special!". White hit sparks are abundant here, so it fits the character's disgusting theme.)

I also created 3rd Turd, who is yet another living shit creature.(*I already have a "Dookieman" wrestler) 3rd Turd has the cool horned mask, which is the source of his powers of course.

I wish they'd make a sequel for this on Gamecube or another system...with the same cel-shaded style(*I read about another UM game on Ps2, but they switched over to regular polygons, I think, and I hear this game sucks.), but an expanded CAW feature. I want a CAW feature that REALLY lets my imagination go wild, so I can make Jesus Christ, Princess Di's Corpse, OJ Simpson, etc....just like the good ol' days on WWF Warzone.(*that game actually sucked, but damn...that CAW mode was TIGHT. You could make nearly any kind of sick, twisted original character. All it needed was height options, so you could make midgets.)

*oh yeah...kinda rambled off before concluding the point...I wish they'd make a PROPER sequel(*something like this game, not whatever that ugly bullshit is on Ps2)....but there is no hope, because as I said many times before. All the 3rd party companies had a meeting...and they came to the unanimous decision that Gamecube is just "too ghey", so they will all no longer support it. For the past year or so now..."Multi-platform Release!" has REALLY meant: "for Xbox and Playstation 2. No love for GC because we've decided it's just too gay."

Super Castlevania IV was the easiest out of the Castlevania games I beat (just 1-4 for me. Came close to beating Bloodlines once, then lost my passwords). I got real far on it, past the clock tower the first night I tried my hands at that.

Oh no worries, Famicom. I beat Super Castlevania IV but to me it still had some tough spots. And if you used up all your lives it was BACK TO THE BEGINING of the level. None of that mid-level save stuff. Man, I think if all the n00bs played the old-school 'Vanias they'd throw a tantrum and quit. It even took me a number of tries to be Drac! But that game was so great. I bought it new back in 2001. I'd gladly play through it again.

I was playing TMNT: Tournament Fighters last night. I just rescued April in Story Mode (Turtles should start charging that chick rescue fees) and I came across the doppleganger turtle. He mopped the floor with me as Leo. Dude wasn't just cheap. He was gay cheap. So I change to Don and whoop him in the first match. Then in the 2nd match he smacks me up something fierce. 3rd match goes like the previous matches I had as Leo. Before I was defeated I was like "I'm done playing" and turned the game off.

Okay, so I've beaten Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter once, playing thru again (it's a game where they want you to do it multiple times, New Game+ and such) and I have observed the following things...

SPOILERS:

- Ryu is a fricking beast. Let me reiterate, he's a BEAST. He gets jabbed through the throat only to come back Kyuubi Naruto-style on their asses and kills them all. He shoves his claw through a guy's body and holds him over his head. He slashes a guy through a wall. He kills a whole platoon of soldiers. He takes absolutely nothing. From NOBODY. He kills anyone who gets in his way, and whoever he damn well feels like. On top of it, his dragon powers are straight-up broken. Odjn (his hybrid dragon form in that one) can literally annihilate ANY boss in the game single-handedly, as well as kick the crap out of full-size dragons (such as the last boss, heh). He did a fricking Kamehameha on him and blasted his ass to hell for trying to hurt Nina and Lin. No dragon breath from his mouth, no fire, just plain old asskicking laser beams. And that brings me back to his dragon form: he literally radiates flame from his body, and has flame wings. Simply put, he looks like he'll kick your ass and indeed he will. Oh yeah, and this Ryu can actually talk. Just so we're clear: Ryu will own you and your family for free.

- The story is awesome. It's much, much darker than previous BOF games, having a very Final Fantasy Tactics feel to it in the sense of "the world is crap and we don't care."

- The battle system owns. I'll have to kill somebody at Capcom if they go back to the old way of doing things come BOF6.

- Nina is super duper cute. The silent role goes to her this game, as some bastards took her voice on purpose to make sure she couldn't say anything about them using humans as machines. She's also younger than Ryu (he's 16, she's about 12) so she obviously displays the classic little sister in anime/video game symptoms: clings to him at all times, follows him wherever he goes even into the very depths of hell, is the only reason some of the guys who step to Ryu actually get to live, is the reason the rest of them die when they try and hurt her, etc.

That's about it. In short, this game rocks and rocks hard.

I've played Dragon Quarter, and wish to play it again, but it's in Philadelphia :(

I really appreciate that they took a tactics approach with the game, but the setting of the game was the exact opposite of BOF3...quite depressing. Whole thing being underground and all that. Anyways, mad solid game, and way cheaper than the ever popular Disgaea and La Pucelle that everyone seems so attached to. So if anyone is looking for a great rpg to get into, or just something to hold them over until the price of Disgaea finally drops at retailers, you could probably find this at EB or Gamestop for around $15. Awesome deal.

On that note, Breath of Fire 3 could probably be found in the PS1 tray of retailers for about the same price. Unfortunately, the price of Breath of Fire 4 has not dropped so well, and brand news are still selling at about $28. Still worth it, I say.

haha...I still can't find Bloody Roar for Gamecube. I may just give up and get it for Xbox when I get that system, as I'm sure you could still find the Xbox version without much of a problem. There's no way I could buy it off my friend of course...he loves that game.(*mainly because it's the only fighting game he can really whoop someone's ass in:p)

I continue to be pretty much unbeatable in Monkey Baseball on Super Monkeyball 2. I wonder if Sega will keep that franchise going..? I like the Monkey Boxing mode too....and then there's the game where you glide after rolling down a big ramp...and attempt a landing on different colored sections of an island for points.

I'm also getting back into Smash Bros. Melee....I caught a glimpse of that Pokemon movie with Mewtwo yesterday, and it reminded me of just how awesome Mewtwo is. It's a shame he kinda sucks in the game...I only get to play against the cpu, so...it isn't much of a problem. I've always imagined a great dramatic storyline for Smash Bros. Melee, where M2 destroys everyone with little to no problem...allies himself with Ganondorf, and the only hope against all this is Ness and perhaps Samus(*if you just say "she can activate a psy-shield component of her armor for mental protection"! ah...fun.).

I'm still thinking of getting Sonic Adventure 2 for Gamecube...it's a tough decision since I had a real love/hate relationship with that game back on Dreamcast.(*it led to the final Chojin Rage! outburst where I busted my DC with a punch, and broke the SA2 gamedisc into several pieces with a hammer.)

Chao raising still sucks, but most of the other bullshit stuff seems less so these days (Although, as I posted above, that one time trial was really pissing me off). I even kinda enjoy the treasure hunt levels now that I've taken the time to really learn the layouts and where the various hints can point at. Multiplayer on SA2B is good fun, the large cast for it is nice, and the coolest characters (Chaos 0 and Metal Sonic) can rock their respective games when played properly. At my Wally World, each is only $20. I'd say go for it. SEGA even says they fixed the no-hit glitch against The Final Hazard.

Ogre Battle-ZNES

I play the occasional CVS2 but I hate losing so often to SmoothCat. I was working my way through FFX-2 again to get 100% but the Call of the Black Queen lured me away. I love Ogre Battle...

I may play Metroid for the Nes(ticle) because need an NES fix. Yeah, I'm ol' skool.

I was really addicted to that game for a long ass time. Nothing like building your most powerful groups while trying to maintain that reputation.

Back to Viewtiful Joe--I finally continued my save file tonight...The Adventures of The Captain...and I tore through that last level.(V-rated) Of course I'm a bit rusty, and I died one time in the timed room with the Gelbys(big yellow guys). Surprisingly, I made it through the final room with the Metal Leos with no problem this time...I got hit once and Ukemied out of it.

The voomerang trick against *Final Boss*(*avoiding spoiling it for the new Ps2 fans of VJ)...I messed up the pattern, and ended up having to fight for real. This wasn't a problem either...I still remember the routine...Mach speed on the little satellite, slow when the low missle comes so I can auto dodge, and a zoom-stomp into mid-air "RHOH" when he summons the Die-Fighter things, jump up and hover to avoid all lightning, etc. Speaking of that...it's actually an interesting advantage that Captain Blue has over the other characters...since he has the huge jump + infinite hover ability...he can just jump way above all the lightning strikes, and stay there until it's safe to come down.

I beat *Final Boss*'s 2nd form with a mix of real fighting and voomerangs....now if only there was a real video game awards show that could actually be taken somewhat seriously...the people behind this masterpiece of a game deserve something. They'd win each category they got nominated for if I had anything to do with it. So, there ya go...I've been through V-rated now with Captain Blue(aka The Shit™).

I'll be playing more of it later tonight...I haven't hit up the Magnificent 5 in quite awhile...
*I saved this one guy's FAQ for the Rainbow V Challenge earlier, but I still don't know if I'm up to it....there's no margin for error, really....you could be at the last segment before a boss or something....screw up and get a "regular" V ranking, and you have to start over from your last save point, because that regular V would ruin your Rainbow V ranking!

BOF Dragom Quater sounds like a pretty tight game. I see it for $17.99 at Funcoland and GameStop. I need to pick it up before it hits rare status.

I've been wanting to pick up Sonic Adventure 2 on GC forever now but I didn't want to pay $50 oor $30 for it. Now that it's dropped to $20 I'll nab it for sure.

I'll have the SF Anniversay Collection in my hands tomorrow. Unless Capcom screws up and delays the game...AGAIN.

Haha, nah, I think we're good. I got the call from Gamestop today, and it seems like a few people have picked up their copy.

EDIT: I've not played much of anything over the past few months, except for PS2 3rd Strike. Last night I sat down and went to play two games I've not touched in a long time - Mega Man X5 and X6.

Mega Man X5 - There is a lot to like about this game, though the U.S. boss names do suck. It's got great music like in the Izzy Glow/Shining Hotarnicus, Dark Necrobat, Bolt Kraken (but you're too busy trying to do a bike course to enjoy it), Dark Necrobat (one of my favorite tunes in the X series) and Tidal Makkoen/Du....McWhal...yuck (the remixed Bubble Crab tune). The stages themselves aren't that bad - the only part that irritates me is that black hole in the back of the Dark Necrobat stage that causes massive game slowdown. On a good point, I think that this is the best incarnation of Zero. There are plenty of X Armors to choose from (which at the same time can be a bad thing because there's some I'll never use. The only thing that keeps X5 from being a true classic is the fact that the series had worn thin by this point. It's not as "complete" as X4, but it's still a good game. 7.8/10

Mega Man X6 - Hmm. It's got decent boss design (Commander Yamark and Rainy Turtloid). Music is okay, though nothing really memorable (except the "stage selected" theme). This is the game that I want to like because it's got a little bit going for it, but the horrible blind jumps drag it down for me. There's simply TOO MANY of them. You can't even get a HINT of where you are supposed to land.

The killing factor of X6 to me is that it just seems to be TOO COMPLICATED. You can't jump in and play for a while and have a good time because you have to scroll through 50 lines of text in some places. You have to worry about rescuing lame robots (either to keep them from being possessed or to power up your abilities). Again, too many armors to choose from. It's nice that they included extras to keep the player entertained, but everything else that drags this game down keeps me from wanting to play long enough to obtain said extras. 6/10

Sooo...I began my trek thru Ultra V-rated with The Captain later on. So far I still got the skills...
I may be up to the Rainbow V challenge after all....I wasn't even worried about that...just focused on having fun, and whooping ass "with style"...and on the 2nd part of the 1st stage(caves thru to Charles the 3rd) I got 8 rainbow Vs. I beat Charles's ass even worse than ever before...getting a rainbow V on him....he didn't even get a chance to repeat his pattern. Random stuff:

-anyone ever mach speed the book stack on the first stage up to the top of the shelf on the right side? haha...I have. It's fun. (everything in this game is fun.)
-someone over at Gamefaqs discovered something I never noticed either...you can move right out of your flip during Ukemi! I've had the game all this time, and gone thru all difficulties and never noticed this! Blue can't jump out of it since he has no 2nd jump, but he can instantly go into hover mode.

-I actually had a dream I was playing the game last night, and fighting Alastor. It alternated between me playing the game, and actually being there to fight Al for real. I've had this type of game dream before...where it alternates between me playing the game normally, and being in the game environment actually doing stuff "for real". It was surreal to say the least....hearing Alastor in person saying the usual stuff like "ROUND TRIP! ULTRA-VIOLET KICK!"

-I can't wait 'til the damn Nintendo DS comes out...I MUST have it immediately, as Viewtiful Joe is on the list of launch games:wow:

You're pretty much right about both games. X6 was the first Mega Man game to really, REALLy tick me off. The blinding jumps were far too arraviting. It feel like I just stepped out of the shower all nice & clean...and then Capcom just urinates all over me. What's up with that?! I think X6 did have some good music. Metal Shark Player had one of my favorite themes.

You're good Reggie, SF Collection is out. I walked in with my copy earlier.

Playing Hyper SF2, the first character I picked was Turbo Edition Ken. It almost brought a nostalgic tear to my eye hearing that "SHOOORYUKEN" 1991-1993 voice all over.

PS2 3rd Strike is KING! Yun is just right. He's the first character I picked and practiced Genei Jin with. I love the improvement Capcom did on the dive kick. It's fast as hell. That's why K.O. could combo into it consistently. I still might keep my DC version though, to remember the days of how great my Dreamcast fighting days were.

Son of a bitch! Too bad my Team Forcez (the name of my SF comp, see my title above avatar.) comrades are working right now. we could've had a SFAC Launch Play-off celebration at my crib.

Capcom, you did us old schoolers a world of good this year. It was a blast playing through all half the Megaman games on MMAC in one sitting, now I won't have to worry about my long lost VHS tape of SF2: Animated Movie. Ehhh well it was the edited version anyway.

I got my copy of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. I messed around with the tunes in the Gallery Mode for like 20 mins before I actually played though. I'm totally digging the arranged tunes.

My one gripe with HSFII: AE would be the unfathomablly cheap AI even on the "Easiest" setting it owned me for free. The AI in this game is even more cheap than Super Turbo. What was Capcom thinking? I hate having to resort to cheap tactics over and over to win, which was what I did with Bison in order to get anywhere (kept doing his Ground Slide and Pyscho Crusher over and over in fights). HSFII is still a great game but the demon AI makes playing solo unenjoyable.

I played 3rd Strike for the first time ever today. Wow. This game is GOOD!!! Why would people dislike this game? It looks great, sounds great and has a ton of new characters (new to me anyway). I haven't mastered parrying yet (not even sure what it is) but I still had good fun playing it. I hate Hugo. Back in the days of Final Fight a good slap with a metal pipe would shut him up but he's learned quiet a few tricks since then. I got whipped twice by him. Next time we meet, Hugo, your A is mine. :badboy: And Urien. Why, oh why must you wear a speedo when you fight? Gill=teh broken.

Finished Aria of sorrow...wasnt that impressed, checked a faq, Got the "good" ending. and Im pretty dissapointed...I mean, the biggest strategy that I had to use was "duck, slash" and occasionaly "get the hell out of the way of some incredible slow and obvious, yet not too devestating attack." That will beat half the bosses. But I did like the soul system, I just wish they had equivalents for all of the classic Subweapons...Holy water! Super bible! Where are you!? But Julius compensated for that.

Also, in brave fencer mushashi, in the last dungeon, I got annoyed and gave up. What kind of element is "sky" anyway?

Im also thinking of booting up my DC and playing some Sonic adventure 2...I never beat that final mission thingy. Stupid rouge, why do you have to suck?

I've now finished Metal Harbor on SA2B. I'd heard from a lot of places that it's the worst time trial in the game, but I found it to be rather easy. City Escape and Radical Highway were much more difficult, IMO.

I also traded in Serious Sam: The Next Encounter at the used game place. I like the two PC Sam games, but this GC one just wasn't captivating me like the others. I got Luigi's Mansion now, which I played through the first boss on. It's pretty fun.

I really enjoyed Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. People hate on it but it has a lot of original ideas and is very well done. I've been playing Breath of Fire 4, it sat on my shelf forever and I am just now getting around to playing it and.... Wow, I really like this game. I'll talk about it more once I beat it.

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! !

STUPID SUPER TURBO AI ON HYPER STREET FIGHTER II!!! Thanks, Capcom. Thanks for peeing all over my single player experience with the game. I have to be cheap to beat the demonic AI. :lame: Can't wait to play the game with a pal. Will be worlds better than teh gay ST AI. :lame:

I've encounter SkullMan and Mega Man Battle Network. Once again, another classic series RM has been greatly redesigned. I'm investigating another cyber crime that's causing the traffic to be messed up. 4 cars already went boom. I'm guessing TurboMan is involved. Ooooo I really like the first MMBN. Such a great game.

I'm finally getting to play through 7th saga and I must say that it is easily as addictive now as ever. That and several other Snes and NES faves are getting run through their paces of late thanks to the glory of emulation.

Did anyone toggle the music style on Hyper SF2?

haha I loved it when I discovered they pulled out the old dust covered CPS1 synthesizer that made the SF2 World Warrior, Champion and Turbo Edition music and redid Super SF2 tunes also.
