Elena: Air Combos

How do you get Elena's air combos to come out?
I've seen in match vids, where the Elena user would do like forward into roundhouse, or short into forward in mid air.

I tried it myself but couldn't figure out how to get it come out.
Probably something pretty simple, but nonetheless could someone help me out?

Just hold toward on the joystick during the second attack. The air chains are jab-forward, strong-fierce.
