I'll be bringing my PS2 and whatever fighting games I've got lying around here so you can train me in the ways of GGXX. If you have Reload bring it with you because I don't own it.

I actually ran across a customs officer in my store a couple weeks back and asked that exact question. She said that all you'll need is the birth certificate but it'd be helpful if you had anything like a health card or even your SIN as a secondary piece of identification.

This whole situation stinks and I'll tell you why:

If Tony takes his girlfriend and another friend then he's not going to get them to tune up his car. His girlfriend will literally laugh in his face and his friend will be like "fuck you buddy, get your game friends to do it." So essentially he's lost two contributions to funding this tune up. Ian and Dennis (the only two remaining parties) are not going to make up the difference. Ian will give his part and Dennis won't even pay him because hell... he's only got $50 CDN anyway and Tony is subsidizing his trip and getting paid back (which is a joke in and of itself because Dennis will pay him whatever he thinks he deserves anyway).

Further to this tune up scenario. Tony is asking you guys to pay for the tune up but you're not doing it. Considering ECC9 is tomorrow and he obviously hasn't booked an appointment with a mechanic and/or his dealer, when did he plan on getting this tune up? Quite frankly, I don't think he was ever going to get the car tuned up, at least not until AFTER the tournament, in which case it isn't your problem (not that it was to begin with).

ECC 9 Log

Finally came back from the long trip¡_ since I enjoyed this tournament so much I will write a nagata lock style log for it.

First of all I would like to thank Roger for driving us to New Jersey, it was a long drive and I didn¡¯t have to pay $50 for it

Highlight of the weekend:
-took a pic of ¡°Beijing duck¡±
-came in 4th for cvs2
-came in 13th for 3s
-random tournaments/random money matches
-came in 5th in mvsc2 team tournament

Low point of the weekend:
-lost pretty fast in mvsc2 and GGXX (Eddie is one cheap mother fucker)
-used hella lot of money
-losing to Jwong in 3s and CvS2

Line of the weekend: Chow Hai

Hmmm gonna talk about the games now¡_.

GGXX:
-all my opponents used eddie and trap me in the corner for 20 secs den hit me wit the unblockable for the kill.
-thx alot to James Austin for teaching me some tricks to counter dat shit after wards
-FINAL SHOWDOWN coming in 4th place wit his top tier KY

3S:
-once again I was able to qualify thx to Chun li
-all 5 of my opponents used Ken in my pool
-almost beat Jwong a game but his execution is just too good
-lost to Henry Cen in winners, but I was pretty sure I woulda beaten his hugo if I wasn¡¯t so sleepy
-lost to flash G in losers, the guy picked my own character against me too

mvsc2
-lost to two random scrubs...
-this game is too random for me

cvs2
-lost to Jwong in winners finals of qualifiers
-beat Som D twice in qualifiers even tho he still think I got lucky
-had really good games with nestor, life time boy, and josh wong in the final 16 matches¡_ I won almost every game wit some kind of lucky activation or my opponent messed up their moves
-GG to Jwong even tho he owned me up for FREE
-GG to heero, almost beat him but his RCs are just too good

Other stuff:
-teamed up wit the MTL guys and played team empire, team philly for money
-roger didn¡¯t do as well day cuz he couldn¡¯t decide which team to use throughout the tourney
-the Car ride is too good, made fun of all the gay/fat/ugly ppl we saw in the tournament.
