Mtl May Thread

K well since everybody thinks the mtl thread is dead, im gonna prove it wrong and bring some life into it.

first of all, if there is gonna be a tournament on may 8th, then theres a good chance ill actually be able to participate, but u guys have to officialize it first, ass ottawa peeps are confused as it doesn't seem like its gonna happen.

second of all, im not gonna hate on you guys, but im gonna be honnest.

the april thread was a horrid read. some random points I noticed:

the same 4 peeps posted a lot of stuff that are just so bllllaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh, in other words useless posts.


theres only so many times a person can aiith man from mao before it really gets boring.

also, people that are mad at me cause im most probably not gonna go to ecc need to realize something: This is my last semester in college and I don't want to flunk it because I participated at a videogame tournament, so u guys need to chill and let me fucking get through this thing, as its really important for me. basially, im gonna finish school a lot earlier than ecc, but my final english essay is due on may 29th, and I plan on using that time given until the due date to write a great final piece, so bare with me k. I really don't care if this is the last "major" mtl is gonna particpate in, because, I know u guys will be back at mira to play some more and maybe go to nec or something...who fuckin knows, so to a certain person who told me that ecc will be when us mtl players will know if all our playing was for nothing...euh guy...I play the game mostly cause I have fun getting beasted by ure c-sagat or a-sak, I don't really care if I do badly in a tournament cause its just a game.

oh and im the new photo hunt champion as well. now two high scores have to beat...try that guys!!!!!

From that point, there was a long argument, but, meanwhile; the bus driver pressed his magic button to call the police; so they called him to check what's going on. The guy with the bike got off, but one them stayed inside acting like a fool :lol: Before he went out, he said I'm gonna pull a Jackass and stood on the front wheel of the bike (which was detached) and rolled out :lol:
In the end, when we took off, that guy spat on the bus :eek:

well for a start there is the Casino of Montreal but just be cautious not to stake your plane ticket or something...in addition to that there is also the Chinatown but it's only about a 10 block radius in other words very small man it essentialy consists of only 2 streets parallel to one another (which extend for about 1/10 of a mile) and a perpendicular one that runs through them for about a minute walk or so...so you can go round it(whole chinatown) pretty fast...one single evening will suffice

for what it's worth your parents will surely enjoy going to "OLD PORT" there you can take a stroll along the river or rent boats and stuff (sounds like fun) altough i'm not quite sure if it's open at this time of the year

If you're looking for a first-rate hotel with great location efficiency then look for "Hotel Intercontinental" it's within walking distance of all the attraction centers in downtown. Moreover it's also conveniently close to metros (subways) and boutiques and what not

this is completely unrelated but if you happen to stumble on one of those canadian beer commercials just change channel man...those "I am Canadian" commercials are awfuly ridiculously retarded

i've resided in montreal all my life but unfortunately I know very little if anything at all about its history...my knowledge of it is very limited for lack of better word..in all honesty i'm not very well up in that subject...never had an acute faculty for memorizing names and dates...but quite frankly i could care less i muddled through all my history classes...but enough digressing...
to answer your primary question about the scenery of old port yes it has an array of anciant-looking monuments, relic stores, souvenir shops,museums, restaurants and what have you
it's definitely the ideal and most preferred place to visit by tourists...you can't go wrong by adding it to your places-to-visit list

The streets in old port are invariably animated even with the most untoward weather...amongst other things you'll find lots of horse-dragged carriages which can rented by you and your family,bicycles as well as other family-oriented activities

and once again if you're looking for a great place to sojourn during your stay in montreal check out "Hotel Intercontinental"

as for arcades there is one on st-catherine street between the mcgill and peel metro and one in cote vertu

no but, after the patch, i lost a level playing undead, i had like a few hundred games played, then i switched to human, i gained a level VERY fast. Like, i think i lost ZERO experience (i didnt look at numbers, but I lost like 6 in a row and my exp bar didnt move).

Gwai Lo: Race has nothing to do with experience gained or lost, trust me. Blizzard can be stupid, but they are not complete idiots.

Pre-1.15 losses would give you around -100 xp. Actual 1.15 losses give you around -5 xp. See the obvious difference?

Pre-1.15 wins would give you +100 xp points. In the actual 1.15 patch, wins give you anywhere around +20-80 xp points give or take a few.

So to sum it all up, this patch is for people who have time to play. The more you play the more levels you will gain since a loss is barely any experience taken off and a win is much more experience gained.

I've been playing competitive soccer for most of my life and never have we stopped a game when it was raining. The only reason a game will get stopped is if there is visible lightning, it could be raining cats and dogs and we'll still play.

Then again mother nature can be unpredictable at times, however, you risk your life crossing the street every day. That's part of life.

CvS2 had 128 entrants, and according to Arturo they did it Evolution style with 16-man pools and top 2 qualify. So far from what I understand, Alex qualified in losers (whatever that means) and he said he doesn't think Veasna even qualified...

Update: Alex must of qualified in the losers bracket of his pool (if there is such a thing)... Looks like the CvS2 tournament is going to take a while, but Alex made it past his pool... No news on Veasna yet!
