Thought I'd host some videos of Boston MVC2 players. Seems like Boston is non existent in the MVC2 scene. More to come soon, but enjoy these for now, I'll update more when there are good matches or yea when i got time, feel free to criticize the hell or flame me. I love criticism :D

Anyway, in JW vs commy 3 there is a point in the match where the magnetos get confused. It seems commy is the purple magneto and JW is blue, but then for a short time (right around the 15 second point) JW becomes purple and commy blue (it lasts about 2-3 seconds). has anyone ever seen this phenomenon before?

yea, i wrote on the site. those are mpeg-4, i couldn't encode them for some odd reason... um, for the most part, i've been able to play those with quicktime, you should try that

Yes, that's that weird DHC hail shit storm has been known for. Happends at random times, but basically, was weird that storm came on the other side, and the bground had two storms... here's a pic

They auctually didn't switch like you said....if you look at the life meters you'll see Commy starting the combo, then on the way down Justin grabbed him really fast, which was wicked.....

Trust me... if you notice, the first couple games, atleast for me, when i messed up, I think it was the "Justin factor", but then not worrying about it anymore, started to play more soild, ie, when i killed his bb hood, but then later, i messed up on sent, blah, messed up on execution

well anyway, after i'm done with school i'm probably goin up to boston since alex keeps on telling me to go... ill definitely have free time right after school so hopefully u guys at tufts can kick my ass and ill improve a little

Alex is much better, um, one tourney at the break couple months ago, we both went somewhat far, me losing to desmond 1-2, and alex losing to matrix 1-2. But alex has gotten a lot better, i definitely have a lot more trouble beating him.

Hey man, really appreciate the invite, but argh, CTF tourneys really suck for me. I work at this club on saturday nights. So just like last tournament, I go there to get to NY by 12, get in casual before tourney starts, play tourney as long as possible, take the 6pm, 7pm bus back, work till 2, pass out, :lol:

well, some of boston sucks, but like tufts guys, you, nestor, if he still plays. I don't think we suck. I don't think I suck, but i don't think I'm good, i've played top players, gotten some wins in casual, they're not godly, not invincible, no cap on any top players, but shit, they're just human, you take that away, you've won half the battle, rather than talk about how bad boston is, talk about the good... never known anyone else to look down on their hometown so much =P :lame:

BTW, I think your Julius is pretty good, I know first hand from all the times you've fucked me up.

-My pseudo combo video. Haha, please flame me as much as possible. If you see something DJB13ish, haha, I'm sure he did it before I did. This combo vid is put together very sloppy. Just put together some old combos I recorded before and freestyled some, so there are a couple of mess-ups, but too lazy to make this look pretty. Yea, this is how I try to avoid studying for my four finals coming up!

Guys right, TMPG Encoder has neat DvD encoding its 'fast' I guess mostly depends on pc though, uh nice combos/reset video, matches were weird, during the JustinW. ones the second person got REALLY nervous.

I learned that Sents. Rocket Punch assist (Alpha, Beta not sure which) is not garbage after all. Though I have not watch them all, what I did see is hella nice , did not look like Ricepatty could keep up, and the Mag/Storm mixups/crossups with Sents. assist are DANGEROUS. Good Stuff. But do you have any GGXX vids buy chance, or do even play that game.:)

I never said it would be original. The vid is actually about hit count, not originality;) I only made it to prove to Commy that it's possible to do close to 50 hits w/o supers. And to be honest, I've never seen the Cano combo, but I have seen Sanford using this concept years ago and thats where I got the idea from.
