people hate when i use twelve, cause even though they will more than likely win, they gotta work hard for the win. He run's away the entire match, and is very hard to catch up with. This is like a new brand of turtling, except it takes quite a bit more skill and isn't quite as boring :P

Twelve just preys on opponents mistakes, and runs away building meter and what not until they make a stupid mistake. But shit, i must say that i'm equally aggrevated by twelve cause if I make a mistake on any strong player, i usually get otg'ed and gotta do a guessing game that even if i guess right the first time i still have 25% or even 50% (thanks to dudley, urien, and ken :\) less health then i had before. Man, i hate twelve's crap life :(

the funny thing is that if the opponent is trying to bait you, your trying to bait them as well, but twelve does a much better job because his ex needle and ex dive cover both ground and air, and if the person wants to turtle against my twelve, i let them, i run out the clock, and most of the time near end clock i'll have almost full life, and he'll have half. And if he tries to rush me down, i either eat the rushdown and lose, or successfully keep them away.

as for "rushing down with twelve" the only time i've been able to rush down with twelve is against necro. It was really funny too, me and my friends even saved the fight it was so hilarious. Necro has nothing that comes out fast. But if you try to rush down a shoto, dudley, or urien, have fun wasting your quarters.

Twelve works with rushdown, but it's dependant on a few things such as how the match is going, and whether your confident enough in your abilities to keep on top of someone with a character like twelve for a long period without being outguessed or lucky parry into super. I'm thinking it's best to work a short mixup pattern, jump back, air dash in with JP, mix up/combo again, then back off. And variants on that obviously.

From there you can see if the opponent will follow after you, and you can counter as your backing away, or if they turtle, bait and EX NDL/EX FLAT or super if you think you have an opening. Since the rushes help build Twelve's meter quicker than he would have hanging back from the opponent.

Just remember to throw in a combo occasionally if your playing up close, since it might help stop parry > super attempts on startup.

That's not right.:confused:

Necro has a lot of moves that come out rather quickly (ex. L-Tornado Punch, BD+FP, B+MP, HCF+K command throw). Maybe the Necro player wasn't that experienced enough to put pressure on your Twelve.:wink:

I know this, here in the Dutch SF community i don't get respected much because i play with Twelve. My little brother also doesn't get the respect he deservese for playing with Q.

If I had a dollar for the number of times I've killed a Ryu or Urien for thnking that Twelve is an easy win I'd be a millionare. Then the player gets mad at me and picks soem rushdown oriented char IE: Dudley, Yang, Makoto or Ken.

i happen me this a lot of times ..i play necro first times people like this because i play with a "suck" char ..but if i win a lot of times ..guys hate me .. and they say ...
"stun again ..cheap" , "this char never have recovery moves"...
if you win is because you work a lot with you char ... you can win with all chars only need more work some times

I often have people picking their main first match, getting beat, then running to Ken the next time I face them. Pisses me right off. I just need to get better at the Twelve vs Ken match-up though and the more Kens I play, the better I'll get.

I had an awesum 3 win streak against some tier-whoring AZN last week. He is beating some scrubby Ryu/Yang peepz with his rudimentary Ken crap so I humbly walk up and choose Twelve and he yaps to his buddy(Playing CVS2) In Chinese:

"ZOMG Twelve!? WTF HE SUX"

The entire time he was trying to get me into Cl.MP>HP Chain into Shippu with Ken and I was staying just outta his reach and annoying him with pokes. Anyways I win in 3 rounds. So he's in disbelief that Ken could be killed by such a crappy character so he then chooses Chun.

This match was hilarious because he stayed in a corner doing Chun's B+HP and expected me just to mindlessly AD into it LOLZ, I got him with UOH into XNDL twice LMAO, I won again in two rounds.

Now he's really annoyed by Twelve, he hovers over Ken, then Ryu and then finally picks Akuma. Ahhh, it depends. When I went to a French 3S tournament with other UK heads, my team was the only one that wasn't getting mad heckled by the French (I teamed up with a Sean player lol). They seemed curious as much as anything else and some were even cheering us during casuals, especially when either of us OFFED a Ken player...

The point that I was putting out with SA1 Necro is that SA1 Necro just makes sure that Twelve can't do anything. SA1 literally covers Necro's entire body and makes it difficult for a Twelve player to get in when they always have to worry about a super that will take away 40 percent of their health bar if they get too close. Twelve can't even get in remotely close without worrying about that super and air dashing doesn't give you any real defense. IAD doesn't help too much either because that's exactly where Necro wants you to be so he can full on you with the super and ruin your ish.

Another point about Necro - even if he whiffs his electricity move (the DP one), there's not an awful lot Twelve can do to punish it outside of SAI either. Bah.

I pissed off some Yun player a few days back by doing Twelve's usual throw-mixups and he got so annoyed that next round he does Genijin on me in the corner and then threw me like 5 times lol :rolleyes: why do people that use top/upper-mid chars get SO pissed when you win a round with Twelve and proceed to ipe he floor with you the next? I don't understand it...

It's just the nature of playing a character that's statistically bad. Some people are gonna get hurt over it and that should be something that you embrace...not question or condone. Otherwise pick Ken. Stop complaining about throws while you're at it. :lol:

So...you were complaining about throws? Throws are a part of the game. It they threw you 5 times it's because they decided to change their strategy. You make it sound like some cheap plan they devised when their dive kicks weren't working. When you get good enough you can learn to tech his more than likely easily readable throws. :lol:

Iz all good though. I'm sure he was doing tons more complaining any ways.
