The best thing about juggernaut is that you can stick out a laggy as hell move (standing feirce) and if anybody even thinks about not letting you put it away, you just cancel into headcrush. It's awesome to see him just stand there with a move out and have everybody wait.

- There's no music because that was the only copy of MvC2 I had at the time. I figure everybody has some music they like, so you can open Winamp at the same time. :^) There are about 20 more, depending on interest, so if everyone HATES the no-music idea, I can fix it for those.
- About the matches not being on the server, right-click-save-as. Streaming shouldn't work due to the hosts being clueless. Still a problem?

1 dissatisfied customer for 10 GB of matches downloaded feels pretty good to me, except for the bandwidth. ;^)

We honestly didn't notice infinite time until about halfway through, and it made no difference. Matches 17, 18, and the rest not yet posted have time on. The rest of 'em also have some runaway Storm and some Spiral.

I guess some people just can't believe that anyone except the Big 6 can compete. All the better for me. :^)

Hmm not quite sure what to say at Higher Mag juss that it's really fun to play vs people who can kill you in 4-8 hits that aren't storm or Sentinel, Magneto doesn't count he needs resets or 45 hits of ROM into unmashable or DHC of doom. Aside from that, I was too embarrassed to play a mirror match :lol:

(essay) - Tiers don't indicate automatic wins, they indicate characters with advantages, disadvantages, or skewed risk/reward ratios compared to the rest of the cast. Case in point - if you don't touch the stick or buttons, you can lose with any team you want to. :^) Winning with low tiers is possible, you just have to have a different skill set. It's still inappropriate to shout "Where y'all at now?!" because tier ratings are valid. In fact, they are *extremely* valid - without the power-up bug, Juggernaut would simply NOT be able to compete with Magneto, Sentinel, Cable, or Storm in any real way. Many of the low-tiers are low-tier simply because of the damage they take (high risk for doing anything) and the damage they can't deal (low reward for doing any of your high-risk stuff) without substantial Super meter use. Tiers don't mean you can't win with Anakaris, they just tell you that it would be a lot less effort to play Cable.
Looked at another way: Many low-tiers can do Magneto- or Storm-style damage with the right assist, if they land an opening move. Some, like Juggernaut, can even do more damage more easily. However, with all the crazy manuvering they can do, Magneto, Storm, or Sentinel are much more likely to land their opening move than Dan or Felicia are, which gives them the high-tier edge.
- The My Game section: give it a bit. I'm busy with tests right now. :^)

Hey Mike, or anyone for that matter, is there a way to DHC from Magneto to a Headcrush? I know you can frame kill it like Magneto can with Iron Man's Photon Cannon, but are there any other setups for it?

2 - For Nevermind:
Launch, aircombo, airthrow with Fierce, tempest DHC headcrush, mash 8 hits. Kills all.
Launch, sj.RH xx tempest, DHC headcrush. Also launch, sj.RH dash down etc. normal jump towards Short->Fwd->Fierce xx tempest, DHC headcrush. Also combo to s.RH xx tempest, DHC headcrush.
If Mags is B-type - d.Short->d.Fwd xx triple Super, or anything else xx triple Super.
(Like I did in the first batch of vids from long ago) combo to OTG Short->slide, tag in Juggernaut, [optional jump towards Short->RH] Headcrush. Midstage only.
In summary: There are many more ways, come on now, it's Magneto.

I've already PM'ed Mike and offered to help mirror some of the matches.

These are very very good matches, and highly educational. I'm still somewhat of a novice at MvC 2, but here are my thoughts about couple of Mike_Z's teams:

Juggs/Doom/Tron:

Strengths: First & Foremost, all 3 characters have good/great defense, which makes them hard to kill (how many times have I seen Magnetro's Magneto tear up Juggz with infinites only to die with 1 combo 5 seconds later?). High damage potential, most combos cost either the opponent's character or 90% health, and the DHC's are great not just for pure damage but for frame kill (Tron's Lunch Rush = instant startup), and by far the most LETHAL counter (glitched Headcrush makes attacking Doom or Tron extremely treacherous)

Weaknesses: Two mainly to speak of... First, RANDOM TAGOUTS. To glitch Juggs, of course you have to tag him out during his power up, and that can cost the incoming character some serious health .. but this is generally agreeable considering what you're getting in return (again .. counter-HC > *).. I also have reservations about their DHC's when blocked (Is Doom Photon Array XX Tron's Giant Servbot super punishable? and vice versa?)

The second and most glaring weakness is Cable. Against all 3, he can dominate, if he's patient. Perhaps the most difficult match would be aganst Juggz w/meter since he can't chip with fierce viper and there's a startup delay on grenade. Also, since Cable can safely punish assists, any can die quickly if abused too much.

MSP was fun to watch, and in many ways mimic this team in damage potential. MSP could be considered better because it's easier to force a hit. But you can't deny the fact that Juggz/Doom/Tron can kill any member with literally one combo. So it really comes down to whether or not Magneto can kill at least one member of that team before he dies. I do notice that Tron doesn't do well against Psylocke, and seems to be her worst matchup besides Cable.

Spiral/Cable/Sent seems to be a tough team for Juggs/Doom/Tron, even though that Doom counters Spiral. Tron's assist seems to lose against Sent drones, but I'm not sure against Juggz's expansion version. Once again, Cable is a huge problem for this team it seems, especially if he Sent drones are backing him.

But overall, the biggest surprise is the fact that this team can fight Sentinel pretty well. In all the matches, it was near impossible for Sent to sustain flight for any long periods of time. Of course, Sent's attacks all hurt, but that's negated by the fact that all 3 members of Mike's team have good or excellent vitality.

Mike Z hasn't played enough Magneto/Hulk/Juggz for me to formulate an opinion. But, can someone tell me why does that combo takes off 90% life (Magneto magic series [4 hits, slowly], tempest XX [immediately] Gamma Headcrush.

Felicia has an infinite against Sent :eek:?? Her supers are excellent, and can counter HSF even if Sent does his super first, and DAMAGING combos. Instant startup can mean frame kill with Juggs' HC as a DHC. She needs Doom to keep Cable/Sent grounded though.

Suggestions? Magnetro, if you could play Team Scrub (or Storm/Sent/Commando), I'd like to see how well you do against Mike's team. I also wouldn't mind seeing a bit of Strider/Doom and perhaps Team Watts.

There is, however, a way that has been found to

a) Make sure that the Crush will always connect and be unmashable; while at the same time, b) do almost double damage and nearly wipe out normal-stamina characters completely with just one level of super meter.

...*I* didn't find it. I just said it's been found. *Quiet* already. :)

This is called the Double Crush (If it's not conventionally called that, then I'm calling it that now. Hush.), and it is your key to pushing Hulk up just a few rungs on the old tier-list. Probably not enough to hang with the big boys of zoning (I.E. Sentinel, Cyke, Spiral, STORMaieeeeeeee), but still a contender in his own right.

The Double Crush works like this:

- You call an assist which puts the opponent in the air and keeps him there, setting them up.

- Hulk does a Gamma Crush, and on the way DOWN (not up, if it hits up, Ye Olde Vertical Flying Screen will activate, they will fall to the ground, and they can mash out), hits the opponent with his big rock for a bunch of hits.

- After a set number of hits, the opponent falls back down to the ground (it seems to be impossible to roll out of this. Flying Screen in action again, perhaps?) with Hulk pretty much right on top of them.

- Hulk does a SECOND crush on them, breaking the rock, for just one giant damaging hit, as if the opponent had been hit with a Crush setup on the way up.

In essence, you are getting two Gamma Crushes for the price of one. It takes advantage of both of the Gamma Crush's ways of figuring damage:

- First, MvC2 compensates for the opponent being in the air and doles out several small Crush hits which in total add up to 1 Gamma Crush's usual damage. However, since Hulk is still in the air, THE ROCK DOES NOT BREAK and is still in use. In fact, the rock never breaks until it reaches the ground.

- Second, the game gives you one big Crush damage dealing when it knows the rock is going to break. Again, standard GC damage, only it doesn't know that it ALREADY dealt that same damage out when Hulk's rock was smacking the other dude around in the air.

Uhm, yeah, whiff Mag's Tempest keeps them in mid-air; therefore, Hulk gets to hit them twice, since the rock has to break on the ground (well, that's basically the "what" happens)...:o

LoL and so true. My low tier team is Guile or Charlie/Capcom/Jin all aa and even I know and experienced that it's a sucky team for competitive play. Sometimes I even lose just to the cpu from time over with that team.:rolleyes: :lol:
