...o..and i've got a question about the clock stage in MvC2...if the time set on your consoler is rite..does the clock so that actual time?.....i hope that made sense..

elena background in SF3 NG and 2I. that was just beautiful. (fi you play with ryu against elena on NG you can sometimes see SF1 Joe and Adon duking it out :D) . alot of the backgrounds in those games were beautiful, as were the ones in SFA2. SFA3 had some decent ones, but not quite as good as A2 IMO. ST had some really nice ones too, cammy, deejay, guile.

oh and lets not forget some of the most beautiful backgrounds come from snk games. backgrounds from LB1/2, are masterclasses. snk sure have loads of nice backgrounds too.

I gotta go with KOF 99 (evolution) on Dreamcast, the stage where its raining. I just love it. not the most graphically impressiver stage but I love how they did the rain effect..awesome as hell.

Yes, the clock tower shows the time your DC is set to. A cool little quirk they put in.

Xmen COTA, KOF2000 and Cyberbots have prolly the highest standard of BG's of any game I know. Some of new school fighters are really strong too especially Guilty Gear series, and keep an eye out for Sam Sho special too.

When I first saw that stage and heard the BGM, I was beaming from ear to ear. Final Fight is one of my all-time favorites, and stage 4 (where Rolento is the boss) is the best in the game. I'm a sucker for elevator stages. :)

MK2 - The stage with the spikes on the ceiling. Making people hit em and slide off is funny, every single time.
