Romantic Comedies in anime form rock. Case in point. Please Teacher. I saw the first four eps and I could not stop laughing. A hot alien posing as a teacher and an 18 year old student marring the hot alien teacher. The comedy that insues is just so hilarious.

There have been so many "demon of the week" episodes in Inuyasha that I don't even remember an ice cat demon, and I have seen every episode of Inuyasha.

sorry for not being specific, but I meant the episodes where there were 4 cat demons trying to resurrect their master that was killed by Inuyashas father. the four cats had different elemental powers I believe. It's when sesh leaves rin near a river and he confronts the ice cat (koura?) im not sure what her name is and the river turns into ice. it's also where mirokus raccoon friend looks for him and tells him about a pack of cat demons looking for jewel shards.
edit: around episode 75 it starts

nah, I wasn't trying to flame you for giving a small description of the "ice cat demon", I was poking fun at Inuyasha for having so many filler episodes. I think what you are looking for is here:
http://www.kylesfaves.com/inuyasha/panther.html

There is more than one page for screen caps for each episode.

I am addicted to AMVs. I have already downloaded over 400 AMVs since I've been to animemusicvidoes.org. Not only do I want to see Love Hina now because of all the AMVs I've seen, I also want to check out Neon Genesis Evengelion. If I didn't have my CD burner, I've have used up all the space on my hard drive along time ago.
And to any Naruto fans out there: Does anything lovey dovey happen with Naruto and Hinata? I think it's soooooooo cute how she has a crush on Naruto and she's got some tight skills from what I've seen in the AMVs that I've downloaded. I'm hoping Naruto forgets all about that ho Sakura and hooks up with Hinata. So if anything happens with those two please, spoil it for me, I don't care!!

Bleach is overrated... I've been watching it recently and I can't for the life of me figure out why it's so popular. Every episode is the same: "oh shit there's a hollow! It's going to get one of my friends! BAM I just killed it... insert funny joke here, end episode." All of the bad guys look the same, all of the good guys have this FF7 Cloud attitude... I just don't get it. I like the opening theme (song and animation) but that's about it.

The TV series covers the first arc, the OVAs cover the second major one.
The anime is painfully slow, though.
Actually, I'm not sure if there is a small gap between when one ends and the other begins. They should meld perfectly, but I'm not going to watch the entire anime series just to figure it out.
But the OVAs are called Greed Island. I think they should be up on Anime-Suki somewhere. stoptazmo has the manga chapters, though Toriyama world might have a torrent for all the older chapters as well.
I guess I could make a torrent for the manga.
Then just read it from the beginning.

Alright then, thanks.

Holy Shit, one of the best new manga ever - Boku no Futatsu Tsubasa
http://www.adtrw.org/tsubasa.php
alright, its like ecchi humor like love hina mixed with somewhat of an art style reminiscent of azumanga daioh meets a whole tub of lesbians
this is awesome despite the fact that the main character of focus is this chick whos a hermaphrodite

I hope it's true, but there really isnt any more info about it. Thoughts?

No dice. It's been hopeful speculation since that news that a second season was coming...but nothing's happened. The best hope is maybe the PS2 game re-sparked up interest but I doubt it.

Love Hina manga is my new drug. I already have the first 8 books and I'm thinking of buying book 9 on Monday. Keitaro is so freaking hilarious. Naru obviously has the hots for him but is far to embarassed to ever admit it. Mutsumi is like the female version of Keitaro but unlike Naru, she has no problem showing her feelings for him. I'm a sucker for a good romantic comedy and I'm just eating this one up. I think I may like the manga more than the anime already from what I've read and heard. Although the AMVs is what got me iterested in the series, the manga looks like it explores the series more. That said, I still can't wait to see the anime and the movies as well.

Holy Shit, one of the best new manga ever - Boku no Futatsu Tsubasa

alright, its like ecchi humor like love hina mixed with somewhat of an art style reminiscent of azumanga daioh meets a whole tub of lesbians
this is awesome despite the fact that the main character of focus is this chick whos a hermaphrodite

Not crossed the line? You seen the last chapter? :wow:
Anyways, I think I'm gonna check out this Love Hina, I've heard too much not to watch it, but hey, why buy when there's BT.
Also, what is the point of an AMV? I remember all those stupid DBZ's back in the day, just clips with mismatched music.

Holy shit. I can't believe I actually identified it.
Zor, that is from Hunter X Hunter, more specifically the OVAs from Greed Island.
The manga for it is really good, but the normal anime series is really slow.
The OVAs are supposed to be awesome, though-- but you'll probably need to at least read the manga to understand whats up.Since the first time I responded to this, I've been watching HXH and now I'm up to the Greed Island OVAs. Not to nitpick, but after watching most of the eps that pic was actually from the TV series but no big deal :pleased:
If anyone else is interested in HXH, you can still find the series on Animesuki (and I'm very surprised this anime hasn't been licensed--it's way too good!). You can watch it all from TV series -> OVA1 -> Greed Island -> Greed Island Final without interruption.

I just bought the latest issue of Shonen Jump. After YEARS and YEARS, we are finally getting the manga that made Akira Toiryama famous: Dr. Slump. This month's issue came with a preview of the manga and the first graphic novel for Dr. Slump comes out in May. Does anyone know exactly how many graphic novel books this series is and how long the anime was?
I also can't wait to get the following:
Kenshin vol. 13
DBZ vol. 19
Hunter X Hunter vol. 1
Love Hina vols. 9-14
Also has anyone ever heard of EyeShield 21? After reading a preview of the manga in a past issue of Shonen Jump, it actually sounds interesting to me.

Sorry Zor-- most groups drop manga once they get liscenced for US release, and if volume 7 is already out, I doubt that anyone picked it up again. Sorry.
In more positive news, I'm uploading a huge rar for HxH(600mb!) that is every chapter released up to the current. I just want to use up my bandwidth before the end of my first billing period. I've only used 8 out of 120 gigs. =/
And for the general anime things you might like--
R.O.D. (Read or Die) OVAs
Hellsing
and... um, that is all I can think of for things that a general anime fan would like.
And I agree with Zor-- Bloodlust was pretty good.

anime series looks horrible. I hate how its drawn. Plus i cant belive they started allllllll ooooooooooooveeeeeeerrrr again. I thought at worst they would start way back after the ova or something. But they went riiiight back to the very begining.
I just dunno if i have the will to watch it from well basicly the begining and with the un good drawings, and the fact that ive been reading the manga for so long now.....
anyway speaking of the manga if any one cares, looks like the manga could possibly be ending in the near future. As well everything has basicly come to a head, then again im sure some stupid random crap could happen that takes that ill away... But I think it would be a bit strange to throw something like that in now, after having so many "dramatic" chapters as of late shrug....

i dunno man, its gotta be pretty close, hes gonna have to make a choice between aya or tsukasa now that basicly everything in on the table. I mean the only reason I dont think it will end to soon is cuz well yui is basicly just a forgotten character so im sure something is gonna have to happen with her lol.
Though I do think its a lil' gay they never really used that misuzu girl. Last chapter woulda been great to finaly do something with her, she was all getting emotional how it was basicly one of the last times she will see and be with everyone. It woulda been awsome if she just said junpie i cant let you go with out telling you something. Then they go to the closet and she pours all her emotions on to him and then they just fuck randomly. Or maybe her brother invites junpie over for like a graduation party, satomura(or whatever his name is i forget)gets drunk, and passes out, then its only junpie and her alone on the couch watching the movie, and she sneaks a bit closer and then they start talking and then fucking!
sigh so many things need to happen lol. ... I dunno i just think its gay that in the very first few chapters it was basicly said that she liked him more or less(or intresting whatever)and then it was sorta just forgetten and she was hardly ever used.

Back to what I was originally gonna post. Ashita no Joe. In english Tomorrow's Joe. I've heard about this series and read some synopsis' of it and it intrigued me from there. Here's a little info I got from animenfo.com there are spoilers
Joe, a teenage orphan in the slums of the Doya streets, meets Danpei, a homeless, alcoholic ex-boxing coach. Danpei, seeing Joe's boxing talent, decides to train him. When Joe is sent to a terrible juvenile home for petty crimes, he meets Rikiishi who becomes his boxing rival. Danpei arrives at the home to help Joe to train in order to defeat Rikiishi. When Joe decides to seriously pursue boxing, Danpei cannot get a coaching license because of his reputation as a drunk.
Only three episodes have been subbed so far and if you read the info I bolded they haven't gotten that far yet. They are still doing character building up to the point. With Joe working as a con man using kids  . I know I should post some more info but I have to go pay the cable bill and go to the gym. I will be back but for now you should all check this out. It's just has the old school goodness about it. Even tho' it's only 3 eps. so far I'm loving what I 'm seeing right now.
So basically it's boxing anime from the '70's. Looks damn good but the sound is kinda grating 'cuz of it's age. Maybe I'll get around to a hype thread for this, who knows. I hope a goup out there scanlates the manga for this as well. I just like how it's not all happy happy. It has that gritty vibe to it. I love it and can't wait to see more of this series.

Just started watching the 2003 Asto Boy DVDs. 5 DVDs, 10 eps per DVD=50 eps. Man, that's a lot of Astro Boy. My fav eps so far are eps 3-4, Atlas and Astro vs. Atlas. Dr. Tenma is one messed up mofo. He created Astro, ditched him, and now sets him up against other robots to challenge him. It really is cool how Osamu Tezuka had Tenma turn out. He actually can't stand humans (although he is human) and he thinks robots should be the ones to rule the world. Since Atlas was made from the meories of Diachi (Diachi had problems with his father), Diachi rebels against his father and attacks humans at will (since he has the heart of a human, just like Astro.) I highly recommend this anime series to everyone out there. It may appear kiddy but the storyline can be surprisingly dark at times and the dubbing is VERY good. If you've played the GBA game, AB: Omega Factor, then you'll reocognize many of the characters.

Just a note on the scanlated Ashita no Joe. The first 4 or 5 volumes you have to read it left to right then after that the volumes are the normal right to left.
The art style is definatley old-shool which kinda contrast with the story. Go read and watch people!
Since I'm on an old-school fix I think I'm gonna check out Astro Boy. I'm gonna look for some scanlated Dororo as well.

Back to what I was originally gonna post. Ahits no Joe. In english Tomorrow's Joe. I've heard about this series and read some synopsis' of it and it intrigued me from there. Here's a little info I got from animenfo.com there are spoilers
EDIT: bolded word. I couldn't think of it at the time.
Yeah, this show! This is Old classic. I've always wanted to track this down and watch it someday, but never could remember what it was called LMAO. This show probably started all sports show hype as we know it. I'm soooo glad to know they're doing an English job finally

Def pick up Astro Boy, WesFemto. I think you'll like it for sure. I originally thought the complete DVD set was of the 1980 Astro Boy series but it turned out to be the excellent remake of that series that aired on Cartoon Network back in 2003. The 1980 series was 50 eps and the 2003 remake series is also 50 eps. Man, this is good stuff.
Manga, I'm currently reading Love Hina vol. 7.
I saw DBZ Movie 10, Broly Second Coming. I liked the first Broly movie better. This movie has more comedy in it, which is good but Broly did far more ownage in Movie 8 than he did in this one. Still, when the action, kicked up it was good. And the way the beat Broly was so much better than in Movie 8.

I picked up vol.6 of Texhnolyze, vol1+box Koi Kaze and Paranoia Agent vol.3 today. I had a $100 to kill. I saw the Astro Boy boxset but I'm gonna hold off for now. I've only watched the first 2eps. of PA and man is this awesome. I really can't wait to see the conclusion of Texh. I'm still at my friends house (drinking beer and playing Doom 3). I wanted to pick up vol.2 of Samurai Champloo but they were sold out. My friends and little bro are dying to see more.
The Giant Robo boxset looks fucking ill as well. Big ass dome so I guess it can't be a boxset but cool none the less.

buzz: yea ive seen up through get backers v.3 athtis point. I have 4, 5, and 6 waiting. Its not a good anime. but it IS fun to watch. And i really like the characters. Especially Midou Ban ^_^ But i still wouldnt call it good anime. its like watching a jet li flick. fun but not good. i heard the manga isnt all that good either. But I havent read it.
Holy: yup thats the one. I never got to see the first Full Metal Panic. But Im enjoying this new one. I am watching the press screener DVD. So its not complete.
and on maburaho, thats exactly why its terrible. Im so sick of the tenchi formulaic shite anime. Its a carbon copy of every other female harem guy's wet dream anime out there. Not even an ounce of originality. I can't wait till I get around to writing my review of it. It should be fun.

Just finished watching Texhnolyze and HOLY SHIT! :wow:
This series is too fucking good. I can't really explain it but it is probably one of the best shows out there if not one of the greatest. You have to see it for yourself. The subject matter is off the wall and when evereything is revealed it's just :wow: :wow: :wow: If you are a fan of well written stories animation or not you would be a fool to pass up on this. If you don't have this in your anime collection, I don't know man, somethings wrong with you. The only negative thing about this series is it ended but the ending was just beautiful. It's one of the best endings I've seen to a series.
All the volumes are out now so for those who don't have it, it's a great time to get in the series since you can buy it one swoop and don't have to wait for the next volume to be released.
This series is just a thing of beauty.

Can any Macross/Robotech fans help me out on a little info? A few weeks ago, I saw a VHS movie called Macross. Now I'm, no stranger to Robotech. I have the entire 36 ep Macross Saga on DVD. Thing is, I had never seen the movie called Macross. The way it went, it played out like a abridge version of the 36 ep Robotech Macross Saga. So did the Macross movie come first? Or did the Robotech Macross Saga come first? That's all I want to know.
Astro Boy just keeps getting better and better. If you've played AB: Omega Factor then you'll recognize the whole conflict between robots & humans and the anime series carries it out pretty well. Only 3 more eps to go and I'll have finished off the first DVD.

^actually, it(scrapped princess) does go somewhere interesting. Though true, it never really breaks out of its "shell" persay, but the ideas and concepts of the series sneak up on you toward the end instead, and it's a nice little piece of future fantasy in my book.
Anyway...
Since I'm really bored and have nothing better to do, I'm going to make a big nerdy list of all the crap I've watched/am watching, and then make notes on what I think is good and what sucks (bolded are must sees, dropped means I stopped watching it even if I could have easily obtained more).

or if you are mouse impaired you can even use that long key at the bottom of your keyboard called the space bar. I can post a diagram if you need one.
I know it's tough, but with a bit of practice you can get the hang of it.
but scrolling down or using the space bar CAN take upwards of 1 -2 seconds. So i know how time consuming and difficult this can be, so next time if his highness will simply provide the rest of us with a list of things he doesn't like, then maybe we (the entire forum) can do what we can to not post things in formats that are displeasing to thine eyes.

What the hell happened since the movie? Somebody fill me in please.
Also.... Can someone please help me out on the Inuyasha front: as in when will new episodes be aired on Adult Swim and hopefully that production has NOT stopped over in Japan of the series. But, if it has, please tell me they didn't just stop in the middle of nowhere in the series. That's one of the rumors I heard but I'm hoping it's not true.

The Paper isn't in ROD the TV. At least not yet, from what I've seen. She's gone missing since the movie and hasn't even been mentioned much. Nenene was her friend, so she's been trying to find out about her absence. That's pretty much all there is to do with the movie. Everything else is new.

That's not true. The 4th movie is just some side story where Inuyasha goes to this island with Kagome and fights some random monster.
The facts about Inuyasha are this:
- the anime series ended without any resolution (the last episode was just like any other episode).
- they have stopped production of new episodes for now.
- nobody knows if they will start making new episodes or not.
- the manga is still continuing the story where the anime left off.
Now a lot of people think that they stopped the series because it caught up with the manga. The studio had the choice of either making a ton of fillers like they have been doing, or taking a break and letting the manga catch up. They decided to do the latter. So it makes sense that they'll come back later and finish Inuyasha, but nothing has been announced so nobody can say anything for sure.

Gasa, I know that they aren't hardcore otaku. Hardcore otaku are boring/creepy. Like Million for anime, except less entertaining.
I just meant that the series wasn't 100% realistic-- they slightly exaggerate the characters to liven it up, which isn't a bad thing at all.

Almost made it through the first episode of this series but couldn't do it. It doesn't bother me that two males kiss or anything it's just the fighing in this show kinda...I don't...made the shit seem corny. The one chick in this series is annoying as all fuck (not as annoying as the ads on this site are) in the beginning. It seems like a doomed romance-esque anime which is cool and all, but the fighting in it dumbed it down for me. Maybe I'll check it out again some other time but for now I'll pass.
Talking about Loveless btw.

Crusader: I thought Inuyasha = Random Monster x # of episodes
Does the manga actually go somewhere?
Well... nah, the manga is still random monster fights but not as much. Whereas the anime has 10 random monsters with nothing happening for every 1 episode with something significant, the manga has like 4 random monsters for every 1 episode with something significant. Lately the manga hasn't been going anywhere... Inuyasha got ANOTHER upgrade on his sword, but honestly that's about the only real development so far... but I don't mind too much. I like the characters so it doesn't really bother me if they sit around killing random monsters all the time, just as long as it's entertaining.
RPD: heh, no problem.

Can anybody give me some names of good animes that involve martial arts and/or sword play. I'm not into the whole mystical robot tentacle rape videos. I have a pretty small collection if you want to call it that. Some good, some bad.
Ninja Scroll (classic)
Fist of the north star
Fatal Fury series
Wrath of the ninja (talk about a suckass anime)
Samurai X and the kenshin series (95ep.)
Ninja Cadets
Naruto
Crying Feeman
I don't really care for Mech animes. But I do like a few of them. I find the Gundum ones slow and boring. I like a lot of the fast paced stuff. But I can't remember anything right now that I've seen. So if you've got some good sugestions then let me know. By the way, I saw something in the video store called "Peace Maker". Everyone appears to be carrying swords, is this a good buyers choice?

Here's a few options:
Peacemaker - Haven't seen it, but read that it's decent from review sites. By the way, you can find a lot of anime reviews here: http://www.animeondvd.com or http://www.themanime.org/index.php
Shura No Toki - Pure fighting series that features the fighters of the Mutsu clan, a group that specializes in a deadly hand-to-hand style that beats any other style of fighting, including weapons. Not deep, but fun after a fashion, has both swordplay and hand-to-hand so you get both worlds. It's about average in terms of quality.
Samurai Deeper Kyo - A swordplay anime involving a legendary and evil badass called Demon Eyes Kyo, a not very impressive bounty hunter chick, and a lot of random demons and characters. The story makes no sense(I've heard the manga is better by far), and the art is good, but they recycle a lot of things, and most fights eventually boil down to one-move kills. Overall, I'd say it's poor.
Samurai Champloo - Like Cowboy Bebop(not a surprise, since it's from the director of Bebop), this anime has a lot of everything(comedy, action, drama, zaniness). And when there is action it kicks all kinds of ass. Unlike Bebop, the primary story isn't very tight/not very good, so you may be disappointed by that, but most everyone will find something they like in this series. Overall, it's pretty solid.
Ninja Scroll(the TV series) - I'm not sure if you have this since you didn't mention whether you had the movie and the TV series when you said Ninja Scroll. The TV series is decent, though not much more than that, it has pretty good art, animation, etc, and a decent story. Overall, slightly above average.
Samurai 7(download only right now) - A pretty good show based loosely on "Seven Samurai" it's futuristic and medieval in terms of setting, kind of like Escaflowne. Has a decent story and good art/animation for the most part. Overall, above average.
Yu Yu Hakusho - You might have seen it on Cartoon Network, it's one of the classic fighting series...which is to say it's somewhat DBZish, though better in slight ways. It's about a boy who dies in the first episode...and I won't say more than that :) Overall, average.
Inuyasha - See above, though Inuyasha has cooler characters/better art and animation than Yu Yu, elevating it to above average.
Bleach(download only right now) - A swordplay/weapons anime for the most part about various fighters of evil spirits. Good art and ok animation, backing a fairly predictable story. Overall, above average.
One Piece(download only right now) - A fighting anime about a kid who wants to become the most famous pirate ever and his adventures. A pretty funny, goofy anime, with a kinda strange look, has a nice blend of humor and tons of action of both swordplay/normal/and a rubber man fighting :) Kind of a predictable story but fun. Overall, pretty solid.
The Uber-Animes of the genre:
Berserk - A medieval fantasy anime about...a lot of things actually but in short, one of the most badass characters in anime named Gatts who wields a huge blade, and his life. The initial episode shows Gatts' bleak present, and the rest of the anime portrays how things got to that point. It's much deeper than any other action anime(or pretty much any anime for that matter) around. However, the conclusion to the anime is fairly confusing for most because it only covers about half the manga, so go here for the continued story of Gatts after you've seen it(http://www.skullknight.net). Highly recommended.
Hajime no Ippo(known as "Fighting Spirit" in the US) - It's an anime about boxing that is amazingly fun, funny, touching, well-animated, has real depth, and great characters. Primarily, it's about a fairly timid kid named Makunouchi Ippo, and his finding direction in life through boxing. This would probably be classified as a sports anime, but boxing is a sport based on fighting, and again, like Berserk, it is much deeper than most anime so it's here. Highly recommended.

Wrath of the ninja is ok. NS and WN have the same tone. WN is also missing one ep in the US release.
Green Legend Ran( if you can find it )
Please Teacher ( one of the few romance anime that isn't harem.)
X TV( From the creator of NS.)
Devil Lady(Excellent show that gets no love at all. Dark show though.)
Full Metal Alchemist( Go show with a dark plot.)
Street Fighter 2V( so bad that it is good type of show "HADOU SHHOOO-RRRYYYYYYYYUUUU-KKEEEEEENNN!!!!!!!")

HitBat, that is a cool post.
OP is airing on TV, though. So I suppose the DVD releases will be out soon.
Peacemaker Kurogane is VERY WEAK on action for at least the first 9 episodes.
By the way, I saw something in the video store called "Peace Maker". Everyone appears to be carrying swords, is this a good buyers choice?
Horrible false advertising. I stopped watching the series at episode 9 because the main character still didn't have a sword. He spent all that time cleaning floors, and having flashbacks.
Samurai Deeper Kyo is hit or miss. If you like generic anime, then you should watch it.

SDK anime is trash. This is a case of great manga being turned into a shitty generic show. Someone needs to do SDK right.

I have ninja scroll the movie. The one that was released back in like 95'/96' timeframe. HitBatt, that boxing one that you mentioned. It's doesn't have to much comedy does it, because I don't like those kinds of animes. There is so much emphasis on being funny that it just disgust me sometimes. I wish I could think of something to compare the kind of comedy too that I don't like. But I can't think of any titles right now. I almost forgot, I also own "Gappler Baki" I like that one a lot, sure it's kind of shallow, but the fighting makes up for it in my opinion. I heard that there was a series out for it, but I can't seem to find anywhere to get it. Any one have any ideas?

If you want the Grappler Baki anime, it is liscenced, but you could probably hit up boxtorrents.com for it if you don't care. Season 1 is way better than season 2, but the whole thing is hilarious AND awesome just because of how ridiculous things are in trying to make the characters seem badass.
And Hajime no Ippo is #1 about boxing. It has training, awesome fights, btu the guys in it are just not-so-serious outside of the ring. They don't start screaming or anything, but they mess with each other like how someone would mess with their friends... if they were in Japan. And it is pretty realistic, too. No dark-screens and flashing lights. If you like the first few episodes, it only get better from there.

The humor isn't just slapped in Hajime no Ippo if that's what you mean, nor does it dominate the story. It's mostly about the boxing and the characters, with the humor integrated seamless into scenes, not funny for the sake of being funny. Oh and HnI basically has no filler episodes except for a few recap shows.
Forgot about FMA and X, thx HunterD and thx for the compliment Stabby.
Full Metal Alchemist - A pretty series produced by Square-Enix about the Elric brothers, primarily Edward Elric, the Full Metal Alchemist, a teenager able to use alchemy(which in this show is like magic), fighting to try and restore his brother's true body. It starts brilliantly(for the first 30 episodes or so), and ends on total crack. The action, art, and animation are pretty top notch throughout however. Overall, it's pretty solid.
X(The TV series) - A fantasy, sci-fi action series about the world's destruction or salvation, which rests in the hands of the winner between the Dragons of Heaven and Earth. Very pretty art throughout, and stunning animation...for a few scenes. Not much actual fighting in this one though, mostly energy/projectile battles, and the main character is not appealing at all to me from start to finish. Decent story. Overall, above average.

Damn, keep forgetting the ones I have since I haven't watched them in a while. I own X the movie and I really enjoyed it. I've alwasy wanted to see the series though. I heard that the series actully allows you to get involved with the characters instead of watching them all get offed in a 60 min. feature. I guess I need to get my hands on this one. Now I know that what I'm about to say completly contradicts most of the stuff that I said I don't like. But I do enjoy some comedy. I thought that some of the things that went on in "Bastard" were done pretty well as far as comedy wise. I also want to see "All Purpose Catgirl Nuku Nuku". I don't know why, but ever since I saw this sitting on the shelves at the rental store, I had always wanted to check it out. The synopis sounds pretty ok. Apparently a scientist pet cat dies and in order to save it, he puts the brain in a robot girl and it just goes from there. I'm just curious to see if she tears shit up Project Ako style.

haha, just watched genshiken in one sitting (first time). It's pretty fun, but I found myself skipping parts. Does the manga go further?
episodes 8 and 9 creep me out though ^^; (I still don't quite get 8... they just worried about her lack of respect, or is it something cultural?)
And yeah, I'd definitely go for a round vs. kohsaka
And THOSE guys are average fans? I fear. I thought the comifes thing was an exaggeration, but if the above is true... o.O
...Kohsaka is awesome.
Loveless looks like it'll be split 50/50 between the corny battles and the creepy relationships. Good enough for me, anyway.

What were 8 and 9?
The creepiest part was how Saki opened that conversation with Ohno
"OMG, Kohsaka was doing me from behind and I think he just did it so he could watch anime at the same time!"
The manga comes out in April, from Del Rey. So I guess april is this month.
The group that was doing the traslations dropped it when Del Rey liscenced it, so only chapters 1-10 exist.
But yes, the series is still going. And that really, really annoying guy actually joined the club! Along with another girl.
Ohno's chest is huge! I noticed it even before that episode where they were talking about it.

Can any Macross/Robotech fans help me out on a little info? A few weeks ago, I saw a VHS movie called Macross. Now I'm, no stranger to Robotech. I have the entire 36 ep Macross Saga
