Couldn't pick one out of all of them, probably wouldn't pick Strider or CAPCOM because I hate MVC2 (don't crucify me). After playing CFE, Mukuro is pretty badass and playing with Demitri got me into the Vampire games. But when it comes to Vampire, I do enjoy using Gallon more because he just seems cooler to me. I mean come on a werewolf with nunchaku! What's cooler than that. Pyron is pretty pimp but his sprite isn't as imposing as it should be and some of his moves are pretty lame. SF wise I like Akuma the best but I play better with Guile or Vega in most games though. Urien is just cold, regardless of the jokes one can come up with about his attire. I just started to appreciate Guy so he wouldn't come out at the top of my list.

So after all that babbling, It comes to a three way tie with Akuma, Mukuro, and Gallon.

Whoever said Chun was tops doesn't seem to remember that she's been top in maybe 6 games. My favorite character has to be Elena. She has such an awesome character design. How many other fighting game characters has a design and look as cool as hers? She is so well designed; from the way she is drawn to her fighting style to her attitude. For me the design and personality of the character is important. For instance, some well designed characters are Chun-Li, Elena, Steve Fox, Eddy Goro, Hwoarang, Dudley, Vega, King, Necro, Ryu (of course), Ken, Zangief. An example of character with really piss poor character design are all the shoto-clones i.e. Dan, Shawn, Ryo, Allen. Then all the fighters that are just so plain or so poorly thought out that you wonder if they belong in a fighting game..kina like Blue Mary, Benimaru, Oro, Kyo, Birdie, That kid on the Psycho soldies team from KOF, in fact, him and the young kid just like him that is dressed in orange. Kushnood Butt and Q and more just to name a few.

Ryu is obviously the best fighter, but I just love Megaman Zero. He looks cool, sounds cool, and has some cool moves. The Megaman Zero games are hard as hell, though. I also like Shin Akuma, CVS and SVC Chaos Bison, Chun Li, Violent Ken, Evil Ryu, Evil Sakura, Guile, SVC Chaos Demitri, Jedah, Morrigan, Hayato (the Star Gladiator guy), and Strider, but Zero will always be my favorite (Ryu's the best, though).

In my book, nobody on Capcom's SF roster will ever top Hugo. Not even Gief. Hugo's just too big and goofy not to love (and besides, Meat Squasher is so much better than Flying Powerbomb). Much love for the big man and his bitchslap of doom.

Close second would be Q. He plays exactly the way a super-cool mysterious cyborg guy in a trenchcoat should play. So satisfying to escape near-certain death by Ken or Chun-Li and then watch the big guy step on their head. :D

I'm new to the forums, And would like to say hello to all. As far as the best Capcom fighter? I'll have to go with the on efighter that started my love with fighting games. Ken. I remember the first time i seen street fighter 2 i was ordering a slice of pizza, and noticed the group of people around this one game. When i got there to watch also, i seen the Dragon punch connect on blanka. I thought right there that i had to play this, just to pull that move off, from there, it's been Ken all the way. Even though on MvsC2 He's not in my team<Capt.America,Cyclope, Capt. Commando> He's still my fav. fighter of all time.
