way late but you can keep at 'em with standing shorts and when they get pushed back away from your shorts just stick out a crouching foward.

d.MK, then d.MP, get counter hit shoryukened randomly for 2500 damage since you left a three frame gap between the two moves, but hey, it's the best Vega can do. At least you'll take people of out the air when they jump or you can just not do the d.MP after the d.MK sometimes to wait and punish people.
