I remember at that moment I was thinking that Justin was going to go for super since Daigo had no life left. But I'm sure Daigo was thinking the same and was expecting the super as well. It was a really great moment specially since I was there to witness it :). Thanks for the link...later.

I disagree. The whole set it seemed like he was toying with wong (who beat Roah I think, good shit) waiting for some shit to happen. Also, he knew Justin was charging up for her SA, and he was waiting at the best distance to parry it.

Although that was freaking sick, it was kinda lucky that Daigo was able to parry to first hit. If you watch Ken, you can see Daigo taking random steps forward. He knew that Justin was going to go for the super, but he didn't know when. If Justin had done the super a little later, like a tenth of a second later, or when Daigo was walking back, Daigo would have had to red parry like the 2nd or 3rd hit. But who knows, maybe Daigo can do that too no prob, sick bastard.

We were talking about that in IRC. Some said it was to make Daigo mess up. What? Scare Daigo into messing up those parries? Impossible.
Daigo just gained many, many more fanboys. :) I have to hand it to him though... he deserves those fanboys more than anyone else for shit like this.
And thanks for the complement, Lovely Kitsune.

I don't think you can say Daigo was toying with Justin. Justin had him beat and made a mistake at the end. Unless Daigo really does have psychic powers, how would he know that Justin is going to full screen SA II for chip and not do something else. Hell, not super, and just continue turtling some more?
Anyway, top Evo moments list goes like this:
1) Evo 2k3 EC vs WC Soomighty owning J.Wong
2) Evo 2k4 Daigo parrying SA II, sj air parry into death owning J.Wong
3) Ino winning 2k3 CvS2.
Justin probably owns the next 7 spots from owning people in MvC2, so I doubt he feels that bad.

Nah, Chun's SAII isn't fast as it seems, and is relatively easy to get a parry on the first hit if you practice. Hell, you can go back, and then forward for the parry. So he could have hit forward after the super freeze when he was stuck in walk animation.

I'm not sure if you went to Evo but Daigo was taunting Justin several times during the rounds before THE MADNESS occurred. Hell, Daigo even stood still while Justin was repeatedly jumping away and whiffing attacks for meter. If that doesn't seem like toying, then the match after THE MADNESS occurred looked like it: Daigo almost perfects Wong one round and beasts on him the second round. But then, I think Justin's confidence had probably already taken a huge drop after THE MADNESS and didn't have the heart to continue on...

personally, i feel daigo was toying with him.
the whole 3rd round seemed like a setup for that legendary finish.
and as someone mentioned, daigo was taunting justin after every super (yea yea its a "power up" but no one really does it unless they seriously wanna fuck with the other person). daigo also stood still at many points in the match watching justin run away and build meter.

Nevertheless, he still gets over $1000 a year for winning Marvel and placing high in other games, which is a fair trade for all his ownages... Cat's still got my respect as well for getting that far yearly.

It's my experience that you can't parry the super after the flash. You have to inpute before the super comes out. And if you look carefully you can see Ken go into his forward walk animation right before the super.

I don't get why people who see Ken taunt make it a big deal out of it. Ken gets a quick power boost after a taunt. After a SA3 in the corner, it's safe to taunt...just part of strategy. And Daigo standing still during the match wasn't his way of toying with Justin, it was his way of showing his frustration of playing a turtler like justin. He was just trying to get him to attack...if justin would have dashed in, he wouldn't have stayed standing there.

Yes, it looks like a pause b/c chun li wiffs one of her kicks. When her SAII connects or is blocked, it does 8 hits, 8 hits, 1 hit. When it is parried in corner, it does 8 hits, 8 hits, 1 hit. When it is parried midscreen, it does 7 hits, 7 hits, 1 hit. However, the timing of the parries within the 7 do not change, just the number of times you have to parry.
As for having to hit foward before the freeze screen, it depends on where she is.

I don't know what you mean by the flash. What I meant was that I parry after the gray filter turns off. I can't parry before the super's activation because the game will register that I am walking and not parrying.

Watch the vid again, you can see Daigo's Ken move slightly forward right before the super, and then he freezes in his step during the super flash.
Daigo taunts a lot after he lands a super. Sometimes he doesn't just to get better position, but oftentimes he does no matter who the opponent is.
Everyone could tell that Daigo was positioning himself to parry the super. Justin sure knew that. He just didn't think Daigo would actually be able to pull that shit off. Big props to Daigo for pulling that stuff off in the heat of a losers final tourney match.

Daigo luckily moved forward at that instant to get the first parry. Once you get the first parry then the rest comes ez with practice.
Had Justing charged the super after the mk trade then he would've won.

Trust me the Japanese are used to any tactic be it rush down or run away (aka building meter).
The Japanese just aren't used to sitting in angles and using consoles. PERIOD. KO was asked why he doesn't play 3s on console and his response was "it sucks."

Just to chime in: While it's not really possible to tell if that step forward Daigo did was specifically a parry attempt before the super freeze, it's possible to parry the first hit of Houyo before or after the freeze. It's even possible to parry Shippu after the super freeze, and it's one frame faster. Not easy - by any stretch - but possible.

i felt there was no strategetic value for him taunting other than to try and get a reaction, he was getting pissed himself, and you can always power up outside of hitting distance.
if there was strategy to it, he wouldn t be doing it to everyone and eating free supers, but thats probably controlled too(i m not sucking cock, its just you had to watch all his matches to relize how much control he has in the game, maybe to make justin use meter, who knows).
everything stupid he did was on purpose, daigo can play clean as hell its not even funny, its cause he CAN play clean as hell everyone is saying he s toying with justin.
i have no doubt in my mind even losing the second round in that match was on purpose to set something like that up in the end, c mon, who the fuck does a 99% blockable dp in the corner against a turtler? he knows better. i remember 1 match he did nothing but crouching mk into dps without hit confirming, after seeing daigo in real life, he definetly hit confirms on reaction(with lil practice, low mk lasts long as hell), it seems he cancels into it when he doesn t really care to play a clean game.
as for daigo standing still multiple times in the match, in my opinion its more the "you ain t shit, do something", not "i m pissed, you come to me".

oooooooooh shit. =/
WHOA
1) to combo the whole thing is insane
2) to setup for the finish is insane
3) the pressure he deals with is insane
It's INSANE
I don't know exactly how the first part of the match went, but I figure Justin was playing an irritating style. Daigo's style does seem a little too aggressive (he seems mad) to be down so much (not to say he didn't know what he was doing).
BUT here's the thing: 1) he WAS NOT stepping back and forth to parry - it was to get the distance he needed. Notice he moves according to Chun's movements. And 2) notice he stopped attacking after he realized he downed Justin's energy just enough to kill with his finish combo! Another words, he KNEW what he was going to happen at that point and what he was going to do about it!
If I had to guess, I'd say Justin in a sense gambled -- dared Daigo to try to parry the super... because Daigo's super wasn't charged (correct me if I'm wrong folks) and there wasn't a huge risk involved - or so he thought. I mean, WHO would've thought?!

First off, that shit was freakin sick. First time I saw it I was like WOW, freakin Daigo = god.
All these people giving like what they would have done. Nope, they would have done the same stuff in that situation. You cant say Justin Wong sucks or should feel bad or like shit after getting full special parried. Cause he was playin Daigo so you cant really say anything cause Daigo would have probably owned you even harder.
Last, some people are saying its luck or he was positioning himself in the best place. No, cause I know for a fact he can do it anywhere, and at anytime. If anyone would have gone to the pre-EVO tourny at FFA you would have seen that first hand. Cause he parried the same special at the tourny. But the guy came in MK down into special, Daigo parried it all till half way of the special and just MK, Hadoken, special.
Props to Justin for at least ranking top 3. I'm glad America didnt get owned.
But Japanese didnt do so great and werent total ownage because the things were on console. Thats my theory.

I wonder why Justin didn't charge for 5 more sec for a ex fireball into a super..
Maybe the initial fireball frame would give away his plan a split second faster, and he chose not to do that, but I think a super freeze already give Daigo enough time to react, so not much of a diff to add a ex fb into the mix. It'd make the super harder to parry.

At that distance, you can parry after the flash. Any closer and he would have had to parry before.

I'm glad someone mentioned that. I asked why Justin did a full screen SA II yesterday in #srkgd, I figured it was for chip but I also thought it was way too risky. Viscant answered why though. Justin apparently just forgot the EX fireball. He beat Raoh with the EX fireball into super because that screwed up his parry timing. Against Daigo Justin for some reason just forgot to do it or didn't think he needed to. Thats why I mentioned before Justin made a mistake. Maybe Daigo parries even with the EX fireball, I dunno, maybe he doesn't. Jay said they're saving this type of stuff for the DvD so if you get the DvD you'll know why certain things are done and not done.

: and the way justin plays

: oh yea also if daigo is THAT GOOD that he can toy with JUSTIN WONG in the semi finals then how come he lost to KO?

the bottom line is I doubt that Daigo was toying with Justin for the fact that Daigo very well could have died from that hit that brought him down to a pixel of life. If he was playing him, he must have really been able to predict just how much Justin could have taken away from his life bar. Even if that shit was all for show, he pulled off a perfect preformance, it could not have been coreographed better had Justin been in on it.
bottom line again, Daigo is a beast and he showed his fangs at evo.

while we will never know, it's probably a combination of both. to me it was more like "fuck you, i don't wanna play anymore"
When I say daigo standing still, watching justin build meter, i was like "wtf are you doing, you're losing"
justin could have easily stood still from a safe distance and "taunted" him back cuz he was winning buy a huge margin.

couldn't agree more, if you know alot about the game...you know Daigo was not toying with him. And you also would not underestimate the skills of Justin. I was at Fubarducks house the other night, and he said Japan players said if Justin Wong went to Japan, he would still be a top player. Maybe even the best Chun there...I mean come on guys, he beat Raoh, and Kokujin. Can Daigo play around with Raoh and Kokujin when he plays against them? No he can't. So why would he toy with someone better than them?

Evo2k2: Justin gets perfected TWICE in the 5 on 5, by Mester and Tokido.
Evo2k3: Soo turns Justin into a training dummy in one of the craziest Marvel matches in history.
Evo2k4: Needing only a tiny bit more damage to win the set (being up 1-0), Justin busts out a random Chun-Li super which to his (and everyone's) surprise, is completely parried by Daigo, who not only parries the whole thing, but jumps up and parries the last hit to perfectly set him up for a combo that does just enough to beat him. Daigo comes back to win the set.
Next time everyone sees Justin, make sure to shake his hand and thank him for all these great moments at Evolution

I wasn't actually there to see the entire match, but from seeing the end of that match, this is what I can gather:
It would be RIDICULOUS for someone of Daigo's calibur to accidentally put himself in a range to get chipped to death by Chun's SA2. He was putting lots of pressure on Justin until he fell a distance away from Chun-Li. From there, everything he did gave it away that he INVITED the super on purpose. Hence, he planned to parry the super, and in that sense, he was 'toying' with Chun.

actually you know what? watching the whole match again and again...1st and 2nd round, daigo seems to be playing "normal". just second round he does more reckless shit than usual.
3rd round, this is where the clowning begins, heres a play by play
at 97 seconds, justin does back-upward jumping fierce X 2, daigo does standing mp. both followed up with other safe pokes from farther than sweep distance. at 91 seconds, justin is throwing safe pokes while daigo stands completely still, the crowd responds with laughter. he walks lil forward and stands completely still again till 88 seconds, then daigo does a UOH and justin replies with a low mk into super, basic air follow up with daigo landing in corner blocking a close roundhouse on wake up.
justin spaces a lil and does low lk while daigo is in air doing mk, justin tries to jump away but gets hit, daigo stands in the same spot he lands from landing the mk for full second, back dash, forward dash, stands still again. moves a lil round now and at max sweep distance, whiffs a low mk, justin is still making it clear the low mk into super threat is there and has a bar.
at 71 seconds, daigo goes in at heel of the low mk distance and does low lk, low mk, justin blocks. daigo comes back in to probably do the same, justin low mk into super.
from the corner, daigo does EX fireball to space distance, justin comes back in and squeezes a low mk with no bar. at 57 seconds, daigo stands still again till 54 seconds when he does low RH from sweep distance. justin closes in, daigo backs up and low mk to distance again. daigo then starts to push justin towards the corner and hits him with EX fireball. from the corner they exchange small pokes followed by a tech. justin does a low mk while daigo does EX fireball landing him again. justin blocks a low lk and is thrown. couple blocks to justin, then daigo goes forward to throw when justin is in air over ken's hair getting out of corner. justin eats low mp on land and daigo follows up with 2 EX fireballs, the last of his meter. justin whiffs a few times and keeps his distance, super, parry, cool ending.

That short, less-than-a-minute video clip has inspired me to get back into 3rd Strike.
Seriously! I just ordered the 4-disc EVO2002/2003 DVD set today mainly because of this clip, and can't wait for the EVO2004 DVD to come out. Never again will I miss an EVO!

Damn everyone loves seeing me lose.
I admit Daigo deserves that shit, but how come every1 rubs it in.
EVOL2K2 Me vs Japs.
EVOL2K3 Me vs Soo
EVOL2K4 ME vs Daigo
EVOL2K2 I got into team USA by accident. I didn't expect myself to beat the Americans and qualify but it was a fun experience and I don't mind getting raped but I hate when people just rubs it in.
EVOL2K3 I got owned by Soo
But no one wants to mention the money match I had with Soo at the console room.
EVOL2K4 Daigo got me and he parry SA2. Thats good shit. Daigo is a beast. But no one wants to talk about other matches on how other people lost in marvel, st, cvs2, 3s, ggxx, etc.
Always have to be Jwong got served.

I hope you dont let the envy of too many players get to you. You get a lot of respect from being on the top, and also a lot of hate. Your shit gets a lot of spotlight, good or bad. Maybe its just the rut of nobody being able to top you yet, that makes people so spiteful.
I personally would only care about seeing you being beaten by one person, being myself. Just that attitude to always get better... just more harsher because youre on top (and some people are assholes). Youre just as "untouchable" as the Japanese, except youre American, so suddenly that genetic superiority goes away so everyone just disses on you.
I wouldnt be too concerned about those 3 examples of you getting served. Cmon, when youre in the spotlight, you get nailed for everything man, welcome to being popular. You still get the win. (though one of these days, watch out!)

they are haters. Yes it was tight, no reason to bash wong though. He is still the top fighting games player in the us.
Justin Wong moments.
B5: Jwong invented the rushdown in mvc2. No one knew how to get in with Magneto until Justin showed em how. Everyone complains how Justin runs away a lot, but back at b5, he was the only one rushing down. Nobody could handle it.
Evo2002: Very first 3rd strike exhibition match. Jwong vs KSK. And JWong wins. East coast styles. The crowd went nuts. Top 8 finals match vs Sin, game 3. Justin turned into a beast. Snapback, resets on commando. Crowd goes crazy.
Evo2003: Jwong vs Mago in CvS2. Even though Justin lost this match, Justin opened up everyone's eyes and showed that the japanese are not invincible in this game.
Evo2004: Justin places top 8 in every single Capcom game. The best overall Capcom game player.
I really don't get what's behind all the Justin hating. He was USA best chance against Japan and he still got booed??

Dunno, really. Do you get booed at East Coast tournaments? Of course local crowds are hostile to outsiders.
Lot of history of crowds at fighting game tournaments not acting so well. Ricky Ortiz at ECC6 comes to mind. Plenty of other examples, no real need to get into them all.
Also why bother reading message boards for everyone's opinion? Five people can represent a majority opinion. It's not even an opinion you really have to stand behind, because no one can get in your face.

I think it was just the comeback that got to everyone. I thought it was over for Daigo but he pulled one of the best comebacks in the tourny. I didn't really care if you lost.
Wow, that was hot. I have even more respect for Daigo now, heheh. I'd like to see him using Chun Li. If you can parry every single hit like that, it's obvious you have working knowledge of her moves and such. *damns her friend for breaking her 3S* ><
And I agree with Cell. It IS funny, how as soon as Jwong posts, people are like "Damn Jwong, you still the man!" when only a post earlier they were like "Oh, SHIIT! Jwong got pwned!" Kinda double faced, don't cha think? If anything, it's more like sympathy towards the loser of the match. Something along the lines of "Hey man, I still respect you (Heh, you still got your ass owned tho)!"
I'm not hating on Jwong or anything, but to the people who were saying one thing one moment, then kissing ass by saying the complete opposite another, stop bandwagoning. A simple "Sorry for the shit-talking" would suffice. Not buttering up.
And if you lost, you lost. Don't try to buffer it with "Well, damn. I won this and that, though." No matter how many times you win, the losses are STILL going to be there. Don't try to save face by trying to bringing up your victories. As the guy that people are "aiming" to beat, when ownage like this happens with the person losing, people are going to be ALL over it. It's like the media. When something bad happens, it'll be the center of everything. Notice nothing like that happens, when something good happens. And besides, that was quite monumental. You've got THE SF name, THE SF game, and THE biggest comeback I've ever seen happen all at once. Save for Justins comebacks in MVC2, I've never seen anything so fast ever.
Anyways, my two cents towards the hater, Jwong and losses.
Edit~ And WHO was that commentor? Sounded so monotone, even when celebrating.

Not really.. both statements are true. He IS the man, undisputed MvC2 champ and placing high in other games. But he also got his ass owned HARD by Daigo. Priceless!

It's just the general public and how they perceive entertainment really Mr. Wong. As much as you think it is that people like to see you lose, it's simply this odd form of entertainment that's become acceptable over the past few years (thanks to the likes of reality television).
That may sound a bit far fetched, but I think it makes sense. To the general public, winning just isn't entertaining, especially in the light of your accomplisments. Sticking around to see your losses is just the negativity that somehow manages to become a positive to those that are just watching on the side lines and tagging along.
Who cares though. Shit happens.

Daigo and Justin were all over the boards in this year's Evo, that's all I gotta say. Two great players... so of course if the two of them face it's gonna be some badass stuff. With Daigo, what else is there to say? It takes huge balls to do something like that when the pressure is that heavy. Yeah sure people do that casually in an arcade every now and then, but in a tourney scene when everyone's watching... big balls. Yipes.
And Justin, don't worry about the sympathy, the win, or the loss. What makes you and a lot of the other people who go to Evo great is not the winning, but the will to win and become better. You played a great match in 3s and I'm sure you played great in a lot of other games to place so high. And I want you to practice your ass off in the off-season so you can kick more ass next year. Rematch, dag nabbit! Hi-calibre matchups like these are pure gold.

lol, he already answered your question in his post. hundreds of people watching you, hundreds of dollars on the line, possibly his PRIDE on the line, a TOURNAMENT MATCH that determines the winner. I can't express how much PRESSURE is involved in a TOURNAMENT match. Yes, Daigo has the biggest balls out of everyone.

that I have to agree with, and if you look at it from the beginning, it appeared that Justin owned Diago in the beginning part of the match, hence to be far enough ahead for what Diago did to be considered a come back.

Here's the deal. Justin is the best in MvC2 and there is no arguement about it. He attained 4 MvC2 championships, has never lost an MvC2 tourney. He is the Michael Jordan of MvC2.
But as far as other games, Justin is the Tim Duncan of everything else. What I mean by that is that he has great execution, and plays like a professional, but is boring as fuck to watch. How he plays is very mechanical: he does what he is supposed to do, knows all the tactics and executes them perfectly (which is his advantage), but the thing is that it is so bland to see the same thing over and over, I can't stand it, esp with 3rd Strike. It's like he is all tactics and no style in strategy. And turtling is so painful I'd just leave before the match ends. He always places in top 5 of any CvS2 or 3rd Strike tourneys, so he has been consistent on his game.
I don't hate Justin at all. I saw him at the Last Stand in Gainesville and he is a nice guy. He talks to strange people whom he doesn't know and is polite to them. His execution is exemplary, is very patient, and can adapt very fast. Basically, he has the skills that a good player needs.
It is a shame he is a part of the Empire, though. He deserves all the credit and winnings, not some gay ass Empire with a dude running it who tries too hard to be professional.
As far as that match, like I said, it isn't hating on Justin, it is praising Daigo.

what's up with everyone hyping things? justin's a great player, and i still stand on my word as him being US's #1 3Ser. at the heat of the moment (keep in mind the setting and situation), he probably choked and underestimated things (to ease his mind) and did something that, in retrospect, wasn't the greatest move.
daigo on the other hand, performed very impressively, and props should definitely be given. however, that has nothing to do with wong-bashing.
but in any event, the reason things like these get all the attention is because it isn't the norm. you don't celebrate things that are normal or expected. no one really goes WOW when brazil takes another world cup. soo could never stand up to justin, but what happened last year was surprising. that's why everyone hugged his nuts...it's not the normal thing that would've happened. justin still raped him

i'm not going to go into this whole debacle again. he's the #1 rated player. i don't really give a rat's ass about who is better than who. we can go back and forth about who beats who 1on1, but there are so many variable elements that it doesn't even matter. the only thing that counts is tournament placement, and as far as that goes, justin is #1.

Wait...what kind of whack definition of #1 do you have? You become #1 with wins, not for playstyle. If you want to be entertained, go watch Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. If you want to see high level SF3 play, then watch Justin and other top players play. Don't confuse one with the other.

you're right... this isnt worth going over again... but im still gonna say what i feel nonetheless
Whoever said Wong is #1 in USA at 3s - heat of the moment or not I do not see wong as the best in USA at 3s at all his chun li is boring style not even fun to watch its just so dry. It gets him wins ill give him that but I do not think its best in USA material
people dont win by entertaining you... thats what casual and exhibition is for

Japanese thought me, justin, and vic would be the strongest american team yet for the next SBO.

Wait...what kind of whack definition of #1 do you have? You become #1 with wins, not for playstyle. If you want to be entertained, go watch Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. If you want to see high level SF3 play, then watch Justin and other top players play. Don't confuse one with the other.
Ill stick to watching Japanese vids thanks :).
Its only my opinion just overall of his style If I don't like it so much then fine no need for flames. I know hes good Im just saying hes not the best.

As far as I had seen George P was the best overall in the USA most people said last time.
Hsien was the best before him apparently but times changed.
Ortiz plays a much better chun li than wongs too.

Isn't it obvious? KO is the best, because he won.

I think he means best in USA.
KO Is best in world heh:D.
I can understand how some people don't like Justin's style of playing Chun-li, but he's doing it for the WIN. If your going for the win, you do what you got to do. And that style just suits Chun-li perfectly imho.
In casual, Justin can play just about everybody. I've seen him streak with Hugo. And he doesn't turtle either.
It's easy to judge him by just watching a few clips from tourney.
One final thing.
Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Statistically speaking, the best SF3 player has yet to be determined. I guess you can say Justin since he has more tourney wins, but pyrolee has been known to be the dominator. They should really settle this in an official match. There was the casual in which pyrolee won, but there hasn't been any confirmation if there were stakes involved (money, bragging rights, etc), which could possibly mean sandbagging. But I say that pyrolee won because everyone knew that this was going to be an anticpated matchup and to sandbag the games would have been gay.

lol,Why are people saying Justin got owned? He didnt. You see Daigo's HP compared to Justins? It was just a come back. Haters just need something to hate on.
And you guys didnt even see was when he was doing money matches on MvC2 with low tiers and still won. He beat SooMighty (from what I heard) with Rogue/xxx/Cyclopes. If that isnt enough of an ownage versus Soo's MSS/MSP,then I dont know what is.
Edit - Also, during Evo,Justin was playing on 3S with Yun. He was doing MAJOR come backs. He had less than 5% HP left with Yun and he still came back with people have more than 1/2 HP..

Ortiz plays a much better chun li than wongs too. How can you say that when Justin beat ricky's Chun with his own at MWC, and beat him at ECC too, not sure if he used Chun or Ken there.
Best in the world? Truthfully I'd probably say K.O. Boss, Daigo, RX, and Spellmaster J are really good too.
I'm not into tournie play and shit, but after I saw that parry vid, it was lol city.

what's up with everyone hyping things? justin's a great player, and i still stand on my word as him being US's #1 3Ser. at the heat of the moment (keep in mind the setting and situation), he probably choked and underestimated things (to ease his mind) and did something that, in retrospect, wasn't the greatest move.
daigo on the other hand, performed very impressively, and props should definitely be given. however, that has nothing to do with wong-bashing.
but in any event, the reason things like these get all the attention is because it isn't the norm. you don't celebrate things that are normal or expected. no one really goes WOW when brazil takes another world cup. soo could never stand up to justin, but what happened last year was surprising. that's why everyone hugged his nuts...it's not the normal thing that would've happened. justin still raped him
i know what's up with all the wong bashing.

Our match was at the FFA World Championships of 3s tournament, it was legit. Shogo is going to post the vid soon.
I dont think justin would sandbag for a $300 pot.
Justin's losses were to Daigo then to Me. He plays chun-li really well and I respect him for that. Especially cause he turned out to be a cool guy in person and not a jerk that everyone makes him out to be on the forums.
Next year I think it would be great if he could be on a team with me for SBO. His chun-li footsie style is really similar to japanese chun.

it is confirmed that justin had trouble with the FFA sticks.
it's also safe to say that evo had the bigger pot.

I wonder if you would have defended me if I had gone to ecc9 and said I had a problem with the sticks
And how much did he win for 3rd place? Oh yeah, like 300 dollars or less? I guess he would rather win the same amount of money at evo rather than winning both pots... smart guy
C'mon exodus grow a brain! But sadly there's no point explaining anymore, the top players play the games and the losers like you make up the theory fighter.
Hope you get that genei-jin down one of these days.

I just keep watching that vid over and over...that was a comeback for the ages, and then Daigo finished it with Shippuu Jinrai Kyaku...too damn good.
Both players are badass, but Daigo definitely earned that one.
