Ive never said my Mag was beasty and that I mastered Storm's hk infinite..lol I can do it but I mean its like almost impossible to pull it in a fight nah what I meant is Im learn9ng Storm right now so I need new combos and yeah Im pretty good but on console only not on arcade I can do anything on ps2 controller and on dc controller(even Mag's rom infinite) without the dash button or any kind of shortcut just with the default controls...on arcade I miss like half of my combos and I have a hard time dashing lol so you would probably own me for free, and I dont know if youve ever seen me I have though I remember seeing you do9ng some resets with Storm at M.A.T das the only thing I remember from you but I didnt play that day

We had three cars going to Toronto, by far the most Montreal players going to a tournament in a long time.

Car 1 "Brood Crew": Veasna, Victoire, Rene, Sopheak, Temujin (honorary member!).

Car 2 "The 160km/h Crew": Phoun, William, Prez, Fred.

Car 3 "The Cup Of Life Crew": Seb, Alex, me.

Samnang and his friend took the bus to Toronto.

Road Trip to T.O. highlights:
-Deciding to stay up the night before so I could sleep in the car, it's impossible to sleep more than 2 hours in a car.
-Stopping off for food in a random small Ontario village where everybody knows each others names.
-Seb deciding he is going to play like a hippie in CvS2. Use hippie looking characters, play p-groove and only parry. No violence.
-Alex shouting French obscenities while ordering food at Subway since nobody spoke French.
-Listening to "Music Of The World Cup France 98" and blasting Ricky Martin - The Cup Of Life.
-Alex sticking his head out the window and screaming at cars or staring at people in cars.
-Getting to T.O. and asking for directions to Pacific Mall at a gas station, getting specific directions from a random guy and then see him getting in a company van of a company that designs maps of Toronto, too good.
-Driving down Younge street to P-Mall, did you know it is the longest street in the world? It goes all the way to Alaska (Herny knowledge).
-Finally arriving at our destination.

First night T.O. highlights:
-Getting to Orbit and meeting the TOSF crew again and all the other people from SRK.
-Shouting for Montreal players in the CvS2 / 3S team tournaments.
-Prez stealing Gordon from the team of Ken and Dennis.
-Leaving Orbit at closing time and then having this ultra random black guy follow us around until we got outside. Nobody knew who he was, but somehow he ended up sleeping in our motel room.
-Going to Country Style for food at 4AM, too funny.
-Everybody beasting on the random black guy in French.
-Seb playing footsies on the floor with the random black guy when everybody was sleeping.

Second day/night T.O. highlights:
-Everybody beasting on the random black guy in French in the morning.
-Eating top tier food for lunch at P-Mall (thanks Xiao!).
-Phoun ordering #60 but the lady at the restaurant understood #16.
-Having fun playing and watching the CvS2 / 3S tournaments throughout the day.
-William filming hot fob girls in P-Mall.
-Beasting the same restaurant we ate lunch at.
-Unlimited Night at Orbit, too good.
-Watching Rene prove he is a hacker in Gunbound.
-Watching Rene prove he is a hacker in Counter-Strike.
-Watching Rene prove he is a hacker in WarCraft.
-Samnang winning MvC2!
-Leaving Orbit for the night, seeing the ultra random black guy waiting outside. Rushing back inside Orbit and coming out five minutes later and seeing him talking with another group of people while they were leaving, suckers!
-Replacing random black guy with Reagan.
-Waiting at Burger King.
-Getting to the hotel room and just chilling.

1st Match : Alex parrying his way to win the first match.
2nd Match : Alex still parrying like a beast but then ,being very cocky, fools around a little which gives Veas the opportunity to make a great comeback and wins the 2nd Match.

A while ago I asked Chris to talk to the boss about fixing the machines for a tournament and the boss didn't really care.

Maybe he will say something different now, but the only game we can have a tournament for at 2000+ is CvS2. It's the only fighting game with good sticks.

Now that JM Amusement is closed and Daniels is long gone, 2000+ might be the best place to hold the next best tournament. Good location, large arcade, right in the heart of downtown.

If and when we decide to do M.A.T. II we should definitely try to hold it at 2000+. Somehow we have to convince the boss to atleast put Perfect-360 sticks on the major games, and replace some really shitty buttons.

I could try to speak with the boss since he knows me from working at JM Amusement, but if someone else knows the boss better they should bring it up.

Apart from cvs2, forget about the other games... cause the 3rd strike machine is fucking wack at 2000, and I dunno about the mvc2 machine, but if I recall wel, its fucking garbage as well...and if im right, then M.A.T. is gonna fuckin suck, as it will be only cvs2 and maybe ggxx, but I think that machine sucks as well.

*IF* the 2000+ owner(s) replace the 3S sticks with Perfect-360s and de-magnify the screen then it will be like the Mira cabinet. I don't play MvC2 so I don't really know if that cabinet is good or not.

But yeah, big tournaments at Mira = chair deprivation and over crowdedness.

I was talking about all games actually. When I'm at 2000+ I always see so many people playing GGXX and MvC2, even though they might be scrubs they still count as people. The only game that gets no love at 2000+ is 3S. Lots of SvC and SC2 players also.

3S is probably my favorite game, but nobody plays it at 2000+. I have no choice but to play CvS2.

If I or we decide to organize MAT II we will actually be able to have a tournament for almost every game since there are so many challengers at 2000+ (regardless of skill level).

I was at 2000+ today but the boss wasn't there so I didn't bother asking the workers. I'll let you guys know what the boss says about holding a large tournament during the middle of winter.

Every single time I go to 2000+ Karamba is there (usually with his black friend..). He's like the most devoted CVS2 player ever.. even at Trix he use to go everyday. I'm happy for him though cause he use to never ever win against us but now he could own almost everyone.

Is Capcom Fighting Jam coming out in america ? I already picked my team it's gonna be Rose/Sakura. Alpha mode is the only one with custom and if you look at history Custom bars always ended up being dominant in games even though they seem weak at first (A2, A3, CVS2).

Regarding MAT2.. tons of people will come regardless whether it's at mira or 2000+. People look for an excuse to come to montreal and I'm sure all of Ottawa and many peeps from Toronto and maybe even the States will come. I think we should definetly do it at 2000+, CVS2 is fine and 3S is still good compared to the sticks at T5. Don't worry I don't care about not having A3 I'm sick of running tourneys anyway I'd rather just have fun at 2000+ and I'm sure everyone feels the same. Maybe for the 5 on 5 or money games we can have those at Mira on friday.
