Here is the droppers / bad games thread. It's back, and moderated like ever before.

all he did was turtle and roll everytime my K Gauge turned Red plus he has a cheap Honda too, also his Raiden is terrible always jumping around and shit, i didn't even see a 360 attempt, a green spit and a charging drop-kick, i heard his Raiden was good by others but personally i think it's trash since i didn't even see him do the common moves, how he got the A Grade was by scrubbiness and if i ever found out who he is, i'll tear his liver and eat it raw and i might just do it for a snack

I always rat in all my games unless it is countered good or traps are set for me, I do this against all the top players on SRK, The difference is they dont moan about this shit cause they are genuinly class players that can deal with most situations. Most people that moan are usually shity, remember a bad work man always blames his tools. I can understand if its lagged to fuck, I cant rat or hardly do any moves when the conn is bad, But I usually sit the game till the end or drop during char select screen or the first 10 secs of play. If you want jin play me and try to rat me as much as you like, I will counter you so good that you will probably :crybaby: cry.

I think the biggest beef with rollers tho, is a lot of people are striving to become better at the game. Then the competition they are faced with are people who dont know about footsies and etc. They just roll everywhere. Lag makes it worse to counter rolling, you should be finding more sucess in lag Bass as it is a lag tactic. But Ren, what Bass says is also true. If you cannot counter rolling, you need to learn to do so. Instead of moaning about it, just try to become fast at reacting to it. I still cant punish Bass most times he tries to roll into something, I usually get a tech. Damn I wish I could, but I dont play many rollers so Im not too fast at reacting to it. Ren it is something you will improve on the more you face it tho.

As for my beef with rollers, I just think if you play the game you should want to be good at it. Roll tactics dont = skill imo. Learning your combos, strings and footsie game is where you need skill. That takes time.

The reason I only use one button is because I am one of the worlds only one armed CvS2 player, I use a ps2 pad so this gives me control of the D-pad and 2 shoulder buttons, which I keep as HP and TAUNT. The next step after this will be to learn to play using my right foot aswell as my left hand, this should give me more buttons to play with. It's true many live players have been OCV'd by a OBV with my blanka. Some think I am mad for choosing one of my only 2 buttons as TAUNT, But I like to kick ass and scratch my ass at the same time. You mother fucks better watchout cause if I cant use my right foot effectivly I am gonna slap the four face buttons with my dick to get some combos in. On the whole though I think I play better with one button than most scubs on live do using 6, if you get beat by me its cause I am your daddy. :clap:

Lag tactics do exist SZ. Simple things are that you cannot always block crossups in lag, cant antiair properly, block overheads and can get ratted or raxed so much easier. Those are basic, so imagine all of the things that are so much more difficult to defend against on Live.

Damn dude, I wouldn't say that. I like playing you because you don't leave the ground a lot... like you're supposed to play... but I remember when you were raged in K with Joe... and did his flying kick from across screen... and as soon you landed you did a super. In a real offline game I would have A) Just supered or DPed you out of the kick, B)Parried that shit and combo'd into super, or C)Just block it and hit you anyway. That's a lag tactic right there... it feels just as bad as when you block some scrub's special in P-Groove, and then as you go to punish you get super canceled on. Lag tactics are things that ONLY work because of the delay, hence people's need to jump up with a roundhouse, and land into super... offline that works like once or twice in awhile... but almost 100% of the time you're gonna get punished on the way down.

Just my 2 cents.
