Man, the lack of a mp button really limits your mix up/high and low options...aboot time someone's doing something about that 3s machine.

And good games to Rey and Jamie on Monday at Mohawk.
(despite the fact that I played on the "crappy" side the entire time! What the hey? You damn hoggers! ;) )
I rarely play 3rd Strike but I find myself improving at a pretty quick rate the more I play it.

Oh yea, we could've play another game, Rey...I wen't back to the Cove to get my pop and noticed that there was another credit in there...

Vince, my boy, I won't make it to casual on Saturday...
But I'll go to EG only if someone'll be there...

Just as reminder that I'll be at Eastgate on Saturday around 1:00pm - 5:30pm for casual or possibly a small tourney/round robin if there are enough people. I've got a housewarming that evening right up the street and figured kill two birds with one stone.

You must have never had good pho in your life. Pho 88 is the biggest peice of shiet Pho restaurant in the known world. If you're gonna go anywhere in TO for pho, it's gotta be Pho Hung or Pho Sai Le (sp?). They are both on Spadina, Pho Hung is towards College Street if you're looking from Pho 88, and the Pho Sai Le is towards the highway outta town. My spelling is ass, but Pho Sai Le is the one with the green sign right at the corner.

Just don't eat at pho 88. Chinese people couldnt' make good pho if they're daughters virginity depended on it.

pho 88.....yeah....kinda messed up....all I remember is going there one time with some friends...somebody ordered chicken and they ended up getting shimp...but I've eaten there a few times...and survived...

mvc2 is messed up at EG....u can still play...but it will most likely freeze on you....I just tell the arcade lady that i'm gonna reset the machine and play at my own risk....so far they've been ok with it

Hmm... it's been a long time since I last had Pho. In fact, last time was that kick ass place in London where I got the HUGE Curry Chicken dish. OH MY GOD! Anyway I don't know the name so I can't really pimp it much.

Teddy; you live on res now. You will find someone who will give you a fake ID. You will also discover all the tricks to getting into places you're not legally supposed to if you keep your eyes and ears open (instead of ignoring everyone like usual). :tup:

Have any of you guys actually asked the arcade lady to put the MvC2 machine on the repair list as yet? I can only assume that CvS2 is working fine so we'll probably play a lot of that but I was hoping for MvC2 competition.

Hey everyone. I'm off of work on Thursday and Friday. I got some passport shit to do, and it's the first day of the NFL season. (Should be an International Holiday IMO) So I'm probably gonna be kicking around. If anyone is gonna be at EG or at Slowhawk, I'll scoot up for some games. Just tell me the time. The only reason I was going to EG on saturday was because Justin was coming. No disrespect to Nam, but I could really care less if I play him or not. And with Jamie coming back home, it just makes it a bonus. Too bad Rey couldnt make it, damn work. Why does that shit always seem to get in the way.

I'm guessing that no one is gonna be around to play some games during the week. I'm free Thursday and Friday until about 8pm. So if you guys wanna play, just show up to EG. If not, it will just be me and whatever pilon is gonna be there.

Excellent 3s today at Slohawk. ENDED the streak of Rey's Sean which was my higlight of the day then it went down hill from there. Didnt bother playing Rey after that since he brought out some god-oro. Amazing matches vs Jamie today. And as usual lil vanny has to talk how he hates 3s. Didnt get to vs Mario and had a shitty match vs Vince which i tried to rush since i was gonna be late for class. Other than that was all good (need to jump in less..)

--Need to stop falling for Mario's Alex stun gun headbutt in 3S, although at the very least, I'm not quite as panicky as I was before at 3S and am better at stopping throws
--Aaron has a winning record over me in SvC(1-0)...like I give a shit about SvC...:wtf: he's now 3-43254 against me in CvS2...
--I end up leaving Hamilton and EG gets new games and now Mohawk is apparently beefing up their arcade...DAMN...sounds like there's no reason at all for Hamilton not to have a fighting game scene now
--Pull the biggest scam on Vanny in CvS2 by hitting him with a dashing Sakura shinkuu as time runs out for the 10th win of a 13 game streak...do a victory lap around the jitz table... :encore:
--Drop the ball in our Team Hammer game split game when I stare at John kicking my ass with Cammy...sorry dudes...

I've seen you and John do some really good shit at times so nobody is going to tell me that you two don't have talent. Like I said yesterday, if you guys decide to go to one of the UNs in TO and are free for a little bit before it, you can drop by here and I can try to help out a bit. Otherwise, its just practice, practice...and take on anyone you can at EG or casuals whenever you can and try to learn from the losses.

Paid a visit to EG yesterday round 815. PLayed some CvS2. was fun. Lost to one twin beat the other can never remeber which one is which (sorry guys). Did some seroius practice after with Vince. Basic training learning normal string pressures, tick throwing, proper time to roll, cross up pressure all sort of things. Its crazy playign with just normals. Made me realize how much i take them for granted.

Vince: We gotta set aonther session like that up again but with all of Revo.

Just finihsed watching some game play vids of MK deception adn Cap Fighting Evo.

CFE: Looks awesome. GUILE IS STILL A BEAST MWAHAHAHA. I dont know how they are gonna work out the super baers for 3s though. Since you can choose multi supers in the original. I saw the video and Yun did both his SA2 and SA1 with the same bar style (no size or number difference) hehe myeb you get 2 super charges but you get to pick any ehehehe.

Mario: There is parrying in it if your a 3s char i saw alex do it then he did boomerang raid.

MK Deception looks amazing. Ermac is gonna be my char of choice. Love the death trap concept and the INTERACTIVE stage element. So awesome.

sup guys... i just got back from partying in waterloo and i managed to check out their cove. musta been there at a bad time cuz the comp was pretty lame. i was playin ken for the first time and i was able to get a decent streak goin.

but speakin of 3s... mac is now in possession of a 3s cab. it's a jap battle cab but it's still good. the controller seems a lil bit non-responsive but fuck, finally, a decent capcom fighter. there's already a few ppl there owning shit down so i hope team revo is ready to take a break from owning college kids and step up their game. peak time to play at mac is pretty much 12 - 7. after that, everyone's pretty much gone home. hope to see you guys at the house of games....

yes vince stopped twelve...no biggy...just wanted to try and win with low tier against scrub ken...

went to mac with jamie and nam to check out some 3s....the sticks there aren't great...but adaptable....got an 11 game streak with oro...jamie got an 11 game streak with ibuki...

talked to the guy there to make them switch it to 3 out 5 like at mohawk...so they might do it...

oh yeah I learned today at mac that twelve has a dive move....crazy

EG got DOA for MvC2. I went there i think oooh 2 weeks ago and it was there. ANd ugh i dunno , i think it was the street fighters gods telling me it wasnt my day today. For some reason i coudltn beat Vince consistantly with anyone other than Remy......oh and Now that i can do urien's setup almost 100% of the time i find out first hand that the machine at Slohawk has a no tolerance for unblockables.....more time for Hugo :D.

Hahaha, seeing Rey beasting the folks there at Mac is fun 'cause he still beasted them even without Oro's chicken leg combos into Tengu Stone super, hehe. Also kicking asses in Tekken Tag...

It was equally as fun watching Jamie's Ibuki owning them with his mixups over and over and over again (they seem to never block low, never learning from that, kinda like Vince, ;) )...and I remember Jamie taunting this one dude w/ Ibuki (and if you play Ibuki, you know her taunt is actually kind hard to land on opponents, unless they're stupid opponents) a couple of times in a round after his usual mixup, hahaha. Too funny.

Good times.

And Rey beat me w/ Twelve 'cause I was using Hugo, characters that tends to jump in the air and attack alot usually puts Hugo at a disadvantage. 'Cause he's slow and needs to do big damage at close range, now if only he has a reliable anti-air special/super (like Zangief's lv.2/lv.3 Russian Aerial Slam), he'd be motherfuckin' TOP TIER!

But that was then, Hugo will not lose to super low-low-tier Twelve again!

Played like crap at Mohawk, but for some reason played a lot better at Mac despite the fact the joysticks needed some adjusting to... :xeye: oh well...

Good games to *deep breath* Jimmy, Vince, Ike, Mario, Nam, Rey, dude that used SA1 Yun, all 4 or 5 guys at Mac...didn't realize I played so many different people until I got home last night.

Suprised Rey never mentioned this...

Fun though, the guys at Mac were good. Too bad Teddy or Bob and Jeff weren't there. Revo should go down there to play some different comp since there were a decent amount of people there and I'm sure there's more there than what we saw.

Those couches at Mac own. All they need is a CvS2, get a CFJ when it comes out and add in a Hyper AE machine for kicks and I'd never want to leave(ok, I'm dreaming). I'd just sleep on the couch...:lol:

I got to show up to mohawk today around 6ish. I got some graduation stuff i got to take care of. I doubt anyone will be around, but if someone is i can get in a couple of games. And i mean a couple cause Ive only got one dollar and am waiting to get paid.

well...i tried 3s @ mac finally...got beat by some random guy like 4 times cuz i can't link on jap sticks, kinda frustrating to see 50 mks go through and not being able to link...anyways i played ghetto and got a few wins that way...althoguh one guy there was probably better than me with or without links...

The Mac guys were fun to play. Definitely want to drop in there again but they do need to put it on 3 out of 5 rounds though...

Rey and Nam had the same problem linking supers the other day...I think its mostly just a problem getting used to the sticks though cause I got a lot more comfortable with doing supers the more I played...

Team Revo should definitely go down there since they have better hours to get some mass 3S playing going there...new competition boys, step up!
