Ok, so I stopped by the UofC today to pay fee's (550 for internship wtf, they dont do anything!) and a bunch of you guys happen to be there.
So the question is, what days do you guys usually go down to the cove? Just wondering on what day(s) people usually seem to flock to the cove to play a few games. (still cant believe I totally blew that CC on Ian, total rust after 4 months) Even though I only had time for 1 game it was fun seeing everyone again after 4-5 months
Who still attends the U and who works and just drops by? Calgary peeps can find me on msn (technically trillian) at mikegslee@hotmail
I expect this thread to die fast but meh

I'm a working man now. I use the gym MWF though and I see some people every now and then. But it seems like these games are pretty much dead.

it's only dead after like 5 o'clock which is when you show up, Byron.
We play like mad during 12 to 4 pm on MWF, and I heard that there are others that play quite a bit on Tues and Thurs.
Last Friday, I think we altogether spent like 80 bucks on cvs2 alone.

The other Byron (Brian?) is pretty good. I'll have to kill off more of my rust before playing him again.
And Mike, I'm there on Mondays usually.

I actually came into this thread to ask how my boy Byron was doing in Calgary. When last I talked to him he gave props to the other Byron and said he was pretty good. I hope you guys are keeping his skills sharp.

<-- other Byron
Yeah. I give him props as well. The guy plays a very good rushdown oriented game, which is not what I expected. I thought Toronto was all turtles. He's really solid and his K-groove doesn't ever back off  . I haven't played him for 2 months or so - I'm a working man now - but the last time I saw him I was teaching him a bit about roll cancelling. I wonder if he's incorporated it into his game. From what I hear, he's owning up the CvS2 machine at the University.

Byron was just learning how to Roll Cancel before he moved to Calgary. I'm glad you were able to show him a few tricks on how to pull it off. Does anyone know if he's still using P Groove? He was using it just before moving but it wasn't all that good. Hopefully when he comes home over the holidays he'll have new Calgary tactics to show us.
