man ive been playing for almost 3 months now on and off, but my game feels like its lacking. i dont know, i think its cause im not learning new things but just playing off of what i know. the main thing i can say is that my footsie game feels much better than before and im jumping much less, yet i fall for every trick in the book. to top it off, i feel like im wasting my time in k groove when a groove just seems 10x better than any other groove.

anyone got any advice on what i should do? and for god sake can someone get me a video of their hands while playing so i can see how you guys control the stick? i still cant do double rotations accurately enough on my stick to combo supers and i dont want to jump back to pad.

I suggest that you go into the training mode and practice your double rotations. If you keep practicing your muscles will get used to the motion making it easier to pull of during a real match. Its sort of like a basketball player working on their follow thru on their jump shot or a golfer working on their swing you have to get your body used to the motion. I still have problems with it myself. But I have seen improvement in my game since I started practing with muscle memory in mind. I don't think there is any secret way to controller motions, but there are different ways to push buttons like using the negetive edge something which I can't do constantly. Oh well I guess I have to practice.

Don't be so analytical when you play, eventually you will be countering those "tricks" you speak of without thinking twice. Now I don't mean turn your brain off but sometimes studying counters and data can overload your thinking and you end up doing nothing but taking punishment. As far as difficult motions I can understand what you mean, there are certain moves (I'm not even talking combos) that I simply cannot execute without pain, so I work around that by adjusting my gameplay to not need certain moves.

Like the other guy said practice will help you with your motion but after sufficient practice and you still find yourself struggling with executing a move, I would think of ways of playing that wouldn't make you dependent on that move.
