Finally some guy stuff, guy owns but he's freaking hard for me to play:
Tight timing for chains, specials override most super motions (no motion shortening), you have to know all of his normals as well as a cody player does.

I got it, and it was very informative.......what I don't get is the "player 2 only" combos/strats.

Can someone explain that to me?

In A3, there is a bug (i guess it's a bug?) where player 2 can do funny things in the corner that player one simply cannot do.

If you're player 2, and you're juggling or whatever near the corner.. and you TOUCH the corner, BANG! you switch sides and you're in the corner! This doesn't happen so easily for player one.

Normally, this can screw up a lot of your combos and cause confusion is situations if you don't know about it. Just try Ryu's j.MP infinite with player 2 and you'll see what I mean.

However, if you know about this bug, you can take advantage of it! It allows you to cross them up and perform combos that are not possible for player 1.

i finally saw it. if it's any consolation, i ran into some complications which meant i had to download it twice, burn it onto a CD and watch it on a computer that wasn't on XP (don't ask). but all that didn't matter once i saw it coz. well. it rocks, damnit. great editing, and more importantly, great content :karate:

That's really sad, man. How long does it take you to register on a site? It took me like 15 seconds to fill in the info and click the link. And I never get spam mail or anything like that.

And combovideos.com has tons of really awesome videos that are well worth a simple membership registration. There a lots more videos on the combovideos.com site than just mine.

Combovideos also hosts all that stuff for free (while thousands of users leech off their servers). I don't think a simple FREE membership registration is too much for them to ask.

I understand your concern.. I hate going to many sites for vids of stuff and each one is "PLEASE REGISTER FIRST!!", then you gotta worry about spam and whatnot.. sucks.

But i'm telling you dude, it's worth it with combovideos.com. You get access to LOTS of GOOD QUALITY vids. It's easy too, I don't even think you need to verify through email? (could be wrong here, someone correct me).

Seriously, it's not diffacult at all.. it's real easy and takes like 1 min at the MOST. ^_^

ok i registered.i downloaded that combo vid and honestly i have to say :wow: :tup: :encore: :wow: i didn't expected a such good vid.really really impressive.i did play guy a little some years ago but i didn't suppose guy could do combos like that.i just did get the basic combos nothig more(true that sfa3 was my first fighting game as i started late).wow i strat to ask myself if i shouldn't play to it again now........

The only way I know how to perform it is to release the roundhouse button a frame or two after pressing it. EG. The roundhouse button is only "pressed" for one to two frames. You need only press the roundhouse button once, but it must be very very quick.

It is humanly possible to perform it without autofire (rapid fire controller) or a programmable pad. I really don't know any sort of manual trick for it though, unless you count mapping multiple buttons to roundhouse. In which case, you could press both buttons one immediately after the other, much like a kara cancel.
