View Full Version : Stick/Controllers problems in SF:AE?

SF:AE for me is throwing serious fits with the controllers I use. I have a custom stick made with a pelican universal PCB which works beautifully for cvs2eo, xbox mvc2, fbaxxx, GGXX#R, everything. Stick barely works at at all on SFAE. Intermittant lag anywhere from .5 to 3 seconds, sometimes non-responsive buttons, and stick 'stickyness', where tapping a direction would cause it to be held for the same .5-3 seconds. PS2 controller used with an adapter works, but turns it into a sexual toy; constant vibration at all times.

I just wanted to find out if any others were experiencing this problem, or if there were any solutions other than waiting for the US sealed release.

I'm experiencing the same problem as well.

Functions lag whether I use an original PSX controller, or a Dual Shock PS2 controller.

Almost ready to rip out the PSX PCB inside my sticks and replacing them with Xbox ones. meh.

Yeah, but it's too clunky for 3s, surely?

Using a converter introduce lag, so you need to buy an xbox stick.
I'm using a Hori stick, which is really good.
