Hey all.
Having trouble finding a good groove and 3rd member for my team.
So far my team consists of Rock and Terry, and I'm constantly switching the third guy.

Which character would go good with those two, and which groove do you think I should use? I don't care if the character is top-tier or whatever, I just want to play someone fun who synegizes well with my other guys.

I would ask in the other forum, but I hear the lack of RC and stuff changes everything, and I wanted to hear from the guys with the most experience with it.

Thanks!

i may not be the best person to answer this but i'll input my opinion. if you're looking for wins on LIVE pick N or K (hard to JD with lag) and your anchor can be sagat. preferably K though since rock's roll sucks balls, plus no RCs. if you don't like the simplicity of K you should use N since there are more options. but really, you can choose any groove and get really good if you just stick with that team. :)

outside of live i would use A but that's a different story.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I appreciate the help!
I'm gonna have to play in K groove, I play a little bit of MOTW, so I guess it would come more natural anyway.

Sagat sounds like a good fit for anchor, but I'm a little tired of the shoto mold, y'know.

Is there anyone you could reccomend on the SNK side, maybe? Like I said, tiers mean nothing to me, just as long as the team is decent.

I play a Terry, Rock, Geese(2) in K groove. Geese can be tough to learn but is a MONSTER when raged. There's plenty of little tricks that can just drive your opponent wild. He's a real powerhouse, and not really al that slow. His run can run under sagat high tiger shot which is amazing when faced with cheap Sagats. He's got a good crossup (mk), a good air fireball, a quick ground fireball, an amazing s. roundhouse and a great j. roundhouse (jumping straight up and throwing out a rh is a pretty good AA sometimes). On top of all that he has one of the highest HP levels in the game, nd has one sick looking throw. On LIVE, not many people use him, so they don't really know whats coming.

Yamazaki and K groove would be a nice choice. Geese as well.

I can vouch for Sagat Yama or Geese. I dont play the last two at all but I do play a little Sagat. He's good fun to play if you try to learn his combos into specials or supers.

Here's the characters I use in K groove. The shotos (Akuma is most fun in K), Zangief, Sagat, Sakura, Kim, Chun + Iori.. They are all good fun but I recommend Zangief above all others. Trying to rush with Gief is too much fun!

i would reccomend just using them like rock(1), Terry (3). Or adding something like Guile or another charge in there, just to have a litle versatility.

Since this thread is basically asking the same exact thing I was going to, I'll post here and ask for the same thing.

I use Terry, Kyo, and Joe/Ken/Kim in C Groove. I'm looking for someone else to add, and maybe a groove change. Basically exactly what Rave wanted, just interchange Rock with Kyo. Thanks in advance for your help.

i think Sagat is a good choice if your new to the game, even if you dont want to make him your main char in order to learn how to fight against him you probaly want to learn how to play him go to the sagat strategy part and you can learn matchups. and no guys u cant win every match with cr fierce although its very abusable at low level play.

oh yeah k-groove would probaly be best for terry/rock/sagat

all bs aside bison, vega, and rolento are dominate for the capcom side. for the snk side i think kim, ryo, rock, and king are pretty good.to me sagat is too slow and i would be grabbing him all day
