Welcome. First off you'd be surprised how long it can take to get really good against a wide variety of play styles so the best advise is to just play and learn as you do. The bullshit can get frustrating at times (hell i even pulled on dream theater way back) but after a few thousand games you should have a pretty solid game going for you. Theres way too many tricks and traps to actually sit here and coach anyone thru but any one of us will tell you dont stoop to ex or eo. You'll never get any better using those. Also dont worry about your record and dont worry about losses. It doesnt count for shit anyways.

ive played 1500 games but they were with the control pad, now im on arcade stick. so im crap agen.
this game is really starting 2 pss me off. charge character espiaclly, most of every1 who uses charge characters also likes 2 roll about, whick a think is alot of bulla, moving forward with a charge?

the games street fighter are fun game but some ppl online do try 2 kill it. im thinking bout just not playin no more like every1 else who once played the game regularly.

this is the only online sf game i play but is it the same 4 them all?

Dude

if someone keeps rolling at you throw them they will soon stop either that or they get beat by a simple throw...

Best thing to do go into training mode and set the dummy to do things that piss you off then just work out ways to own it up then back online and show the scrubs what you got

Thats interesting BBC. But the main killer on Live has always been the lag. You cant be quick enough to react to somebody rolling on Live, well sometimes..

Exka, just dont waste supers, learn to combo into supers. Learn combos that start on the ground and find out your characters best pokes. Also anti-air those Live scrubs. If you can react quick enough to punish rolls, that helps alot on Live

KNeel always be ready for the roll when playing against someone with a rolling groove and if its that laggy that you cant throw then drop!

i think there is 2 many ppl online who's attitude is do wot u gotta do 2 win.

im just tried of it
no1 likes being beat by a cheap player, i dont mind being beat but a skillful player because u can learn from it

Yeh its much more difficult to improve playing on Live than say, if you had a local arcade full of players in your area. Either way, you have to learn to take out the scrubs. Stay out of console mode, theres no point in playing against the Ex users out there. Also take playing on Live with a pinch of salt man. There is no need to take it seriously, just have fun, thats what it is there for

Best way to win?

There are a few characters that have REALLY high priority week sweeps that you can link into supers easily... Ken Kim and Terry are good examples. There are more, but im not gonna tell you and give my game away!

Anyhoo, rollers always fall for the fast multiple tap into super.

Just use top teir characters and spam high priority moves if you want to win.

Like sagat's fierce, cammy's fierce, athena's crouching fierce, chun-li's crouching strong...

Learn how to spam those constantly and you will literally beat half the people on live.

Another reccomendation is if you play in a rolling groove play in P or K groove until you become an animal then switch back if you still want to. Teaches you to play the game without relying on rolling to get out of corners. I catch way too many scrubs in corner traps and then wealk up and throw them as they try and roll away. :karate:
