Believe it or not it's TRUE!!! Twelve fans rejoice!!! Its ultra hard b/c I think you have to cancel with 3 qcf motions(it might even be 4) instead of 1 or 2. I think it has to do with the fact that an odd number of qcf motions will not produce a super but even numbers will. That plus the fact that the special move is a qcf motion messes it up. It's like trying to do a light tackle with Sean and doing a super after it or doing Ibuki's special dash and then a super. Once you do a qcf motion the CPU gives you a certain amount of time where that qcf counts as part of the super and then it resets. That's why you can do a close up hadoken into super with ryu by doing qcf+P, qcf+P which is just 2 qcf motions. It just so happens to be that certain moves take just long enough to straddle the time limit making it difficult to determine whether the special motion "counted" towards the super motion or not. Some of these moves I have already mentioned. But if you don't believe me do repeated qcf+JP as fast as you can with Twelve when he is close with X.N.D.L. and it will combo. In fact, there are X.C.O.P.Y. combos from it as well. As a side note the N.D.L. has two different frames of hitting animation. I think but I'm not sure that the later frame hit cannot be super canceled. I'm suprised that I haven't heard this anywhere yet. I would think that some of these game freaks in Japan would have come up with it sooner or later. Time to revise the strategy guide my friends. Oh yeah did I mention Chikyuu=God...

yes u can super a MEATY N.D.L. in to a X.N.D.L. while u can hit with a EX N.D.L., juggle em with a X.N.D.L. a rather useless thing to do.

It doesn't have to be meaty it's a super cancel. There are more practical applications with X.C.O.P.Y. though b/c if it hits or is blocked it leaves you closer than if you canceled it from a close SP, FK, or b+FK. If you anti-air with N.D.L. then super cancel you can get some interesting juggles. Much more realistic than qcb+P super cancel juggle. Too bad you can't combo Hugo's light attacks into a quick lariat b/c Twelve can actually do N.D.L. xx X.C.O.P.Y. and get light attacks out very close that combo with the N.D.L.. Better to look for FK xx X.C.O.P.Y. d+FK with okizeme or just any old time to copy and moonsault press. Try the Hugo combo I mentioned above or get 3/4 screen away from someone who is in the corner and do an EX N.D.L. xx X.N.D.L. and if it juggles you'll see what I'm talkin' about. It's an actual super cancel not just one move followed by another. I warned you though it is ULTRA hard. It could take you 5-10 times before you get it once. On the real, you HAVE to do it sloppy to get it to work.

It's not even a cancel. It's a link. I've only done it with jab NDL's and didn't really see a practical use for it

A link is one move FOLLOWED by another while a cancel is cutting off frames of animation into another move. This IS a cancel(super cancel in this case). See the difference. If it was a link you could link his crouching light punch or light kick but you can't. Also just like other super cancels there are different timings to them. Sometimes you'll do it slower than others. I.E. cancel during different frames of animation. It's almost useless I know but why didn't anyone mention it before?

I don't know about regular NDL, but EX NDL can be canceled into special at the very end. It basically cancels the little popping up animation. I guess you can cancel into super too, whatever. Thing is, you're not actually canceling after any hits, like you would for say ShoryukenXXsuper, but it's not a link, either because you still haven't recovered -> you can't do normals until you fully recover. This sort of thing is pretty common in some games.. never looked for it in 3S though
