I would have stuck around longer but eating those hurricane walk up knee bash ticks were just annoying the fuck out of me....especially since they are almost impossible to reverse online which is why I refrain from using it except in the arcades. Good games indeed.

my expertise (if you havn't already noticed!) is Guile and i will sonic boom you all the way to quitting from HF

my previous expertise many years ago was with ken/ryu but that was on the arcade and now with the crappy xbox joypad i have had to build up my expertise with guile...

players who are wicked on this game that i have played so far are r ism, hadoku (although he's never around now!), fractured rib, demon grim (although i always get lag playing him so have to quit!), barnes10, endy22 and technical monkey...

other players i respect for their efforts are ex mosquit0, sixstepsamurai, akumar, the don 786, unikronn, beatenalphaup...

overrated (ie not so good!) players are amenotep, ossoi, original don who seem to wait for the easy meat to come online rather than pit themselves against the best!!

the bull mccabe is the laughing stock of HF though..quits the game when he's losing and builds up massive points to show everyone he's good... but most of us know you're CRAP!!

players i want to play (if you're reading this!) are taiwan wu (although losing your ss status means your not invincible), hivi seven, fox kids UK...

so what you're waiting for guys, i'm online 8-10pm most weekdays and pm/evening at weekends so if you think you can beat me then come along to eat my sonic boom!!

one other thing someone's got to tell microsoft/xbl that quitting now costs the winning player and the losing player the match (ranking wise) when it should cost the losing player only!!

Sorry about that. You were actually playin a friend of mine, so GG's on his behalf. About the M.PUNCH -> HURRICANE KICK, i guess you do the combo as one move.

erm...i first played sf2 in 1992 on the super nintendo then played the rest on the snes but only a couple of my friends played it and he had a megadrive. only ever went to 1 comp :rolleyes:. im a pad man but oddly enough i play better with a stick but have no where to put it. but i dont play seriously and i cant beast on people.

zsnes and zbattle? are they some sort of on line emulator. if not the only snes i could hope to get hold of to even try to contemplate playing would be the pal version with the 50hz ssf2 which is awful...so not much luck there. thanks for the suggestion but i only play for fun and jokes so i would not realy spend any more money on street fighter :tup:

well i do know him, met him t troc where i actually put in money into there machines to play him at hsf2 ae :tdown: the barstard tore me a second arse hole. the rest is history and yeah he is a beast, he's cool.

I was using the HORI Fighting Stick EX. I can use it on 3rd Strike but not SF.AE. I could smell victory in some of those matches, and then you took it away from me. And your Honda is wicked man, i was just trying to keep away from him with fireballs and light dragons. Play you again soon man.

I am the first registered original Don. I knw a lot of people would use "Don" in their nick, hence me choosing "original".

I usually have bad games with don786, he only plays if his WW Guile wins, else he quits after 2 matches. thedon777 has only ecently started playing the game, so he is still getting used to the game - the games so far have been fair, and he is OK to play against (in my experience that is).

Thnx man! Your guile, The Don 786's, Alwayzcharged and Decoy's guiles are tough as nails!! I was mentally fatigued after a few of those sessions. That balrog crap was just luck. I only started using him because I was having problems getting fireballs and Dps to come out with ken. So, I just figured I'd experiment and give rog a shot.

Although ken is my best character, next time I'll definitely mix it up. I know it gets a little dry running against ken round after round. :tup:

Oh yes, how could I forget, GG's to you as well man. Yes, we've had a few great sessions as well. If I recall correctly, you've got a really nasty shoto. Much better than mine. Funny thing is, I barely ever use guile, but after running so many games AGAINST strong guiles prior to our match (meenaxi and the don 786) this weekend, I found myself able to use him fairly decent against you. He actually bailed me out, as I wasn't able to match you shoto vs shoto for a bit there.

Ive played 4 sets against Demon Grim on the Chowster account and I believe im ahead by one. One of them was a draw. That does NOT mean im better than him thus shouldnt be used to draw any conclusions. Demon grim plays several characters to a very high level and some of them completely blow my ryu away. If he stuck to those characters I doubt id win any at all.

Most of Zangief's tick throws can be DP'd out of. But they are RIDICULOUSLY hard to do. I think my friend said in ST that st lk into spd can only be escaped by DP. Sounds too good to be true.

Thanks GG's to you as well. I was on FIRE last night with CE.Gief I think i ran 50+games over 3-4 ppl with out a loss. I couldn't beleav some of the SPD's I was getting last night. A few times I watched ppl wiff a cr.roundhouse or Cr.Forward and I would step in and SPD for free. It was INSANE!

His tick SPD's are crazzie hard to get out of. You only have 1/30th of a sec to do the reversal move. That is 2 frames if SF ran at 60fps but it runs at 30fps so you only have 1!!!! frame to do it right. Good luck reversing it.

Am I the only one finding it frustrating difficult to play somebody as good or as better then me for a period of more then 5 matches? If somebody is better then me (like Murderapolis) then they get bored of my ability to only win 1 out of 5 matches and quits, I understand that though, its just sucks because I want to play poeple like that so I can get better. And on the rare occasion I find somebody exactly my level and we have a few close matches, he leaves right after he goes up by one.
