I don't care who it is....I don't go accusing people for nothing. The first time it happened, he dropped as I was beating him. I muted him. 2 days later, as he's losing to me again...."Connection is no longer available". It's not a coincidence. You see, a lot of people will drop on someone when they don't think they post here. I've been posting here for over 3 years. I only stopped posting here very much just recently. Besides, what would I have to gain by accusing him? Ask any of the actual good players here. They'll tell you that I never give up even if I'm losing 10 or 20 games in a row.

Secondly, out of 4 matches you won the first one with Honda, then you lost twice with different characters and reverted back to Honda. The only way you could squeeze a win out was by depending on repeated headbutts, grabs (the bearhug shit), and fierce punch 100 hand slap. While we're in lag. Now that is some awesome skill man [/sarcam].

I don't think 786 is a dropper, but saying that his Guile is good goes to far. His Guile is cheap, the only thing he can do is Sonic Boom + C.MK. I will stop saying he's cheap until he murders me with a Super/Super Turbo character. I played him once while he was ST Ken and I was ST Dhalsim, he started spamming dragon punches (only when on the left hand side of the screen), and barely defeated my Dhalsim (with 200 Vital). I have played tchrlee as well and skill wise I have seen more of him than 786's turtling CE Guile.

The population of Live can be divided as follows:

- The Turbo Ken whores (40%)
- The C Bison/C Guile whores (40%)
- The Akuma whores (Jumping back and forward spamming air fireball) (10%)
- People that are completely new to the game but "thought it looked like fun" (5%)
- People that predominantly play ST, choosing different characters (5%)

I don't even know why I bother with you fuckers. The best way to play this game is by sticking to the people on your friends list of which you know that they play for fun.

Well I'm done with this. I can only tell you how it looks from my side.

1. I have NEVER claimed to be a great player. I would say that "m marginal at best.
2. Anyone can turtle with CE Guile spamming flashkicks w/sonic booms.
3. About dropping against someone with "my rank". What difference does it make what my rank is??? He was only winning a couple of games against me. It was actually a pretty good series. I started to pick Ryu against his Guile because I got sick of playing the same character over and over. I was like "Damn dude, show a little versatility."
4. In a long series, there would be no massacre against me from him (especially if he ever decided to choose anyone else besides CE Guile). I admit, he's better than I am, but it's difficult to tell since he ONLY uses CE Guile.

Oh, and NOBODY should EVER play retired jerk. He's a scrub with NO FUCKING SKILLS who totally spams CE Bison's psychocrusher. He's never chosen another character. So I now have that *** muted.

erm yeah hello, i will say this about the don 786, when we first played there was a mis understanding due to lag, and i did post in the bad games thread BUT it did not call him silly names or say anything about his rank i just asked what was up and he replied and ever since then we been cool( by the way 786 you're improving too fast you tart). Nice post Unikronn. :tup: I've played both Zeruel and Original Don and I think both of you are very good players. I won't comment on possible drops cause only you two know what happened there. I will however agree with Unikronn when it comes to tactics.

Yes this game is imbalanced but part of fun (at least for me) is having the opportunity to fight against the different versions of the SF cast with YOUR best version of whatever character you prefer. Too good. :tup: Will there be some bad matchups? You can bet it, but there are also many toss ups.

ST Honda vs S. Guile is not crazy. I'll play S. Guile against any version of Honda any day. (but thats just me)

I should be the one bitching! Do you realize how many CE Guile, CE Bison, Turbo Kens, WW Guiles, Akumas, any version of Honda, etc, etc.... I have face everyday? MANY!

Who cares? I enjoy finding ways to beat characters that have a distinct advantage vs my own.

Anyway, back to my point. I think both of you are cool cats and you should just chill. Get online and play a good long set till you get it out of your system. You will see that no matter who has the advantage in games won, you both will walk away from it having learned how to fight against the other more effectively. I've gotten beaten BAD in first encounters with good players. I've also come back and either handed them their asses or have done very well.

I played RetiredJerk last night and he plays a pretty solid Bison. Of course he uses the same patterns over and over and takes advantage of the psycho crusher mixups but he does what he has to do to win. I played him about 18 times for shits n giggles and he won the majority of time. Not once was he rude. Infact I thought it was kinda funny when he was saying stuff like "Good game! You're gonna win this next one, I just know it" almost condescending but it was all good. Not a bad player IMO.

I played Retired Jerk 9 games the other day in two sets, I won 5-0 and 4-0. Since I was using a different joystick the first set, I had access to voice. He was asking me about SRK and if I read the forums, and was already complaining that I might bitch about the way he plays, but it was not going to bug me because of my character (I use ST Chun-Li). He was thrown quite a bit because he does not have a wake-up. He tried WW Guile the second set, and ONCE used ST Chun-Li. I think he was able to get a few rounds, but I really wanted to make a point against that character. He did not scream at me or anything though, he was just sick of losing I suppose.

Yep, it's quite simple. When you're near your opponent, charge down for the flashkick move. When the person is within throw range, execute the flashkick move but press medium punch just before. It usually works if you roll your fingers across medium punch then medium kick. To get out of it, just do the magic throw.

As frustrating as it is to use honda vs. Guile, it's all fair game. If you're a good enough player, you'll find a way past guile. Doesn't matter what version you're using there's always away around someone (unless you're facing Dee Jay against Afro Legends, I haven't figured out that strategy yet).

It is annoying though when one player will wait for the other to choose before picking their character (savalas).

Also, there's an EASY strategy around what I was doing. Learn the game a tad bit more!

Common sense would say that's a good choice but the fact of the matter is that CE Bison is as close to broken as you can get. Forget his block stun pattern cause even slight lag takes care of that. But his crossup torpedo's are next to impossible to beat once you get them going.

Some players will say that they don't mind playing against CE Bison cause they would use X character and take care of that. That may be true, but those people are not playing against top level Bison players cause they might have second thoughts if they did.

Characters like CE Guile are tough to beat as well but they are much more beatable than CE Bison. CE Guile doesn't have a move he can abuse like a jab torpedo that gives the opponent next to no chance of recovering.

So there's my short answer.

That is a fair and honest point, you make Savalas...

However, I think it is the psycho crusher. Since you use CE Bison, you know it’s a very powerful move.

People hate playing against it b/c they can legitimately be beating you let say 80% to 20% life (in your opponents favor) you score one knock down, and then do a simple charge move over and over to beat them.

There is really nothing to do to beat it other than guess which way to block.

Granted there are many set-ups in street fighter that set up guessing games. Ambiguous cross up’s (for example the super turbo guile’s jumping short, at the right distance it is very hard to see if it is going to cross you up or not.)

But, the psycho crusher Spam, take the least amount of skill to perform.

My little brother could do it and take at least 50% life of a veteran if he ever knocks him down.

If he picked any other character, this would not be the case.

As I said in my pre previous post, these are simply the names which were listed as droppers, people requested that a list be made so hence I made one (it doesn't necesarrily mean that they do). Stop with the stereotypes, man. You're getting all riled up over nothing. If don't you like the fact that your name made the list, then fine, deal with it & move on. However, don't attack other contributors simply because they go against what you want.
