The games we played had minimal lag on my side as well :clap: Even though Capcom made some lazy mistakes when they made this game (concerning BSOD and other errors), I must say they did a good job on the netcode, at least I think so anyways.

Your Urien are as solid as ever. Yeah the game was still laggy but i would say it's acceptable. The good thing about our connection is that we rarely got a BSOD.


Actually I haven't play 3S for a while. For some reason I enjoy playing HSF2 more now which I'm pretty new to the game. My ass got kicked here and there by the Japanese but I'm getter better. Maybe we can play HSF2 next time.

Also, that Remy trap with the high and low lov's. W/o lag, is it possible to completely trap someone with that ( maybe like Hugo or Q).

And how practical is charge partitioning? Is it worth learning? Did it take you a while to get down?

Yeah, my connection has been playing up on me all this week. I am moving interstate soon and will be getting a new and upgraded connection which will hopefully provide me with some better connections with those in the UK, Europe and USA. At the moment I get great connections with Japan, Hong Kong and China 80% of the time as they are in my part of the world. I dont even really bother challenging those in UK, USA and Europe anymore apart from people whom I know have some skills and/or are friends in the hope we get a good connection, I tend to stick with local and Japan matches these days.

Hopefully in the future we can have a better connection so that I can see your Hugo at full strength. :tup:

Yea that air kick, chain, special eats me up every time. I just can't get the timing right to parry the air kick, and I can never find a good opening to disprupt the ground game. If I manage to block it all, and try to throw a poke out, I get slapped with another special. Yun is quickness. I should rethink my strategy, but I'm not that smart. :karate:

There's only one I clearly remember: Chief Gutti/Gutty/whatever, Hes Japanese, and we had no lag whatsoever! 26 matches full of Ken-Ken matches, they were FUCKIN AWSOME, he kept adjusting his game everytime I did something now *like cross-up, dash back, c.mk xx super, etc.* and I had to after he did it, those were hella awsome matches, if you happen to come across him: PLAY, he doesnt parry well, but he has a pretty solid purple Ken =)

Good games, I liked our perfects on one another. Pity we cant play totally lag free as I know you have got the skills and our matches would be much more entertaining. Did you notice when we played our first match would be laggy then our second match would be alot better in terms of lag? Then after the two matches we would get the BSOD. Lol, everyone who have written ggs to me today all complains about Chun. Well, I guess some of you will hate her even more now, because tonight I´v started to use her back HP to SAII.
Well, I say, as I have said before:
She is my main character, to bad people really seems to hate her. Anyway, I´v started to mix it up a bit more using other characters. But I don´t see anything wrong for me picking her now and then, when you youself are playing with your main characters (this isn´t really directed towards anyone specifik).

Good games, I liked our perfects on one another. Pity we cant play totally lag free as I know you have got the skills and our matches would be much more entertaining. Did you notice when we played our first match would be laggy then our second match would be alot better in terms of lag? Then after the two matches we would get the BSOD. Anyway, thought that was rather odd.

By the way, who are your main characters in the game? I know Ken is one...

GG's man. My main character is Urien. But as you can tell, I can't play with him worth a damn even with the minimalist lag. My style of play involves a lot of parrying and charge partitioning based on reactions on what the other person does so I have to be dead on. And when you're playing with lag, you can't react you have to guess, so it screws up everything for me and if I guess wrong I get killed. So when the games are laggy I resort to playing with ken so if i guess wrong I still have chances. I'm not really that good with anyone other than Urien, but I play with ken, makoto, and alex also. I wish I could play you more because I know you're good and it sucks we have to play with the lag. I did notice that we would get a BSOD after 2 games each time so that was wierd. So GG's and i'll see you on XBL

As one of the few Makoto-only players around, I can definitely vouch for that :) She's one of the most enjoyable characters to use. Lots of weird stuff, great ground pokes(c.mp is great since it links to specials), all around great. It is very hard to utilize him to his maximum potential in laggy conditions. A correctly timed parry with Urien can start a chain reaction of events leading into multiple chariot tackles into unblockables etc...I can tell the parry is a big part of your game also as you were still parrying quite a bit of stuff despite the lag. Charge partitoning is really screwed in lag, no dash in to headbutt as well as the chariot tackles really screws you with Urien as to me personally his WHOLE game revolves around the charge partition and the various set ups that can come from it.

For me character wise apart from Urien closely following for me is Makoto and Akuma. I also like using Ryu, Alex, Q , Dudley and once in a blue moon Ken. In a laggy environemnt though Ken is definetly a safe bet. I have started using him a bit more but I am finding that I am begining to like him which is no good as I tend to dislike Ken and Chun top tier whores.

Slayer69… good times, just don't pay too much attention to rank; I'm average at best and just play a lot in between working on papers/projects. I just try to never use someone twice in a row (win or lose) and just stay away from the few characters I have yet to pick up. Game is too dope even if lag kills it a bit.

OHT… nice Ibuki. We pretty much always have a clean connection so I don't mind getting owned continuously. I have a good time just trying to get that distant win. We'll do it again.

Man is it me or to the big guys do way too much damage. Hehe, about the throw thing. Don´t know if I should post my tactics (lol), but I actually use throws alot so I can set up for a SA. I want people to expect and guard against throwing so I can nail a crouching mk or back HP to SAII. Thats why I use overheads alot to. And sometimes I just use them for mix up with the wake up mind game. So all in all, I tend to use them alot, for both good and bad (don´t know how many jump kicks and crouching mk:s I´v been hit with because I press the throw buttons in pure reflex) =).

BTW kneel, when you mark the character, before picking the one u use. Does that mean you want me to use that character? (that you first marked)
