Yeah man, that was some fun shit. I would've stayed longer, but the clock was 3 - 4 in the morning and I had to take a sleep.

And to select the chars in black, just beat the game with them and the hold select/back while you press fierce.

He didnt just spam, but he did do it enough to where u'd beging to expect it so he could throw in a overhead and or a throw every once in a while.. so it was what you call "spamming" + mind games..and thats just called stratagy. So yes the lag was a factor in the whole equation, but everyone knows it lags so why even begin to make the complaint that thats why the scrubby spamming stratagy worked?....And i honesty think there is'nt a damn in this game that you can "abuse" concidering that its a damn near perfect fighting game for the sole fact that if ur good enough @ parrying and countering throws, you dont have to get hit by n e thing! Well, with the exception of Gill, Akuma's Ground slaming move, and the few slam then uppercut glitches in the game.

Indeed. And just like today, i will win! Seriously though, i did enjoy the random choosing of characters. This game gets boring so easily with the few characters on offer, so its good to just fuck about.

PoorPeon - I would really like to clash Hugos with you again but when there is not so much lag. I had as much control over my Hugo as a crab on a motorbike. On any other day, when i dont have 16 second delay, i would have given you a better match.

TactfulNoir - GGs. But is there really ANY enjoyment in using Two-Button-Li? Her ready made combos are just too powerful and her normals have WAY too much priority. I had to resort to using an equally scrubby character (Remy) to beat her... and now i feel cheap, dirty and skill-less.

ButtaSuperb - GGs. I dont know what the hell all that non-synchronising shit was about. Hugo feels robbed of his victories!

About the Remy thing, well, after my last win in the Hugo vs Remy match I also feel cheap and dirty. God, don´t think I ever throwed so many fireballs before.

Well anyway, I restrain myself from playing her against you next time since I now know you don´t like to play against that character. Unless I´m up against a Hugo, gigas online can really annoy me hehe

This is why am absolutely dumbstruck why people just stick to one character ...it gets boring fast. I as a rule rarely pick the same character twice because of this. Its just a habit that i cant sit still on one character and have to move to another...thats why they are there :)

But sometimes when your faced with a strong ken, it helps to change characters as it gets your skills better with that random character. You most prolly get whooped...but you may also destroy them.

Oh well, ive been singing this same song since i joined here with CvS2 at the lack of variety people choose. Apart from a few people, everyone is playing in a tournament mentality that "I MUST WIN...CANT LOSE ONE MATCH!" or use the excuse that "i dont know the character"...if you dont pick them, you never will :xeye:

This isnt directed at anyone, especially not the people who are new to the game, but there are a lot of people who have been playin this for years and still do this. Ive been playing this since August, and it would of bored me to hell just using one character for that long, never mind years. Anyway, enough of my babble!

If you want to fight me using different chars (doesnt have to be the whole cast, even a rotation of 3-4 is enough) when you see me online, as always you can gaurantee i dont just sit on one character at most for more than 2 games. If however i dont get the same courtesy back...lately against some Ken\chunli for example, i will stick to around two. Why bother with the effort if someone just wants to get a slightly better gaurantee to win against you.

Went and bought MK Deception today...just played Konquest so far, but it seems to have loads of online options and stats compared to 3s and CvS2 :sad: especially the Wins\losses and Disconnects! Anyway, i want to play puzzle kombat before i return this game back to the shop :bgrin: , and of course some MK classic...so anyone just recently got the game? i know its not very hard to learn, but still :p Definately seems to be a game where you can do some proper dirty chains and high priority nonsense :p Still, funny game though :bgrin: Luwaat? Try the 3 button combo color (LP,MK,HP)… I think that's the dopest one and the one you're looking for.

I've won with hugo and i only pick him by accident lol. He may be hard to play, but he also has a huge damage potential, and its not safe to constantly attack him, it is only safe to hit and run which is exactly what i do. In fact i read i think in the strat forums thats how you should play against him, and it works. Other good hugo players have gotten past my hit and run playstyle, you should be able to as well. If a match is laggy, it's not to my consent to do "lag tactics", i try to play and try to adapt to the lag. So no, I don't purposely do or think about doing lag tactics. OK, so in conclusion, If i felt i had a bad game i would have posted my feedback to you in the Bad Games Tread. Seeing as i didnt, and haven't posted there in ummm... months, tells you that i dont take this game as a way of life. Win or lose , it dont matter. What does matter is people being able to comment on other styles of gameplay freely. Comment on mine, i care not, and if its contructive i'll take it onboard.

Further more, i have never tried to force my opinions on another person in or away from this forum. As i mentioned before, I will comment on other styles of gameplay freely... because i can... and i would expect people to give me feedback also. With the absence of an Arcade, how else are you to improve?

Unfortunately, with Live, we have lag. Now my overall experience of people playing with Urien usually involve him staying at the back of the screen... random fireballs etc... no matter who is chosen to go against him. So, i do think that my original question to you is valid. Considering the fact that you're ranked quite highly, i guess i was just expecting something spectacular. I think it was my dissapointment that you read into. No matter. I will still play you in the future, and i will still use Hugo to do it. N8 made a valid point when he said that other Hugo users have managed to get around those tactics. Im sure i will have no trouble too, eventually.

I don't exactly remember our match, but with that much lag I, as well as urself I'm sure, can't play our best, so it had to result to me throwing projectiles and random tackles instead of putting more variety into it. But in no means did I lag tactics and take advantage. Most of the lag was my fault since before I had a pretty shitty internet connection. I just upgraded my internet earlier today, so next time we play hopefully it wont lag as much. Laters.

Lol. I find that if you play the same style all of the time you get found out a lot quicker, espeically by good players such as yourself. As you said it confused you so maybe this tactic worked :xeye: .

Seriously though, I'm just not good enough to maintain a complete rush-down Dudley yet. He can be a monster when you get in, but the amount of times you can go charging in and guess wrong (e.g. low parry instead of high parry ) and eat a super as a result means I tend not to be so cavalier all of the time.

That random Necro player who owned my ass 10-1. GGs, but PLEASE, vary it up a bit. YOu may have noticed that i was moving my Stick all over the screen at the char. select. That was because i was bored with playing against Necro. Even when im winning with Hugo, i dont stick to him like flies to shit, unless its a mirror match. I vary it.

This is why i get annoyed with those who only stick to Shotos, Urien or Chunners. There are only a few characters on this game. Why not make the most of them?

GGs to The Mullah, wow, that whole set of games felt like some kind of parry exhibition, even though I never managed to fully parry that fierce dragonpunch. You parry really well, so I had to try and mix up (in the end I tried to avoid doing that cross up jump kick since you started to parry it, but sometimes I´ll just do them out of reaction, wich I got punished for =) ), enjoyed those games alot.
If you wonder about the taunt in the end, I´m tired and need sleep so I thought that would be a nice ending (with the yawn lol).

About the back FP after her juggle. It has SICK priority (and it´s even sicker that you can cancel it to a SAII afterwards).
People often tries to do something after her juggle, thats why the back FP is good to use directly afterwards because it will overprioritise. Best thing to do is usally to block. But a dragonpunch kan overpriorites that move, but I think it all depends on the timing (I´v been nailed with a dp alot of times, trying to do that move on wakeup, but maybe I´v finally gotten the timing right :pleased: ).

i do have another router, but until my sister , who pays for the internet, moves out, i cant use it or she cant use the internet from her laptop in her bedroom. I have tried to set up my pc so both routers can be used but i lack the technical knowledge to do it, if you know how then let me know.

I´m bad at punishing hard sweeps, think I tried to connect a c.mk but didn´t succed. Don´t know if I can connect a pure SAII directly after you´v done a sweep?
Why I don´t use SAII after I´v blocked your SAIII is more logical though =) A throw is the only guaranted move after a blocked SAIII, don´t know how many times people nailed me with a ex dp directly after the SAIII when I tried to do SAII. The ex dp just comes out really fast.

Pepper224 - Great Games. I really enjoy our mirror matches... its like playing chess, but more enjoyable. There are a couple of pointers i could give you to improve your game with Hugo... ... but im not gonna :badboy: If i impart any knowledge you may just win our next first-to-ten and i cant have that...

Only joking. You gotta get the distance right for Hugos Jumps. The Super Jump doesnt really go much further than the normal one and it leaves you vulnerable when you land, for a split second. Try to use it only on deep cross ups. :tup:
