TheStreetman, thank you for the games though I am sorry and cannot remember them. Were they tonight? If so I would like to ask how the connection was for you? In the past days, I get bad connections, maybe 1/2 second delays. Some games start okay but get worse each rematch.

Anybody have this problem too? Thank you.

Yeah GG's as well. I'm trying to think if your the person who's brother was an akuma player, and I double perfected to get an A++ grade. If that was your bro that was priceless XD.

And gg's to you too kneel. It was getting laggy and I couldn't work my Alex skills. And that Yang vs Akuma match was one strange ass match XD. I'm still working on doing the QCF+P motion 5 times fast with EX. But nice games nonetheless :tup: .

gg's chemistren - never had a good connection even in cvs2 but i wish we did, you look like someone fun to play. we both sucked at teching throws with the lag.

Spent almost the whole day playin today… days off are unfadable. I haven't posted in awhile so if I played you within the last couple of weeks: good games.

Evil E8… sorry about stopping in the middle of our match a couple of days ago. Had to get the door and bounce with my girl. I have the most fun playing against you bro.

Respect double Z… don't sweat it, this game's not a priority; I never get bothered by drops anyway. I know we had a good set and we'll get down again next time.

Belphegor… what's your gametag? I'm just an average player at best bro; pay no attention to rank, I've just played too many games. I'm sure we had a good sess.

Chemistren82… nice set, solid connection, trading wins. Don't hesitate to fight me again man.

G–Product… that Twelve is coming along nicely.

Dream Theatre… good set. I drool over our matches.

Boshidoboriqua… think you were the first set I played against. If we ended our games with me hopping into your necro taunt for the kill, that was some fun shit boriqua. Lo hacemos otra vez.

I know I played good sets with about a dozen or so people today so if I didn't name you it's just because after hours of playing, my mind just blurs all the players together.

GGs Dcept, GameZoneXtreme, Singho, Demon Grim, Bug 2003, and Jesus Chrysler. Lukesballs and I were taking turns on some of you guys today, so if you played against any Akuma, Ibuki, or Sean, that was him...Singho, we have an unusually good connection for you being in England. I always try to play against fifty6K or RJDX, and I can't because the lag in Miami is so horrible against CA for some reason, but yours and Demon Grim's are better than his!

Its like ok...the flying HK two hit has to be parried...and then you do some lk\p mk chains into an overhead. If i block standing up and try to attack...i get thrown. If i try to parry one of the attacks i get hit with somthing else. :mad: Really Really tricky player you are with her. Never seen anyone use her as effectively as you do...shes just too much >_<;;; :mad:

Singho, the problem I have against people are those that wait for me to land and decide to try and low forward me out of the air and possibly Super me afterwards, or take a slight step back when I am jumping up and down to cross you up, and press back + any button to basically anti-air me. It's not easy to do, but it happens to me.

More good games to JesusChrysler. I see PTO 453 waiting for opponents. Since he pulls on everyone, please spam his games. Thanks!

I'm not a 3rd player, i just play it for fun since it's out for xbox, so do not expect something really good from me. Also this game is mad simple [lacks of moves], i usually play SC2 that is more technical and leave more option to u on defensive and offensive side and has so fuckin big ass movelists. 2D is old but still fun to play but i think 3D is way better.
So watch out for the same move again and again if that move kill ya again and again. :rofl:

At the beginning I was gonna quit early cos I wasnt keen on the lag, but for some reason the connection became very tolerable :confused: I'm from the UK so connection-wise it was quite good.

Sorry if you thought there were too many. I didn't really realise :confused: . I have an aggressive style with most characters (inc Urien) but that style clearly doesn't cut it all the time. I was just trying to mix it up a little and give myself some space for the next barrage.

Most games it's easy enough to parry, but if it's lagging more than usual why not just block?

Aghhh! Which one did you buy? If it's s*$t take it back whilst you can. I play with a lightly modded X-Arcade. A bit expensive I know, but i was desperate to reminisce in the good ol 2D glory days. I hear the offical Anniversary stick is pretty good. I think there's a good thread on this forum somewhere too.

Dcept- Dude..I put 100% of my scrub skill in those matches. :karate: Remy gave me the most headache next to Makoto. She dash and grab so fast it was crazy. That Oro Vs Oro match were the highlight matches..I tried to use up all his meter for the gigantic ball super but miserably failed. :sad:

Anyway if Alex only connects one hit of the down+fierce shoulder he can juggle the opponent with the knee grab special. Pretty easy to do with practice, and allows him to keep up pressure while building meter. Didn't help me that much against you though :wasted:

I can do all the specials and zone pretty good on it, I still find it hard to combo into super, easily done in practice but takes a little bit more to do in a fight. I was playing cvs2 offline on it yesterday, kneel I cant express to you in words how much my ken improved in that game, I cant combo into super but everything else comes out atleast twice as quick as I could ever do it on pad. Dude start using that £500 stick you got hand carved by naked women in Hong Kong.

I use my stick every now and again Bass, but hardly ever when playing online. Youre playing good considering youve only spent a few weeks playing on it, I see what you mean about speed, some of those DP's were coming out lightning fast. :karate: GGs earlier :tup:

Yeah, me too mate. Over the last few days I've had far more games affected by noticeable lag than usual. Oddly, it seems to get better the more I rematch the same person. :tdown:

Exactly what I have experienced! I started playing early in the morning - from 7 a.m. and there are more US players at that time on live as European players - and always the connection says bad - but I chalenge and the connection is good. Maybe we should experiment more - especialy in that whacky hours. :karate:

GGs Goldengunman. Sorry if my choosing Ken repeatedly for the last 6 or so matches got boring for you. I don't play Ken that much anymore and needed to get some practice in with him and trying to parry more. I really had to adjust my style of play to try and contain you. Especially your Ryu, what a nightmare!

The Dudley match was cool. Up for more Dudley mirrors too. Nice one fella!

Speaking of which i have a question to ask you Name got taken, that Rocket Uppercut combo you were doing, were you doing Standing Hk into mk duck under into Rocket Uppercut? It was a pretty nice combo that I haven't seen any other Dudley player use before.

Martin Jones was kind enough to show me a couple the other day. Now if I remember correctly...(Try it, not sure if it works...)

Ex Machine Gun, Ex Machine Gun, hcb + lk cancel into Rocket Uppercut. It's a meter eater for sure. Maybe you can replace the second Ex with a standard mp MGB?

You can't connect two EX MGB's together unfortunatley. If you use Rocket Uppercut, a good combo is EX MGB, take one stpe forawrd, liver blow (toward+mk), late HP Jet Upper, cancel into the Rocket Uppercut for like 20 hits. Against Ken in the corner, you can connect i think 4 jab MGB's off an EX MGB for real showmanship, but the timing is tricky.

You CAN connect two EX MGB's. The second EX MGB motion needs to be input just as Dudley begins the last uppecut from the first EX MGB. I know that part works as we were messing around with it the other day. It's the hcb + lk that I'm not sure about.

i'm looking for fun games....i would rather play someone good and lose a ton of games than winning over beginners all the time.

I stand corrected :clap: But i suppose it scales the damage down a lot. With the short swing blow (hcb +K), try this combo against everyone's favorite Hp abusing ho, Chun Li:

* You need to do this so the MGB pushes Chun to the corner *
Jump in HK, Back + HK, EX. Machine Gun Blow, Down + Roundhouse x 3, short swing blow (mk), Rocket Uppercut / Corkscrew Blow.

Actually I think you can bounce Chun 5 or 6 times with the down + roundhouse, but this is flashier, if you can manage all that timing. From now on I'll keep all the Dudley talk to the 3S section of the site to stop pissing everyone else off.

Hi eddieman, not played you for a bit we need to hook up and have a few more games mate see how your dudley is coming along.

As for dudley and his combos, you can do say;

EX MGB, LP MGB, LP MGB, LK Short Swing (LK+HCB) and cancel into rocket uppercut.

There are loads of possibilities, you just have to know that you can juggle six times, so for instance;

Jump in HK or HP, Then Standing HK, EX MGB (this is worth 1 as it launches the charachter up), EX MGB (the second one is worth 2 of the 6 as the hits separate), LP MGB (the last hit only should connect so they are launched again) LP MGB (last hit to connect only again) and MK Short Swing then cancel into Super art 1 or 3. Does alot of damage and looks real cool.

Against opponents such as Chun-Li or Dudley ( not sure who else this works against ) you can do use Down and HK more than once, good for damage and charging the super meter.

Hey there Martin. We managed to get in a few games tonight. I haven't managed to get any real practice in with Dudley yet but I WILL try some of the moves you and Goldengunman gave me. I play way too much 3S at the moment. I'm trying to balance playin this game with having some sort of home life! Difficult I'm sure a you will agree :sad:

BTW your Urien can be extremely tough. If I make a mistake and let you get your combos off it's maximum damage juggle city! I recommend you seek out "Grahf Swe" for a real challenge with Urien. It'll be one hell of a match! :karate:

Our connection is pretty near perfect so there is no need to worry about cheap tactics or anything. If anything works on me, its because Im not stopping it, there would be no excuses! :tup:

demon grim - considering you live in england, the connection was really shit. i find you hard to beat. great execution + constant jump ins etc are tough to deal with online.

edit: the connection thing is probably my fault, my sister just got back from holiday and is probalby sapping bandwidth with her laptop

gg's manteau - couldn't face your turtling since my connection is shit at the moment. i don't mind losing but if lag is getting in my way its frustrating. play you later

gg's jazzt - dont normally use anyone besides shotos but i didn't think you'd stick around if i didn't mix it up a little.

Yeah no kidden lol, it's hard to parry metallic spheres in the air. Plus it like dropped us two times. Good games hopefully next time will be better :tup: .
