Yea, I played three matches against ken b this weekend. The first 2 weren't very laggy. I beat him twice easily, then I guess he decided to start downloading or something to lag it up....or maybe it happened thru no fault of his own..

I second that. The first six matches that I played I had 4 droppers. The lag was virtually non-existant and they dropped the second my last hit connected to win the match. I can understand if you want to drop because of "supposed" lag, but dont do it the second you are about to get owned.

Dropping is when you disconnect from XBL after someone beats you (usually on the last hit of KO), not when someone leaves at the Rematch/Quit screen. So quit your whining :tup:

1 - If someone did care about their rank, and faced 10 droppers in the space on an hour, then thats 10 losses, when each of the droppers get 1 loss. Times that by the sheer number of people on live then you'll have some idea of how some people feel when they get pulled on.

3 - Not every one that gets beat or drops is a noob. I can think of at least 3 SS and a couple of B-S ranks who are pretty crap and are now fearing thier standings with all the new players on 3s now. If a lower ranked person beats them then thats great. Let them boast.

Well it is faster for me. Win or lose you gonna get dropped on. You really shouldn't care so much about stats. If you beat me you still get the win in a mental sense. You shouldn't derive satisfaction from numbers.

just because you think it is ok to drop doesn't make it so. Since you know 98% of people get pissed off at being dropped on, the fact you go and do it rehardless makes you an arsehole. To save yourself literally a few seconds, you're just going to piss whoever you play against off.

I think that dropping out of frustration is more respectable than what you're proposing. Playing a set with someone and them dropping after a few lossess is fine, i know they got pissed off. But it's the players who drop everytime, it's premeditated, they probably dont even get stressed, they just have so much pride they can't take the loss. It sounds to me like you're making a get out clause by dropping every match because you can't take a loss. The difference in speed is so minimal your reasoning behind it all doesn't apply.

I could tell he was a pretty stuck up player as soon as he was thinkin bout leavin after beating me the second time (it's not like he totally destroyed my Ibuki...well outside of the first round). He had a lot of wins under his belt and a decent Hugo for online any ways (nothing grand though...random jump to 360/720=t00 scrubby) and the connetion we had was really nice too. Which made it easy for me to figure out his game after a couple fights.
