He had an incredible Dudley and amazing parrying skills. 5-4 to him and he goes and picks Gill just out of the blue. Fucking lame man, you're better than that. i usually prefer go on live past 12am when everybody is usually sleeping so i wont be interrupted.
so yeah, usually if i think its going to drop i get on the mic and warn the other person, most of the time though nobody has their mic on so..

There is a teeny weeny problem using the Saturn control on a XBOX console because all of the buttons are configured more easily than the standard XBOX controller. It's alot easier to do complicated moves with the Saturn or the Arcade stick instead of the normal controller. Everything is at your finger tips. Plain and Simple. I beat this joker with Hugo, Yang and Yun. You are right about one thing. When the player can properly use Twelve, he or she can be very annoying. He only became an SS because he uses a saturn controller to play his matches and he also had bad lag as well. If you people have any sense in your heads, this guy's twelve totally SUCKS!! When you learn how to play the game in the arcade on a stick, switching to a pad where the buttons are rearranged is like trying to drive an old on-the-column hoopty. Nothing is where it's supposed to be and it throws your game off having to adjust. Spending money on a stick isn't ridiculous for people that have already acclimated themselves to one. Having learned the game on a pad is fine for you but backwards for others.

I also played this guy Ryu1234 last night and I can say he is a great player. There is no way out of his Akuma even when I used Yun's SA3 on him. He can parry as well and we had no lag problems at all. This guy is pretty friendly on the mic as well and he plays fair. No throwing or any other cheap moves either. I read what Serge Howard said about him a couple of pages ago and I have to disagree with you. He does deserve his SS because he plays like it's no tomorrow. Don't deny his abilities because he is good. Anyways, I know this is the BG forum but good games to you, Ryu1234. Adios amigo!!:smile::tup:

LegendKilla - not being rude - but throwing on landing is one of the most common things in 3s, online AND offline. In fact, doing something OTHER than a throw on your or your opponents landing is actually a surprise. For example, if you manage to pull off an sa as soon as you land, 9 out of 10 times you'll get a player like me who just itches to throw all the time. Thats even one of my Ragind Demon setups that rarely misses - do it as soon as I land next to the opponent. To further the point, about 70% of my game is throwing, but no one has ever complained, and most people beat me anyway.

But anyways, I think my matches against marvin XII last night should have a mention in this thread. I dont know the dude, neither have I spoken to him (no mic), but he is annoying. I mean, he WILL pick twelve and whatever sa, but why the fuck does he leave the cursor over them and just wait for the timer to finish?? Not to mention taunting after a win. I tolerated that crap for almost 5 sets against him. Then last night I beat him with my Hugo and Sean of all players!! I predicted almost everything he did and parried it, threw him a bazillion times more than he could throw me, and had the pleasure of watching him select his character as soon as the screen came up :rofl: Even when he resorted to truly cheap tactix like that crazy priority air hk (the one where his legs turn into a cone), and took off tons of my energy just using that, he still lost - to Sean.

His twelve is crap, so anyone who thinks otherwise - just play someone like Parryall or DarkTien who are genuinely good players that know a thing or two about playing twelve properly.

marvin xii isn't too bad, he kicked my ass a lot the first few matches but once you catch on to his attack patterns he's a lot easier to fight. i dont think you should totally dismiss him just because he abuses certain moves, like the jumping HK(?) as part of his corner trap. as long as you stay away from him he'll try to use the EX needles or try to air dash at you which is easy to punish, just dont let him get you in the corner. and hes actually a cool guy, he put me on his friends list and was very friendly the whole time. he didnt talk shit like some people mentioned earlier *shrugs*

I am mainly playing cvs2 these days, I put on 3s the other day after a friend left (cause I was playing him offline), Every match I played online seemed to be lag ridden. I tried playing around 5 differnt peeps and every game was laggy so I quit after the first match against each person. Dude I dont have any prob no matter who you use or how much you use them, I for example am a TT ken whore. Dude chill out and stop jumoing to conclutions you will only make yourself mad.

i love how you can just tell when they are going to drop...when i first stared playing the game, i just thought the connection became laggy, and i would stop attacking too, then all over the sudden i get the drop...you would think they are bright enough to sit alittle closer to the system so they don't have to walk back and forth all the time...

He probably thought that I was an easy picking (with my 0 wins 0 losses record) hence, proceeded to taunt with his Ryu whenever he'd score a knockdown on me. He lost the match however & then dropped. The very first match I engaged in online the player dropped. So if you fight & beat WILL725, expect him to pull the plug.

not sure if i can go back to guilty gear... i tried a couple of times and i just couldnt take the lag anymore. its cool when its the only thing you know, but sfac just runs so much more smoothly that it makes anything thats less seem unappealing.. at least to me anyway.

Bunko Kanazawa: This guy has a spamming problem and desperate to get back at me with that intentional laggy connection. Anytime I try to medium kick into a super, the game would pause everytime when I do a medium kick that would throw me off and the game would get heavy on my side when I win a match or a round. I got lucky for beating him and I really don't care about him dropping on me twice a while back. The funny part is that he moved much faster in lag than I did. Sorry, I can't challenge a person who would turn the modem off and on.
