To import, or not to import...

I've been waiting for this game since it was announced. I've only played SF3 once, and it seemed really cool. Being the fighting game fan that I am, I can't wait to play this game. I was planning to import it after hearing about the W-code, but now, with all this talk about the BSOD and the recall concerning the Hugo music bug, I'm wondering: should I import this? I'm kind of still wanting to, because I don't want to wait until February, but I want to be able to play as bug-free of a game as possible.

Your thoughts, please.

the hugo music bug, is only on the original soundtrack, which is off by default, they probably are going to patch the BSOD. So your best bet is to order now from lik-sang.com or wait till feburary, they could still take out the w-code/free region when the game comes back next month, because capcom has not made a comment on it.

If you HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW, do what I did and get the ps2 version and trade that in when you get the Xbox version. I wanted to import this too but I'm having too much fun with DOAU.

Am I correct in assuming that my xbox does NOT have to be modded in any way to play the import?

im having a hard time deciding if i should import. i feel like im forced to wait because of the uncertainty with the recall yet us players seem to be flooding live with the imports.

wait till february... wtf for capcom!? everyone else already has it!

Oh well,

I just ordered a copy yesterday (from ncsx.com) and it should be here saturday. The recall doesn't bother me. I just want to start practicing now so I can hopefully be up to speed by the time it officially drops in the U.S.
