Well, I've heard Mr. Darksydephil has been talking some smack lately because he beat me online, Old Dhalsim vs. Blanka...on some serious lag. hahaha, on bad lag, Blanka can jump in at will (no skill) and Old dhalsim can really do nothing about it, because off lag, reaction is needed to counter Blanka's jump-ins.

Anyway, I don't need to get into details, because I know every single match-up inside and out with Dhalsim and there's nothing I haven't seen that I can't beat.

I just find it funny that now DarksydePhil thinks he can "hang" with my dhalsim. There are only a few players I fear and you are definitely not one of them. I fear lag, though. If crappy lag is the only way you can beat me, then great for you. But honestly, I don't even think you are on Justin's level. See, I don't rely on counter characters: I use dhalsim regardless and I've taken out characters that are supposed to beat Dhalsim hands down.

While I'm at it, I love when I use Gief, people love to pick Guile. Again, that's a tough match-up for Gief to begin but add lag and it's really really tough even against the most scrubby opponents (and I've seen a lot of them online)...

Honestly, unless you are an expert Guile player (along the lines of Watson, any known player), Guile really doesn't stand a chance against Turbo Gief. It's really not even close actually. That whole crouching forward, flash kick routine doesn't work and definitely jumping up and down with roundhouse won't work on Turbo Gief at all.

I'm probably complaining here and making excuses but I just wanted to drop some knowledge because you have cats like DSP getting a big head after winning an online match.

If you think you can take me offline, set something up. I know you're down for challenges...

But, really, you're not even on my level, not bragging, just the truth, fact.

Mad people went through this in cvs already. If anyone takes an online match serious they are a fucking scrub. Lag makes it a different game.

Edit...

Lag hurts ST more then it does cvs imo.

Shirts , I agree with you all the way, thats how you play the ol school sf ...lag really changed this game around but we all have to deal with it. few of my friends play this game as good as you and dream and so on ...but they wouldnt even consider playing this online your skill cant be utilized even the connection is good .....i was expecting you to get frustrated for sure. all the small details u mentioned on every match ups, my frieds were talking about that and yelling and getting frustrated when they played on my account the other day..lol...and ryu is suppose to be one of the toughest player to beat not by using stupid tactics like forward and throw or trying to fake u out with throw and then kick low like alot of scrubs on live..but with precision on every kick with precised timing which u cant do on live...kinda dissapointing but oh well.

anyways..i think you and dream and some of your boys live in LA area, one of my friends that played against dream the other day is a good friend of Jeff shaeffer and playd with him back in the days...he wanted me to invite you guys to play in real time and just hang out...we usually play at my office here in anaheim hills or maybe play over where you guys are at since you have a better set up with the arcade sticks....would be fun to play if its cool with you guys.

well hang in there with scrubs onlive lol...i just hold in my frustration and laugh it off ...lol its the best way or just talk grip of shit but they cant hear u lol...

I'm down to play offline; When Jeff came out of retirement about a few months ago (for only like a week, LOL), I played him and Gerald many matches--fun as heck.

Wow, so I'm guessing the import game works on US live...amazing.

Secondly, yeah, all these games are affected with lag, some worse than others. Old School SF NEEDS to have a fast response, I can't imagine THE footsies game with lag....
