I've played most of my capcom games on a controller throughout my years, but ever since xbox came out, I've done horrible. Sega Saturn's 6 button controller was a gamers dream, very similar to an arcade layout and a really nice D-pad at that. Now that im playing on this xbox s-controller, I feel as if I'm a Capcom sucker, meaning i'm really sucking.

Alot of players on LIVE say they use joystick because its closest to an arcade stick, but i've found this more difficult than the d-pad. I can't really fit a really decent arcade stick into my budget right now so what do I do? Any suggestions? Thx.

i still suggest buying a stick, youll get the feel later on

second option is buy a converter: that way you can play with your saturn pad on your xbox *magicbox has a port for saturn, dont know how good that is*

you can also just by any converter to ps2 and buy the sf pad, its REALLY kool, ive had it in my hands and it owns

Well, practicing at the arcade would help. If you go when most people are not there you can get a good amount of practice in.
My joysticks not the best but its alright, I mostly practice at the arcade, maybe when I get a new joystick, you can have my old one, and see if you can improve upon it. I know how it feels though, cause your not gonna get any better with controller.

I used to practice my customs and shit on controller, than go to my arcade when it opens at 10am. Know one would ever be there so I just practiced my ass off. My friend has F'ing japanese cabinet as his freakin house, I should know I helped him move the dame thing:sweat: Good thing there not that heavy.

Anyway hopes this helps.
