Modded xbox getting banned, even with chip off.

I didn't subscribe to Live until after I got my XBox modded. My XBox has a Xenium Ice modchip and a Western Digital 120GB hard drive. I registered with XBL late last night with my copy of the IMPORTED SFAC. I'm in XBL, I downloaded the latest patch that came with my copy of Halo 2. A couple matches in SFAC and nearly 3 hours on Halo 2 and I haven't been banned yet.

I highly doubt it.

The current state is that is you switched your HD, *AND* played with both HDs on Live, you're basically screwed. If you did that, your GT is tagged, and then they do further tests. It is currently unknown what tests are done, however.

The surefire way to get unbanned once you got banned is to

1- Get a new HD(any kind will work)
2- Get a new EEPROM
3- Get a new GT

Then you install the new HD, flash your EEPROM, then get your new GT, and you'll be fine.

My box is modded with aladin stealth chip,120GB,slayers EvoX installed,bootleg save download and still not banned.Yes I did go on live with my stock 10gb then upgraded with a 120GB.Importing SF:AC has NOTHING to do with getting banned from live you dumb piece of shit :rofl:

Damn, my XBOX just got banned from Live. I dont understand:

* I have not even played Halo 2 yet nor has it even touched my system
* I don't have an upgraded HD just the original
* I have disabled the modchip everytime I get on Live

that really sucks. post your issues on the xbox-scene -xbox live subforum. there's been a lot of banning going on lately that sometimes seem to follow a pattern(i.e hard drive swap after live subscription) or just turn out to be random.
i myself have an early version box with a flashed tsop with mod bios but also a chip that i use with the original bios to play on live. so in my case i turn on the chip to play on live. everything still works and i hope i don't get banned for any random BS myself. also i've had my upgraded hdd since i got live hah.
all in all i think they're not actually scanning the contents of your drive but just scnanning serials and checking for mismatches. a few people already bought a seperate xbox just for live play. SO everyone, watch your back!
