Mig is a totally different player in the arcade than console. Both of you guys should forget about it, that stuff is long gone and doesn't mean anything.

Something I don't like to see in my fellow players is COMPLACENCY. Sitting on past results and thinking you don't need to always improve all the time. You guys need to forget what you've accomplished and just keep playing. Honestly, I don't think ANY of us 3s players in BC are any good. Really. Everyone has so much they can improve upon in their game.

It's not that our players are bad players, we don't play the game enough really... Navid, you're good, for sure. We need to play against you more though. Get that guy at JZ fired somehow.

We don't particularily need more 3s players, it's just that the existing 3s'ers that truly like the game, need to play each other on a very regular basis and share strategies with each other. That way you get better at an accelerated rate.

HAHA I stepped out to go for a toke just before the SF3 tourney. When I got up I was ready to play! just to get the friendly atmosphere in the air.

The stereotype of weed smokers is "bad brats in highschool", but thats cuz they smoke weed so they can be labled as "bad". In truth, weed causes you to get your social defences down so you can be more social and talkative to strangers. Therefore strangers become friends. It's also a trip to watch others play.
Weed is a lot less toxic than smoking cigarettes, or drinking alchohal. (these are true facts)

Anyways I am still honest and innocent and would never cause trouble. Good games to all who was in the tourney! I learned a lot, had a blast. We should do these excuses for gatherings more often. MORE FREE CASUALS!

i didn't really keep track of anything, but i heard Tariq say that at one point he and i were even. i only lost once using Dudley though, and that's what i was really trying to keep an eye out for. my first loss was vs. Tariq's Ken (i was using Dudley). then i had an 8 win streak using Dudley which Chris ended. again, i lost to Ken. i used Ryu i think 3 times vs. Tariq and i lost those 3 times. i got another streak going later on (with Dudley) and i beat Tariq 2 more times. wish we coulda played more but he and Mazdak left to go play ST with Chris.

As for Rush, both myself and David (movieland player, was at the tourney) weren't able to do moves consistently on the near side cabinet (when you enter the arcade)... David couldn't do QCF motions and I missed about 75% of all uppercuts I attempted, and about 50% of my supers never came out... mostly facing towards the left... I had no problems on the other side though. I'm thinking some of that is unfamiliarity, but some of it is a bad stick. It has to be if the other side worked flawlessly.

i am NOT third best in canada in mvc2

right now, although everyone has left, i'm beating g3nn 5-0 in our race to ten, gerjay 5-0 in our race to ten, and jiggabry looks like he is not willing to drive 45 minutes to play me in a race to ten.

however, althoguh he DID beat me 3-1 first day in casuals, i was major sandbagging. i played him in 3 on 3 team tourney and i beat him quite well. i have watched him play and i am confident in about a 10-5 10-7ish victory AT WORST.

if g3nn comes back and plays i will most likely beat him 10-3 or 10-4 and same goes for gerjay, maybe a little less actually.

i lost to desmond 2-1, with a missed alpha counter into AHVB costing my loss (like at t3, but shit happens) and i lost to g3nn 2-1 cuz he fucking picks team row and RUNS away with magneto... lol like WHO THE HELL RUNS AWAY?!?!

i would rank gerjay 4th, g3nn and jiggabry relatively tied but i think jiggabry handles pressure CONSIDERABLY better and would beat the other two in a money match.

the buttons were TERRIBLE, sticks were alright, or i dunno what's worse. empire was having hueg problems and i was having worse cuzza my stupid middle finger. i was forced to use cable instead of storm cuz my fuckign air dashes weren't coming out. but i guess i have an awesome cable or something cuz i fucking DESTROYED people. and seemed to trade with executioner's cable, and his cable is FUCKING good.

i was the only canadian player to go 4-1, g3nn got it wrong when he said jonstar got 4 wins, HOWEVER, i SHOULD have lost to sanford kelly. i was winning by about 5/4 life for one character and he did cable's super but he missed the second one, like the second AHVB and i blocked for like 9 seconds and i won. the guy looked like he was gonna knock me out but i think i woulda caught his fist and bit it with my mouth cuz i'm ATM SPIDERTAO.

sadly though, since this fucking money match with jiggabry is probably NOT gonna fucking happen, i can't say i'm the best. sammang koy didn't fucking come either, so it looks like there's 3 players tied for first. jiggabry says he can beat sammang now though, so hmmmm maybe there's 2. but if i had chris F's fucking sticks at this tourney, i'd fucking BUS it for 3 hours to race to ten with him, cuz i TRULY believe i will not lose.

the only reason g3nn played so well with me is because the guy DIDN"T stop playing casuals, he isn't scared of me. however, he played like fucking SHIT against everyone else. it was fucking STUPID lol. that guy is SERIOUSLY fucking good, but he panics ilke a retard hahahahaha. i think he shoulda taken jiggabry, he was up 1-0 and randomly pressed 2 buttons of equal strength TWICE so he fucking switched TWICE. fucking moron lolol.


as far as third strike goes, i was doing FUCKIGN AWESOME first day, didn't miss any hit confirms and was just playing great. and then i learned that i was playing SCRUBS. came back day two, played like shit and got RAPED by the good players. HOWEVER, even if i was playing at my best, i woulda gotten SMOKED. i beat some guy who was using oro and then he switched to necro and i'm like "hell yeah, i just played max's necro, that guy's got the best necro". and i was FUCKING WRONG. this guy DESTROYED me. ALL their characters were HELLA better than ours. not so much the yun, ken's and chuns but the fucking ALL other characters. navid might have won some games vs chuns, their chuns were alright, but i didn't play any of their top players, but all their other fucking guys were nuts. i just stopped playing, they were all hella good. canada WON the fucking 5 on 5 third strike like 13-5 or something. and fucking, c-royd used sean hahahaha. we also won the fucking third strike singles as well. it looks like toronto is bomb

cvs2, i fucking MADE it on the 5 on 5 team. given, i WAS the weakest on the 5 on 5, but there wasn't any other cvs2 canadian non empire player that was better than me. i had to beat out 2 players, gerjay and arcade kid for the spot. gerjay i beat 2-0 and arcadekid beat me 2-1. so we went again and i won 2-0 and 2-0 respectively. for 3 on 3 team tourney, we came fucking third. THIRD. we beat fucking empire's arturo/justin/ricky team. for some reason, the unified force for me, jonstar and tigerlee fucking, beat them out. R2 blanka fucking WAS SAVAGE!!!!! but they're better than we are for sure lol but i guess cuz we all played so differently, they had a hard time adapting or something. the 5 on 5, i got DESTROYED, like DESTROYED. but i was the only guy to beat ricky O hahahahaha, he was fuckign PISSED cuz i am a scrub LOL or i play like a scrub... fucking tao style, jump over activate hahahahaha. yeah, i beat the best guy there LOLOL which i know was a fluke but still i am bombsauce. it looks like for cvs2, we're not as good as we had hoped and i KNEW that i sucked but surprisingly i did quite well, although they are utter MONSTERS (like the top players).


the controllers were fine for third strike and cvs2 but for marvel, they SUCKED. i fucking beat xecutioner and matrix for money TWO sets for each cuz they sucked so bad on the gay jap sticks which i had time to adjust to. X had to fucking use team scrub to take me out on a rematch, i dunno how the fuck he even activated fly, i missed about 3/4 flies and air dashes there, and THOSE COST GAMES


TFGM (leader of empire) tried to say shit like "TOP players dont' blame the controllers and adapt, and tried to make his players NOT blame the sticks. but i was watching AND i was playing. they are TERRIBLE!

the only guy who didnt' miss shit was g3nn cuz he played there all the time. and jiggabry looked like he wasn't missing shit, that's pretty good. i had to slow down my play and not rush down to like win matches and well fuck, i won matches.
