I found this band with a catchy song. I then download their album and found it really catchy. Band is an electronic band called Lo-fi fnk. Then I hear this song called "Steppin' Out". Lyrics sounded abit fishy. I searched this band or group on google... I then search it "lo-fi fnk gay".... lo and behold, it's a band that supports gayness. I haven't posted about this whole Tariq vs. Navid situation because I wasn't there, but I just wanna say that there shouldn't be so much hate towards Navid. The guy is one of the nicest guys I've ever met in person and he's got a great sense of humour and is insanely talented in gaming. Tariq is also a ridiculously nice person and I've heard nothing but praise and encouragement from both of these guys. I know that I'm new to the scene and I don't know the past conflicts and problems but from what I see the community is involved in a schism. And I don't know if there are secret gatherings or not because I haven't been invited or have been informed but I've come to realize that there is at least an ounce of truth in everything posted in this thread. From what I gather from Tariq during our trips to ML is that he and Navid have been friends for a long time and are age-old rivals in 3S and other fighting games. To have this friendship broken up by such a stupid and frivolous feud that was most likely driven by pot is in my opinion asinine. I don't want to get all Dr. Phil here and I certainly do not want to get involved in a possible conflict that you guys may or may not have but seriously, from a gaming standpoint, I don't want to have secret gatherings and tournaments. You guys are both insanely friendly and cooperative and I don't want to break this fantastic community apart by some quarrel between two OG's. Everybody has really been nice since I met everybody in November and I think that you guys should work something out before it really gets out of hand.

Since we're on the topic of fighting experience:

I did some counting and I was engaged in about 10 fights in my grade 11 year alone, of which I only attended for 3 months before I was expelled. I hope nobody is going like "Lol 10, what a joke that's nothing" in their heads because I think that's a lot lol!

Weapons that were involved in some of the gang scrims of which I either initiated or was summoned to: machetes, stools, switchblades, pipes, baseball bats, golf clubs, hand axes, wrenches, cue sticks, beer bottles etccc. I've also been jumped about half a dozen times in my life time. All of my highschool friends will remember the time when a dozen "Big Circle" thugs were chasing me with assorted weapons as I narrowly hopped onto my friend's pickup and sped off. Of course, they will also remember when these guys came back again the next week and got me for good. Another good experience was the time at Cariboo High in New Westminster. 40 or so golf clubs and machetes were hacking and slashing for almost half an hour before the cops came. I'm a fucking survivor, kkthx? And the point I'm making is that none of these fights had anything to do with unplugging PS2s. I rarely initiate fights, it's mostly sticking up for somebody else. (Which is also retarded, but in my azn blood unfortunately)

There was one time where I had to fight a close friend because he was being a complete ass. It was at the old Aberdeen's bowling alley. The fight didn't go very far because when I slammed his face into the wall and I saw him bleeding like that, I realized that by winning the fight, I was the big loser.

I dunno why Navid things we hate you or anything. I don't hate neither of you. I for one enjoy Tariq's company. Tao has heard me many times ask "Is Tariq coming?" I'd give an "awwww" when I find out you don't come. I also don't think I'm a better player than you. I'm trying to be a better Urien player, but overall, I suck compared to Tariq with his execution and all.

I hope you guys don't end up real enemies. Alot of hurtful words are being thrown around. The fact that Tariq saw Navid in his dreams subliminally meant that he want the friendship back. I had a similar dream about a friend who became my enemy, who later on became my friend again.

The truth of the matter is, and probably nobody will admit to it, when the whole thing happened, a lot of us disliked you. Me, Tariq, and someone else who i wont name, are the most guilty of disliking you.

I had a long talk with Tariq, and he was begging me to say i'm sorry for the good of the scene. Well, I did. Then I realized it was Tariq being a fuckoff again. Me and you started to talk again, and I realized you're a lot more logical of a person than I had noticed before. Right now, I don't have any emotions towards you.
