to the ppl who are interested in hearing, here goes:

i'll keep it short, basically my gf's ex still likes her after he cheated on her 2 years ago. there were a couple of times where he would stand infront of my gf's house for FOUR days just to try to get her back.

a few days ago her ex stood in the rain and got very serious pneumonia. it becomes so serious that it's matter of life and death now. he has stopped breathing for a couple of times, and each time he is pushed into the emergency room to help him breath again, he gets a lot weaker. after my ex's friends see this, they all tell her to go back to him because they can't bear to see him torture himself for all these times. he also has some mental problems which the doctor suggested him to see a psychiatrist

so i made the decision to break up with her. i don't want to feel guilty for being selfish. because he needs her a lot more than i do now

yesterday I went to movieland and I was hit confirming chun's back fierce fireball into super about 80% of the time.. I dunno the movement and timing just finally clicked for me.

Problem now is I want to learn how to do the hit confirm for cr.mk -> super... I think I do the motion so fast I dont give myself a chance to confirm anything :s

Are you supposed to just do one fireball kick and if it hits do another fireball kick? or are you supposed to buffer the both fireballs and only hit kick the 2nd time if the first one connects?

miken: the timing is exactly the same for crouching medium kick, but for some reason, i also have a much easier time doing the backfierce. you just press the kick, and then you do the super motion as IF you're gonna combo him, so it's super fast. only thing is, you don't press the second kick for the super to come out until AFTER you see that it lands. the timing is super gay and basically, you've got like half a second AFTER doing the motion to press the kick, and it will still combo. it's very deceptive so just practice doing the kick into super COMBO, and then after you're at 100%, stop pressing the second kick but doing the motion. and then look for a hit, confirm it and press another kick to make it a hit confirm!

i have a tattoo. they explained that the amount of pain depends on where you get it. i know a girl who got it on her lower back around the waist, where there's generally a bit more fatty tissue, and she said it still hurt a bit (but she's a chick, i dunno). i got mine on my upper back, under my neck, where there are alot more nerves and not much fat around the skin.. . it hurt but it was bearable. and it's not like they go straight at you for an hour. they let up every few seconds so you dont pass out :) and also what hurts the most is the outline of the tattoo. when they fill it in with color, the inking needle doesn't dig into your skin as much.

o and also depending on where you get it, it might be irritating to sleep or whatever because u have to leave the bandage on for a few days.

First, Yeah Tao your right about the artist being perfect at it.....but at the same time its a little too perfect.

Its kinda sketchy due to the fact that I used to be a photoshop 7 whore, and there is a way to make pictures look like tatoos if you filter it right, i tested a few, and it was next to impossible to tell if it was really a tatoo or not..so I kinda doubt that tatoo at the same time, but meh, i'll never know.

Yeah I saw that at lesters, when you used Tao, it took a while for neil to beat ya. Sentinel is my issue right now, hes good and such but for some reason its hard for me to use him, but pyslocke is just a free kill at a certain point....storms assist (not too sure) isnt that good so yeah. I used to watch the cartoon series of X-men, and I loved Cable in there.

I ended up reading a TON of marvel lore yesterday, I only knew of 2 Omega Mutants, I didn't know Marvel Girl was one :S. It seems all the elemental based type mutants are considered omega. Marvel Girl or Phoenix are considered the strongest psychic or telepathic beings.

The funniest thing I read was that The Hulk was the one to weaken Onslaught. Apperently Savage Hulk punched a astroid ( or meteor) twice the size of earth and shattered it completely lol. The Hulk rules.

I also realized I am not at the point where i can do backfierce fireball -> super during regular matches - only against the compauter at this point... I realized it is very hard for me to even hit him with the back fierce in general and alsothat I rarely add the fireball during regular matches.

I guess it just comes down to timing and reversals.

I guess I did better than last time which is all I wanted...

His anger is what defines his strength. As Grey Hulk, he lost all of his humanity, and his anger just continued to grow.. thats why he became so powerful during the onslaught series, i believe.

I've seen him rip mountains out of the ground and hurl them across oceans and stuff. He's pretty nutty powerful, but he CAN be stopped easily. That's why he's not considered to be that big of a threat compared to other mutants.

The annoying part about the whole marvel universe, is that characters change so frequently that everyone, at one point, ends up being really really really godlike aside from the celestials, omegas, and humans superpower guys (spider-man, daredevil). Deadpool is a good example...that guy was human, then was part of the Weapon-X program, got powerful...and keeps getting more and more powerful? like what? he cant die? hmmmm.

Iceman and Phoenix are the only 2 omegas that I knew of off the top of my head, also, I didn't know mister sinister was such a huge part of marvel as well.

Grey Hulk is a weaker version of the Green Hulk. When he is grey, he is able to think more as a human and can control himself better, although he is much weaker than the savage Green Hulk. It's rumoured that the next Hulk movie to be released will be the Grey Hulk, because with the ability to think like a human, it will be more interesting to adapt some sort of love story in it.

Anyway, Marvel characters are great, but they don't hold a finger to DC Characters as they seem to be somewhat Godly.

When Superman first came out, there was no Kryptonite as a weakness, so he could literally just walk up to ANY VILLAIN and own him. He was too Godly of a superhero so they had to create a weakness that originates from his home land.

Like I read comics of Superman beating Juggernaught and Hulk. It seems that Superman, when prepared, can take and absorb any hit given to him. He parries the motherfucker. Lol.

Y uses blue Urien and he's good. He's really good at predicting your next move, let alone parrying. Mark's getting good with Ryu. I played Miguel the other day and it went about 50/50, but I felt in some way I held the upper hand, like as if I went into rage mode earlier than usual.

Actually there are 2 versions of grey hulk.

The first one is his debut where hes lost self control. That version is arguably the strongest. The one you guys are talking about is a smaller toned down version of Hulk and at that time, Bruce Banner was running around calling himself Mr.Fixit and acting as a mercenary.

Something to think about: Basic hulk when he first morphs has class 100 strength. When hes extra mad, you can imagine how much damage he can do :P Hes far from UNIMPORTANT. Hes just able to control himself really well for the past little bit hahaha.

I don't recommend anyone learning to play ST on Turbo 3. T2 is perfect to start with, you get the fundamentals down easier, and there's no frame-skipping, animation-wise. T3 is good once you have all your timings down, though.

Personally I prefer speed 2 quite heavily over 3. I'll stop by Lester's if people are going to show up. Will this be during the hockey game?
