btw - the way I beat Y was in one match - I parried and punsihed him right at the end and in the other match - I hit confirmed a cr.mk into a super when I saw that he parried it :) both definitive 2 to 0 round matches...

Well don't be just yet. I still need to talk to Triforce and get things set in motion but as it stands we are looking to do the west cost Canadian championships in Edmonton.

While I was down in Toronto I was talking with gerjay and Jiggabra and i was telling them what i had planned with Justin and Sabin. And they seemed really interested in coming down for the tournament. the only problem is funding. so I sold them on the idea of me finding them housing to actually cut the cost of the trip.

I also talked Dog berry into possibly coming down with Bry and Gerjay if in fact they do come.

Now for the west cost Canadian championships I'm looking into renting out a hall for the weekend and copy catting the way t8 was run. Getting a large list of games make sure i got my games/consoles/tv's in check then setting corse for a mascive tournament.

The reason I want to do this in a hall is because I finally found the other forums where i could get incontact with the "real" ggxx players o the west cost (RTL) and try to get them to come down and have that game there as well as getting in contact with false falco from the smash scene who form my understanding is hosting a big number of 64 smashers in edmonton alone and almost guarantied that we'd get more than double that for smash at this event.

for games like melty blood and all that shit. I honestly don't know what to do. if the game can get 16 players then sure we'll run it but i leaning towards a fuck no.

Tekken from my understanding has a tiny ass scene in Alberta no more than 8 players who can actually play. But when counting Bc and Winnipeg we're looking more along the lines of at least 22 this si all in theory i mean things could go horridably wrong and i could end up with a "ten man tournament" but i really doubt thats going to happen.

No For the scene i Winnipeg they actually are decent number wise. They get 16+ people for their weekly ranbats which is ok for a city that you'd think doesn't have shit. When i was in peg town i got to meet sane dave nyo tin and all the other "good" 3s players from there and they are all intrested in coming. their competive and they want to come down and play.. so thats one city down.

Sask, i mena sonic will come down but is buddy idk lol. He's kind of a flaker. I have found a few people form Regina but again i dont know if they will acctually come on down.

For calgary. well lets not kid our selfs here they are always coming down for any larg scale tournaments. bkb genasis virus and all them other cats will come. im petty sure of that.

out there in bc I havent the foggest idea. the pot will for sur ebe fucking big. and with the east cost 3s and marvel playes wanting to come downn (i sure also mention raito1beatdown wants to come) and the empire. it should be more than a challenge.

Now a nice little surprise has come along my way and thats the help and support of preppy who is really interested in coming down to this event as well. he did mention when i talked to him that 'd bring a few players. so even though its not part of canada it'd be great to have Seattle players come down.

It might be a bit of a streach but if w get the right kind of hype we can expect more players from the west to come. and if we have the empire coming down to our tournament. its not entirely out of the question to take into the accoutn of a certan high profile cvs2 player to come own.

but do keep in mind i need to talk with triforce about this. but the date for the tournament (which im not going to say just yet) was asked spacificaly by justin him self and arturo so it should be 60/40 in our favor of them coming.

any how its way to early to be getting into this big video game babble specially since im not even sapose to be talking about this just yet.

Anniversary Collection is pretty cheap in video game stores... good luck finding a PS2 copy though... my experience is that the X-Box copy is a lot easier to find than the PS2 copy... so if you have access to an Xbox I'd just do that, cause the Am. stick is compatible with an Xbox too.

Y is undoubtedly good. I can vouch for that. He parries well and does it very differently from anyone else I've ever played. He beat me the first two games I ever played him, because I under estimated his skill. Then I did streak him with Alex afterwards. But I still think he's very good. The only reason why Tao and I can streak him is because he doesn't like to play patient and he hates turtling (which are the only two ways to beat top players imo).
