Cause we need more 3s tourneys here. Rush, Movie, JZ all have good players. Nobody really wants a CVS2 or Marvel tourney, so that's why there haven't been any 'tourneys' here since the term is understood to mean 'all games have tourneys on this tourney day'. Which isn't a good idea anymore. Casual play is gonna look pretty random dude. Why put casual on illusionsofoasis? Nobody wants to see that. They want some drama.

I can think of 20+ players who still take 3s seriously and there are many new people who are picking the game up, I can attest to this. Let's have some serious tourneys in 3s for MONEY. Nobody here can say they'll win it for sure, because 3s I think at least 6 different people could win it. So if it's for money, EVERYONE will try to win it. The gap in skill in the 3s players here is small. There are more 3s players in BC than there were for SFA2 and that game was quite popular at Lester's. People would try to learn obscure characters to have a better chance to win money.

Yo I put up the Mig and Tariq challenge. Tariq won 10-3 right? Cause that's what i have up. I wanna see more challenges. I watched some more of the vids they ain't that bad but seriously Tariq u waste meter too much and Mig u are being way too predictable and non-threatening with dudley.

EDIT2: Mig ur confusing. You have times when u play great and use ur brain and other times where u just do shit for the hell of it. I noticed midscreen u dont have a plan to be honest bro. You just do random shit. You need to develop a midscreen plan. In the corner, you do well at times, and you need to take that shit and put it in midscreen.

EDIT3: Tariq ur kinda the same u have moments where u play really well but dude...u have HUGE problem with wasting aegis. You throw it out and waste it for nothing. Also, MIG, when Urien has got u in the corner with the Aegis near u not ON TOP OF U, block HIGH and react to LOW, not block LOW and react to HIGH because he can keep hurtin u with his overhead, but if he hits u low, u may get knocked down which is GOOD cause u waste the Aegis more. Also, if you wanna do something OFFENSIVE, you use the c. forward to trip Urien UNDER THE AEGIS. The move is pretty useless but it has it's specific uses.

I remember a few years back, there were hardly any sites with footage of console warriors. Everything was arcade. Trust me man, it's wasting meter. The only time you can really afford to throw it out like that is in the corner. But you do it midscreen and if you want I can give you examples from your vids where 90% of the time your Aegis leads to no damage. Or maybe 10% from an over head or something. And saying I watch too many Jap matches is not an insult. I respect them cause they are efficient and strive to do damage, not throw stuff out randomly. i spent $15 :lol:. i had a little streak myself, and i beat Alvin the most today, so woo to the hoo for me :clap:. but that's still not saying much. Alvin went for a 30 win streak when Navid and Sal left. damn he's beast.

Chris, you are getting better man. you just have to really be more consistent with the links. you land several c. strongs against all the people you play, but out of say 10, only 4 go into Shippu. but your throw games are getting better as well. oh. and do do straight up Shoryukens for anti-air. do what Alvin does. far s. fierce, s. strong, s. strong (parried) -> fierce Shoryuken, s. strong (parried) -> throw, etc. Ken has a ton of anti-air options.

i also noticed that when it's towards the end of our gaming sessions, you tend to play me better. early on, i usually beast, but when we're almost out, it's like you turn all serious :lol:. you should be in that "mode" all the time.

nothing to say about Alvin's game. he's beast :amazed:.

mig:i couldnt access any of the data on the black memory card thats most likely where you saved your victories, i only posted what was on the blue memory card which contained 22 matches or so u played in about 19 of them you shouldnt really bitch about not having any victory matches posted.
