All right, this topic may look like weird and useless, but the thing is, I'm getting tired of people telling me lame excuses like desynch and stuff like that. ^^

In order to avoid these things, we could always use the same emulator version.

I think default emus could be:
1. MAME32K 0.64 (Feb)
2. Kawaks 1.50
3. Nebula 2.24

Well, these ones are just MY choice, but what do you think about them? I'd recommend MAME 0.64 just because I noticed it is the most used one.

I think that depends since with kawaks me and group of people have diferent version and dstync BS dosen't happen. Plus the reason why would that ocur is because of the conection u have or the server itself.

cracked mame .64 is pretty much the standard
the only reason ppl use kawaks is if their machines cant support mame well enough, as kawaks runs good on shitty machines, but runs shitty on good machines. *shrug*
theres nothing really that kawaks has that a cracked mame doesnt...

Well yeah but I have always felt Mame weird compared to FBA, Nebula , Neo Rage and Kawaks because when I input some comands like doing qcf,hcb A or C it dosen't come out at the rigth time. maybe is just me that got so used to the other emus that I feel Mame a bit lagy when u inputs comands.( I am not talking only online playing even offline I feel the samething)

Same here, my favourite is kawaks.

I find that on pretty much on every server in the US people use mame0.64, while in europe kawaks is alot more popular.

Also in latin amercia people use more kawaks. I know a good reason why a lot of people moved was because the new feutures and suport for new roms and also that the kawaks macro BS was depresin and cheap to say.

cracked mame has all the newer games... you need .67 to play 2k3 though, but concidering the popularity of that, whatever.

And built in macros and annoying nature of many kawaks supporters made me very suspicious... but that doesnt make it exclusive to kawaks...

Btw, Nebula seems quite dead right now...
