So explain this to me, MSF.. If you do an uppercut with Sagat and you try to throw him with a regular air throw, you can't do it but when you do it with vegas air super it hits? NO MATTER WHAT. Even though the throw is not in the start up invincibility frames?

The answer is, it IS possible to throw sagat out of his uppercut in between his hits. But with vega air super no effort is required. Just like if you do a normal air throw on blanka ball it is extremely hard, and air throw with the super is extremely easy (which you did on me.) No timing what so ever or skill is required. So, It doesn't really make sense why you would brag about it :wow: and therefore proving your point wrong how super air throws have the same priority as normal air throwsOooOOoo :clap:

My friend and I have made a site www.illusionsofoasis.com It is a Canadian Street Fighter site that plans to unite the 10 major Canadian SF regions. The site design is done for the most part so what we are doing now is advertising it in hopes that we can attract as many players from each of the 10 regions as possible. More info on the larger scope of the site can be found in our statement, which is on the main page. I encourage everyone to join as the Canadian SF scene is not very united and this could be a good chance for everyone to come together. So far, I thank Justin (aka Nagata Lock II) for agreeing to help with communication among the Greater Toronto Area (GTA SF). If anybody else from any of the respective regions would like to help us, here is what we are basically in need of at the moment.

1) business people to help with the future services and business aspect of the site
2) advertising people to help promote the site in their respective regions
3) website caretakers to update the site as well as admins for the forums
4) content providers, which includes but is not limited to match videos, pictures, custom videos/tutorials, articles, and news

If you are not interested in being part of the team, then we would appreciate if you could agree to join the players league. An example of Eric (aka JS Master) shows what questions must be answered. Pretty good tourny Justin. As all ways, the hospitality of you and your parents was great.

The good:
- Blunt sesions
- The hayvren assist ("hey js, can you do that? No, cause you suck")
- Random jokes moments
- Burgers
- Beating marvin 7-4 in our smoking game, with a fantastic gutter shot. Best smoker in GTASF! Now to challenge montreal for best smoker on the east coast
- almost loosing to marvin (who has a beastly cammy and iceman) after i paused the game mid match (i was going to ocv him when i paused it, i wanted to taunt). I was gonna loose the third game, but came back with sent with like 10 seconds left.

The bad:
- No party to go to afterwards
- Crappy mass sticks
- Some how getting snaked outa the CFE tourny ("you weren't here during sign ups" wasn't really a good answer, considering every one else that wasn't there got signed up)
- played pretty crappy, considering how well i was playing the whole week leading up to the tourny.

Over all though, I had a good time, and i'll gladly reach to NLD4. Once agin, thanks a lot Justin.

If I wanted to do a decent job with DVD distribution I'd have taped top 8 and put every tourney on hold so I could get all the footage. If anyone wants a copy that's fine by me but otherwise I'll put together the DVD for myself and life will go on.

Yeah I practiced Roll Cancels... for 1/2 hour... and failed miserably. What does that have to do with how rusty I am? I'm pretty sure I made it clear in the first post that I only play when I'm playing people. I play Noodleman maybe once in two weeks. HAHAHA! OK the first post is laughable. The bottom line is I EARNED my ranking. Despite all your protests of being better than me, YOU DON'T RANK DICK ALL IN TOURNIES! I earned my ranks. I'm the guy getting 3 - 5 in every tourney and I seed myself 3 - 5 as a result. Below are 2 games I recommend. I'll list pros and cons of each

Disgaea:
I actually got bored of this game and will probably never get around to beating it. But I still recommend it.

+ NO RANDOM ENCOUNTERS
+ Relatively deep gameplay compared to those stupid FF games
+ Slightly interesting demon world
+/- Comedic story
+/- You can level till the end of time. But it's kind of pointless since you can adjust monster difficulty levels. You can beat the game without crazy leveling
- Dated graphics

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
Yes this game is English and a literal translation would be "New Goddess Reincarnation." You've probably never heard of it but it is one of the most popular RPG series in Japan (next to FF). None of the Megaten games were brought over due to their story premise and high religious/mythological overtones. It's somehow rated M for mature which is odd for a RPG

+ Deep story
+ interesting post apocalypse setting
+ interesting monsters/allies that you can recruit or fuse
+ It's actually challenging, even on normal mode (I could beat FFX blind-folded)
+ Relatively deep gameplay compared to FF games
+ Original puzzles that are challenging (try the arcade kid game for a good brain teaser)
- Some really annoying and unforgivable level/puzzles
- RANDOM ENCOUNTERS!!! You get the item/skill to reduce/increase random encounter early on. But it's still annoying (for me anyways)
- Good graphics but it's like standing next to an exploding glowing Skittles factory and it hurt my eyes a little
- No voices

IMO FF games suck. The only positive thing I have to say about them are their graphics and the fantasy setting. I actually bought FFX and FFVIII at EB because my friends had convinced me that they are worth it but now I regret it. What the hell do people see in these FF games? The gameplay is laughably simple, the random encounters are annoying as hell. I have next to no control over how characters progress. The stories are no better than the average anime.

I don't know about Disgaea. I heard it's pretty much like Phantom Brave which I was interested in for a bit(but 16 or so hours into it) then it just kind of fell off. Plus Disgaea is really rare in stores so scratch that out too. I like more of the traditional RPGs better also.
