I'm living in a loft studio apartment in downtown Philadelphia w/ a roommate. The place is very spacious & luxurious.

Tekken 5 is my new mission. My Asuka has so manny combos that I've mastered, but I still haven't beaten the game and have only beaten about 7 out of 16 players.

Played some T5 the other day before the arcade closed and Asuka seems pretty beastly. Christy hasn't changed much at all, which is kind of disappointing - I could jump in on T5 and play at the same level as I was in T4.

Anyways don't have to worry bout that shit for a month or so.

'Agent Smith' is perhaps the COOLEST bad guy of any movie series (and yet, the actor that plays him has a first name of "Hugo").

The fight and car chase scenes are definitely top tier also.

i hate min requirements, if i can make my case in 9.5 pages why should it fail just because i don't reach the 10 page requirement

i feel like if I BS for 1/2 a page I bring the overall quality of the paper down

She was happy to see me (& not her sister). She told me all about her trip to California, showed me some pics she took on L. A. & Long Beach. She looked so gorgeous in that hot pink two-piece bikini she asked me to design for her last year, but I never thought I'd actually see her in it!

I had to leave the escalade for a moment, 'cause that missile in my pants was about to reach DEFCON 1 (i.e. Launch Sequence).

I went to chinatown to get my roommate a nice christmas gift. There's this jade dragon holding a crystal ball that I figured she would like. According to the store owner, its supposed to bring good luck.

It's 9:46. Last Tuesday and Wednesday I manage to finish my final painting for Tues painting class and we had a critique. And I halfway finished my 8 pannel piece and touch up my art pieces for my Principle of Illustration class. The two critiqes went okay. I checked my grade online and I got a strait B for PI class.

I should be working on my sketch for my last piece for Inking class but I wasted time playing a bingo game from Shockwave, talking to my mom on IM and reading threads here. Damn SRK. :wonder: Oh well.

Rochick: In a way you could loose locks/dreads manually depending on how long you have them in. ) My mom have locks now and when she first had them it looked like regular twist. But after 6-8 months it locked in. Looks nice now.

( Base from my mom's research for locks and her exprience.)It also depends on the skill of the hair stylist. A person who specilises in locks should study your hair texture/courseness and how healthy it is and how the dreads are "locking in". Depending of the texture of your hair certain places of your hair would lock faster than other parts. ( Infact my mom had a lot of trouble with starting her dreads. They had to cut off a lot of her hair since it was damaged so she nearly bald, and on the top of her head and in certain spots the hair texture was softer than on the back of her head and in certain spots.)

ROKCHIK: My braids aren't like the ones that Ricky Williams had before he cut them off. Mine braids are way shorter and only been in about 7 weeks.

I've done this before, so it is possible. It just takes a lot of time (sometimes a whole day).

anubis...i DID have it when episode 1 came out, then one of my friends broke it T_T. it was dope though bcuz me and my friends would do 2 on one duals and theyd have green sabers and id hve the double bladed one, i pwned them had. ive been trying to get a double bladed one for ages but they like 50 bucks, and what not. but i assure you(if you have played kotor) a single blade is 10 times better than a double blade or dual wielding for that matter. bcuz with one sabe you have more dex to hit and block, while with 2 its more offensive but less defensive, and with the douyble bladed less hit acuracy overall...so yeah...

Its 9:58 pm est. I'm @ University Pinball playing against a guy that many consider a "shark". He heard a lot about me in the last few months.

So far, we are evenly matched in games. He even said, "Wow, you're pretty good!".

Coming from him, its a pretty good compliment, because I've seen him play & if someone can beat him, he's got to be GOOD.

Everyone seems to like the way my hair looks now (after two LIITs, my scalp feels better). I just have to keep it up every few weeks from now on.

I have tickets for tomorrow's Cowboys v. Eagles football game. I hope to see my Cowboys win, but seeing how the Eagles DESTROYED them the last time, I'm very uncertain of a victory. Anyways, I have my favorite Cowboys jacket (that I bought in Tijuana, Mx) out of mothballs & ready for wear once again.

What is going on w/ the Bucs? They were the team to fear two years ago when Jon Gruden was bought from Oakland. Now, since a whole lot of theirplayers went free agent in the off-season, the team doesn't seem to have that momentum it used to.

Getting Charlie Garner from Oakland should have helped. Problem is he got injured in the beginning of the season & is out for the year.

I doubt they miss Sapp. He hasn't done much in the last three season w/ the Bucs & isn't doing anything w/ Oakland (definitely, the most overrated athlete in football).

Its still as cold as an iceberg outside. Plus a little foggy. I'm watching the NFL highlights on ESPN right now. I can't believe Dallas won't be in the playoffs. Not only that, but Peyton Manning is only 1 TD away from tying Dan Marino's record for most TDs in a single season. Seeing how Baltimore doesn't allow that many passing TDs, I think he was lucky to get 1.

Well, maybe next year Dallas will be back in the playoffs, and next week P. Manning will break the record. For now, I'm just happy they all played a good game.

I use Gouki against Gill in 3s. I'm about 40% victorious on that game when going against Gill.

Gill is just so unpredictable & strong. It makes no sense how two good hits can take so much power.

The day I finaly wished came soon. December 20th. :clap: After a long 2 critiques for Inking and History of Illustration I'm finally done with thoes class. My last inking project, which I've started inking yesterday,lastnight, and today clocked in at 14 hours and I only had 2 in a half hours of sleep. I woke up around seven o'clock.

My inking portfolio interview started at 9:20. I got out the door at 9:17, had to go back to my room to get another piece, got at the school at 9:33. I was jittery fearing she would denied my interview since it's suppose to end at 9:30. I was afreaid of being denied of my interview and get a low grade, but because of the cold ( BTW it's FREEZING here in NYC) and the subways royalling screwing up-And to think that the MTA wants to raise the fares- :lame: She thought I was a commuter student- My dorm is only 1 1/2 block away. :wgrin:


I really liked my inking class, I've learned a lot of things like steel tips, crow quills, radiographs, brush work, and sumi-e. I wished my professor would get into colored inks but after she explained to me why she denied us using colored inks I understand now. ( But she said I can use them now since she know's I've learned the skill of inking.) Maybe I'll upload my pics here, or maybe I can get an account from deviantart or photobucket,( I heard that place is art thief central.) Or post it on my fuiture web page. ( BTW Does anyone knows any info about free web-site host ie: Geocities?)

Right now I'm about to loose up my hair. It's in twist in the back and cornrolls in the front. The last time I loosed hair I clocked in for 10 hours, including breaks. And I have to start working on my granadma's portrait for her birthday.

I heard the MTA in NYC were raising their fares. Here in Philly, our public transportation system is called SEPTA (South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority). They also are going up on their rates - to $3 in March (its going to be the nation's highest)! :-(

I got my hair done at 7:55. Origianlly I came in the store around 4 ish. But there was 3 ppl getting singles and there was only 3 ppl working despite being one of the busiest times of the year when it comes to haircare. So after my brader got finished with the other girl she started me at 5:30 ish.

I got cornrolls this time. Microbraids starting at the front, a parting design shaped like a wave on the left side of my head going all the way into straight, medium small cornrolls with no scalp showing all the way to the back with a straight braidd style while the ends were unbraided and dumped into hot water creating a wet and wavy look. If I wasn't pressed on time I would have gotten a new cornroll style, but I went with the usuall doo. But they sure did a excellent job with the condition my hair was in, the relaxer in the back of my hair is gone while there some left on the ends in the front, adding to that my hair is naturally course and thick.

I took the subway to get back to my dorm. Now I have to clean my room, sort my clothes for the trip, and try to start on my grandma's picture.
It still doesnt want to end. :bluu:

Ps: I tried Pocky for the firs time on Monday just to see what's all the hype about it coming from some anime forums, fanatics, and japanophiles. My inking teacher gave me a few pieces which came from a flat red box colored Marlborow(sp?) box red with the POCKY in bold white with the Pockies illustraited in the front.

Had two pieces, it's nothing special, it taste like a soft gramcracker with dark chocolate that's doesnt have a lot of sugar in it. But it's a nice snack.

I had my hair also done in cornrows. I asked for micros going straight from the front to the back.

Instead of letting my braid tips be straightened & hang long, I had it tied in a little knot in the back. This way its hard to unravel, so soon.

My hair is naturally thin & nappy, so the "hair-nazi" had a great time torturing me last friday.

It must have took about two hours to do.

Its 8:54 pm est. I am having a great time ~ my roommate's parents house. I'm used to having duck for christmas, but goose is just as wonderful to eat.

My roommate's sister loved the dress I made her. I thought at first it was just a little tight, but it shows every curve there is to see. So I'm not changing anything since she likes it.

Her father showed me pictures of when she was a baby. My roommate sure did cry a lot (and still does). She has 7 sisters & 2 brothers, yet none of them are spoiled like her. Hmmm...

The best part was I got to kiss my roommate's sister underneath the mistletoe. Her boyfriend had to leave early and she insisted. It was only a little kiss anyways.

My roommate tried to object at first, but she let it alone after a minute. I never knew her sister was a good kisser. Even more, I never knew my roommate would get upset, if any of her sisters even talked to me.

Talk about "cockblocking"! Just what is going on inside that crazy head of hers!?

We were on I95 South and there was extreamly heavy traffic. Traffic was at a standstill, it was so long that people started getting out of the cars and kids started playing on the highway. :lol: Me and my brother decided to walk down the road to see what was going on, there was miles and miles of cars down the road, we went back to the car and just chilled out. Eventually the cars started moving and when my mom cut on the car it wouldnt start, the battery was dead. We were on the right lane.

Mom called 911 and some guy helped us roll the car off the road. Then some cop came and gave us a boost. He made my brother get out the car, I was kinda worried, he doesnt know that much about cars and I didnt want him to get electricuted or something. Went to Wall-Mart and got a new battery. At least it wasnt the other part, uh, antidistributer or whatever the hell it's called. I think it starts the car or something.

Now I'm just hanging around my grandma's house. Earlier My two youngest cousins, both six, were staying at the house. I dont know if Charleston has something in the water or something but One wont stop talking, eating, or asking for stuff and the other one is annoying and wont shut up. The 'Talker' left with his mom but he's coming back tommorow. The annoying one is still here. At least I only have to deal with one instead of two.

My grandma is kinda buisy so for some reason they always be around me all the time like they're my mommy or something. And my my brother hasn't help me the whole time!:bluu: I mean, I like kids and all but I wish they were babies. At least they didnt talk, move, or do anything. The just babble something cute and crawl. But they're not evil, they just do stupid things. But sometime's they're sweet. :pleased:

Oh well, at least they're maturing when they get older, I hope. Or throw them in a closet until they reach 13. :badboy:

I didnt get a chance to work on my grandma's portrait for the party. :sad: But my mom said it was alright. I guess I'll do something for grandma next year or make an marriage anniversary portrait for my grandparents.

Its 11:27 pm est. The dinner @ my roommate's parents house was great. We all had a good time and things were absolutely swell.

I just came back home where I'm now watching the "Matrix" trilogy for the 1,000,001th time.

My roommate went out w/ some friends. I'm still wondering about the A & F clothes I found hidden in a bag (Please, don't let them be for me!).

Other than that, I want everybody to have a happy holiday. Please remember - DON'T DRINK & DRIVE!

Its 4:00 am est. I'm @ home having a little christmas w/ some friends of my roommate. All is going well so far.

My roommate got me a platinum 'heart' pennant. I'm starting why she got me that, but I'm not going to "look a gifted horse in the mouth".

Its 2:28 pm est. I just woke & have the worst hangover! I did make those drinks a little strong & now I'm paying for it.

A few of the other guests just called to let me know the same thing, but still we all had a great time.

They're asking if I will be throwing a New Year's Eve party. Right now, I'm leaning towards not doing it.
