Will MvC2 be online?

I hope so but if they lag is going to be like ggx reloaded I would rather not have it.I don't have a arcade in charlotte and playing the com. gets old fast if the can make 3S with no lag why not this game.Also sf vs x,m v c,msh vs sf dont lag that bad so why not this game.Does anyone have any info? :wonder:

Capcom was going to put in online play, but Marvel wanted them to add new characters to do it. Capcom didn't want to do any new code for it so they said forget online play. Capcom is ass.

It will be great If this would happen. MvsC2 has a lot of fans, doesn´t matter if is a old game, with the Xbox LIVE adition a lot of people will buy this game again; I think that a lower price for the relaunch will solve the problem.

No its not going to be online, and thank god. Lag would destroy that game. When i got xbl it was for marvel online, then they cancelled that shit, and i'm glad after playing these other games on live, i know it would be unplayable. Saved me some money there, if only i could of done the same for guilty gear trash x.

they CAN'T and DIDN't make 3s with no lag. (i'm just pissed 'cause i spent a grip on importing 3s and it's trash online. no, it's not my connection.)

i don't understand people's logic, because the online version isn't as good as playing in real life, noone should be able to have it?

MvC2 not being on xbl is probably the main reason we still even bother with silly DC's for tournaments, and why marvel as a game is very stale now. The community lost a lot more than you realize with MvC2 not being online, and IMO we gained a lot (not as much tho) from 3s and AE being online.

even if MVC2 was online...i don't think it would work. For one, the Xbox version would be like PS2, having some major changes (i don't know what they are). I remember that some of them have to do with Magneto and supers and etc and it wouldn't be the same as the arcade. People would just go like "DAMN THIS SUCKS!" Plus MVC2 requires so many fast inputs like ROM inf and you always have to press buttons as opposed to CVS2 where the button inputs are not as rapid or frequent (well depends on the player). Lag will probably mess up the air comboes or w/e. Besides...why would Capcom cater to the few and dedicated 2D gamers when there's money to be made off of DMC3 and VJ2 and RE4 etc?
