Playing with the ambiguity of those 2 buttons is annoyingly fun, though.

Yeah, but you can mix it up (rc/non-rc) and the risk/reward ratio is great (siding heavily on the reward factor).

And opponents will be reluctant to try and throw if they get hit by the electricity a couple of times beforehand.
After that, you can mix more shit up, like, getting a couple of your own throws in, also, and stuff.
So, counter-hit elect + potentially being ahead on the mental part of the game > getting throwns a couple of times.

I mean, the Japanese WHORE this move, but you don't see them get thrown that often by the other Japanese, it's just too damn risky.

Oh, and the dash-rc thing is an exaggeration on my part, I'm just gonna rc-elect much more often now than before.

Yeah, it was insanity. I was at the concert there and it was insanely packed. The Trews + Collective Soul = lots of people. A lot more compared to a couple of years ago when Snow was playing and nobody cared. It was really really muddy and I was getting pushed this way and that way but it was worth it though.

Not that its a big deal, but I'm pretty sure I got on TV a couple of times cause the camera was like right over my head a couple of times. I wish I brought a "Team Hammer WHAT?!?" sign with me...:lol:

The Casino was completely packed too but then again, it would probably be like that most weekends anyway...damn gambling addicts...:tup:

Haha, welcome to RC 101...where you think you can win by RC'in all your moves. Then you get peaced out wondering what happened. Then you learn when to rc and not to rc.

btw, ppl can throw you out of both RC and non-rc if you're just doing them at random. If you're talking about wake up, then yea, you can try to mix that up, but then either way, you get pushed out, then they can run away or something.

Hmm..we must be watching different matchs...i've been watching the latest batch with Daigo, bas mago, and the cast...(daigo was using honda/blanka/bison iirc)...there was alot of hibiki's as well.

From those matches, they whore cr.lk, rc electricity. The mix up they do is either whiff or meaty cr.lk, then...

See what i'm saying...it's sorta working on you already (i think). when i said cr.lk, rc electricity, you expect me to do that over and over. everytime you see cr.lk, you're going to try and do something to punish. I expect that, and do nothing and punish. now i'm free to mix you up everytime i hit cr.lk. am i rc'in? doing nothing? moving in for a jump in? I'm making you second guess. All off one cr.lk. no complex button presses to mix up, just one simple move. and it's not risky at all. When was the last time you see something punish cr.lk on purpose?

Just think, I wrote this long ass post, with so much mix up with cr.lk, isn't that much better than 50/50 mix up (that doesn't really put on any pressure)?

btw...alot of characters can punish rc electricity with supers..especially if you don't keep the thing going (ie, mash a couple of more times.) So you have to commit as soon as you knockdown.

Actually been fooling with Vice mostly and have stolen a thing or two from the one Jason Cole match vid I got. Going to York today to do the same thing really. Kinda just in a screwing around kinda mood or something just to see what BS might work...

York was fun a couple of days ago. Some CvS2 newbies saw me hit some Rock combos and were like 'ooo' and 'ah'. Then I hit the "Dragon Combo" and got a huge reaction. Gotta admit I love getting that type of stuff to feed my ego...:karate:

Dood, I felt like Darko so many times today. Everything that could have been done to someone, was done to me. Darko how do you handle the pressure of being a combo dummy? Is block really necessary when they land everything on you or me?

I'm just pissed that 2 of the 3 almost OCC matches with Rey, I could have won. The first time I land d.lk, d.lk, s.lp, d.mk xx mp Tiger Uppercut??? WTF??? So obviously with 2 to 4 pixels left I get smacked and match over. I start crying!!!

The second time, hurt just as much as the first. Sagat battles threw 2 people to get to Rock. And now I'm just trying to pick a spot or find a fuck up. What I suggest is that if you guys really care about getting the game you head over to the Estarburst forums and let Simon know in the thread that Darko set up that you want that game in there ASAP and that you don't care about Tekken 5 (because you don't, that's obvious). If you don't get your point across and sit on your hands you can't expect something to come of it. Just make your point clear but POLITE!

Darko; creating a thread called "HEY SIMON!" may well have been the worst idea I've ever seen to get someone's attention when you want something done. You could have taken just about any other route and it would have been better. Think these things through before you make moves like that.

Saying Brampton>Hamilton in MvC2 really isn't saying much. There hasn't been anything close to a competitive scene in Hamilton for MvC2 since they lost their machine when Lime Ridge closed. Rey and Vanny would give you guys some trouble though I think. Fear Rey's "ICE CREAM" trap for one thing and I remember how Vanny beat the crap out of this kid with Blackheart BS the one day we went to METRO :tup: Come to think of it, Darko and John have alright games in MvC2 as well but lack experience...

And actually, come to think of it, after Justin and Jason, who else does Brampton have that plays MvC2? At NGL, me and Steve(#3 Brampton?) made up the crappiest Marvel team in the history of the game so if you had a 5 on 5, I'd say its hard to say who would come out on top overall actually.

LEarning new stuff all the time though i am. #3 played a couple rounds of 3S for the first time in 3 weeks.. and wow.. after playing MArvel, ST, and Alpha 3 for 3 weeks straight.. boy do i suck even more than i did before. That and i find the game alot more stagnant and boring than it used to. I think i might just make the switch over to CVS2... but i've heard news that it's getting tossed for CFJ :sad: we'll see. i don't plan to be entering 3S at york this time.. but if i do.. it may be my last.
