I wouldn't mind doing friendly bets with any of you guys on DC controllers...it's the only type of controller i can play on. (10-15$ or a MEAL like the one I did with VEAS who beat me using only one hand at CVS2 on DC)

Even with Storm on a team, there's no point in having a hail DHC as a backup when you have the AHVB.

Guile, Shuma Gorath, forget about them. :D Unless the opponent is also picking non-top characters, they just encumber the team.

Doom IMO is pretty mid tier. Fits well with Strider or BH as an assist, but not really with anyone else, ESP the big 4. On point he's bleh against a lot of characters.

Yeah Cable first sucks....except maybe in team scrub he can be pretty usefull with Sent's drone assist especially against Magneto and Storm IMO a very good option(even if very risky if Mag gets the first hit) if u can actually control space well.

thx. advice well taken.(that was me using guile and doom btw, and picked shuma once by mistake). but really the truth is that everybody that played u the other day was trapped in the corner with loads of swords and rockets :xeye: so it didnt matter who they used. on a sidenote, john(i think that's him) basically destroyed my whole team with just doom himself with no assists

I saw ong-bak over a year ago in HK.. it was actually released originally in thailand probably 1-2 years ago.

It's better than any other martial arts movie because he uses muay thai moves not karate/TKD/kung-fu so it's different style. The actor is unique and does some pretty amazing stunts and I like the cast. I didn't understand the story much cause I didn't have english subtitles.

Let's just say for a movie that comes from a country like thailand It's very good. I'll take elbows, knees, and roundhouse kicks any day over the silly unrealistic girly kicks you see in your typical movies. You just view them in a different perspective once you actually trained in muay thai/kickboxing.

plus we made maybe 100-200$ on table stakes, so when MTLSF PokerTeam comes in we clean house biatch !!

I'll explain the 39 call.. and no it wasn't suited.

The blinds and ante was like 2500 chips total, my big blind was 1500. The guy raised all in for maybe 3500 total. So total pot was 6500. To call his all in I had to add 2000 chips. 2000/6500 is 30%.

So since I had to put in 30% of pot to call, I needed a 30% chance to win to make a good call. The guy was low stack and he was trying to steal. So I put him on High card low kicker (below 9), and I was right, he had K7. I had 39, a middle card and low kicker.

Now the face to face odds are 63% in his favour, therefore I had a 37% chance of beating him, I needed 30% to call so it was a good call.
