YES. It is coming out TODAY. Heroes World already told me they got them! So I am 100% sure they are in stores already!

As for sales, it is a relative thing. If you compare SF to X-Men, yeah, we are selling a fraction of their numbers. But in general, SF is doing OK. We are still in the top 100 and it pays our bills.

... it was a flash back scene of ryu training with Gotetsu and Retsu as a young pupil. Retsu was to spar with Ryu and a taste of the dark Hadou over took him and he started to pummel Retsu until Gotetsu had to pull Ryu off of him.

Yeah, and Geki gets royally pnwed in that. As for the rest of the SF1 crew - Gen, Adon, Sagat, Mike and Birdie are all in Alpha as well and have therefore all appeared. Retsu was also in a flashback (vs. baby Ryu). This leaves Lee (who is Yun and Yangs father in the comics so may appear in a flashback during the SF3 arc), Eagle and Joe. Can't see how they will bring Joe into it, though Eagle and Lee are possible. Any ideas on how theses characters should be introduced?

Oh, and I would just like to thank Ronin for bannin Black widow. I hope this means less useless posts and I might start posting more again. Cheers mate.

I meant Mike and M.Bison (boxer) being the same person. Apparently Capcom STILL haven't fully confirmed this (and I doubt they ever will for legal reasons), but they did recently confirm that M. Bison stands for Mike Bison so I think it is safe to assume that they are implying both boxers are one and the same.

Yes. As far as canon goes, he trained with Gouken in some form. Come to think about it, I doubt Gouken was his master as if I am not mistaken, Gouken told Ryu and Ken that he trained a student before (i.e. Dan), and didn't want to do it again because he was full of vengence, but made an exception for them.


Lee - Probally in SF3 right? if they are the kids dad


Only as a flashback in a backup or something. The comic implies that Lee is dead, so there may be a backup in the SF3 arc. Note also that Lee is only stated to be a relative of Yun and Yang, though it is widely accepted he is their father.


Eagle - Who is he and what is his backround?


Different stories on this. One says he is just a bouncer. The other says he is a secret agent working for the British intellegence. I don't know how they could bring Eagle in at the moment.


Joe - as in Higashi? :rock: lol ... what is his story?


Joe has no story. Very boring character. He was a bum that wanted to be seen as powerful. Nothing else about him. No tie-ins with other characters, nothing... I can't see him being put into the comic that easily (though I guess they managed with DeeJay who also has little/no story/connections).

I recon Udon should do a Final Fight suppliment issue if Capcom gives them the rights for it. If not, they should use the Final Fight characters in Alpha in at least one of the backups.
