Pre-Texas Showdown 5 Warmup Tournament

Place: Stargate Arcade, 5562 Gasmer

Start time: 8pm

Games: MvC2, CvS2, 3rd Strike

Format: Arcade, double elim, single game

Entry: Pay $5 at the door, entitles you to free play all night, all tournaments are free entry.

Prizes: Yes, there will be prizes at this tournament, winner of each tournament gets a Tx Showdown 5 T-shirt. Posters, tags, and other prizes are TBA.

Directions:
the address is 5562 Gasmer suite M

basically it's 610 loop, exit South Post Oak, go past 1st light which is Willowbend, and the 2nd stop light will be S. Willow.

take a right on S. Willow, keep going up the street until it begins to curve to the right a bit.(street changes to Gasmer at the curve) on the right you will see a small Hospital, and immediately after you pass the hospital you will see an entrance to a small warehouse complex with a small red sign reading "5562 Gasmer". turn right and continue down the alley to suite M.

the entrance is between the hospital and a small convenient store. if you go to chimney rock, you've past it.

That would require somebody to actually stop playing games and hold a camera. Anyhow, thanks to generous donations by SBO staff, and Showdown staff, we will have some prizes for this weekly.

Weekly will start roughly around 8-9pm and go on til its done, cause SG ain't got no curfew!

Yo Ranma, I've never been to the new stargate, I got a question about the start time. You said the warm-up for TS5 starts at 9 pm, but do you know roughly what time the arcade opens? I don't know if you open before 9 and the tournament starts at 9 or you just open the whole place at 9. Thanks 4 da info.
