I unfortunately had to do that tonight. I had played 4 matches in 3S with a guy, we each had won 2, but then my roommate came down so she could watch her show. (she watches tv once a week so I have to let her). If I did that to anyone and pissed them off I'm sorry. my live tag is freddor

I do it, and experience it as well. It happens. Being hungry for a rematch makes it that much more satisfying when you get another shot. Just send 'em a f-request after they leave, if their reason was legit they'll accept and you get what you want. Don't get so worked up.

If I play someone and it's laggy or I just plain think you're lame (could be any number of reasons) then I will promptly peace you out and move on (win or lose).

Man, I tried signing on and playing a few times, but usually there was nobody online and I promptly hit the road after waiting years and years to get a match. There was also NOBODY on my friend's list on EVER (except DarkTien, but he was always in a match) so I looked at it this way: Sit in the menu screen of SFAE orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr hop on 'nium and download bucketloads of porn. Of course you could see it was no dilemma, :bgrin:. I guess in a way it is raining vagina over here.

Now is a new day though so we should most definitely be able to get some games in. I've gotten enough porn for now (is that even possible?) and there's ample comp on SFAE. With T5 on the horizon though...

I think that we will probably start seeing less matches in sets due to the fact that there are many MANY more players online. I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to try my hand at as many different players as possible. As much as I liked playing some of my opponents last night, I wanted to hop off and see who else is in the queue to add some spice.

Smaller sets benefit everyone as the players will be able to experience different styles of play. Another thing to note is that the wait queue will be significantly higher this way, allowing for an easier time finding a match. While this might suck on paper, it's not that bad. When I created matches last night, I had a new opponent sign on to my match within a minute. It sure beats the 15 minute waits I was experiencing when I was running and gunning on the import.

Looking forward to deliver more Honda action later... ^_^

Good gosh, i'm lucky if I ever get a game on 3S. There usually says that there is 2 games available, then I can't get into them.

BTW, I'm a P-rank (I think) and i'm always up for a game/owning. I use a mic, so you'll know when I leave and for what reason.

Hey, sometimes when you get lucky like that, the OTHER person leaves. I beat this guy last night who I guess was ranked 3rd. His name was BeatenAlphaqup (I think). He played CE Sagat and I beat him in a close game with ST Cammy. He didn't drop, but he bolted after one game. In a way I was glad because I probably would've kept playing him and would've racked up a bunch of L's.

A: It is very laggy
B: something happens and I have to get off-line.

The real problem is people who drop as you land the finishing blow in a match. I hate those fuckers

Everytime I play, it's a very high rank player that will pwn the hell out of me. That's ok though, I take the beating 'cause the way I see it, that's the only way to get better. But if I do happen to get a real bad beating, I never leave....too soon.

ugh not kool happened again and this time i sent a friend request and he declined over and over. i guess he knew that the lucky win was nothing more than a fluke. i mean take the beating like a man\woman caue if i lose i won't run off like that i will fight till i break even or Adjust to stufff example chun lin and the keep away stuff.

but from now if some gets that luck win and runs off i will just mute them cause they aren't worth it....at the arcade if that happens you have no choice but to continue playing till somoene beats you down.

i wish 3rd strike online was more like doa U online with the arcade still setup of fighting a few people in a room and watching others matches.

he probably beat u then left bceause he thought u would be boring to play again. I know after 1 match i can sometimes estimate how the following matches will be so i quit.

ur logic makes it seem like, if i win i must rematch, if I lose i must rematch.

Snookaydcc has a point, but it's not always the way you put it. When me and my friends are playing and I use a charecter like Dudley or Alex(charecters I suck with) and they beat me, they usually want to brag, so yes I will pick my best charecter to see if they can beat me then.

I know some people drop because they know eventually their strategy will be completely unraveled. I may lose 9 times but eventually I figure out how to beat them and I can even predict when they are going to change their strategy, how they mix it up. I have yet to find someone who could still beat me after 11 losses. Sometimes I figure it out sooner. But most people don't have a strategy, it's mostly waiting for the other guy to screw up. You just gotta know how to off set them.

Honestly, this crap wouldn't be a problem if players could browse 1,3 and 5 round games.. But no, optimatch has to be specific. :tdown: I am up for 5 round games more often than 3 rounds but no one bothers to check anything but the default. :sad:
