Im about to sell my region free copy(unless it has some sort of value) and pick up a NSTC if there arent any issues with converters. I've been through 3 converters with the JP version, all not that good working with the game.

Why are you selling it? I thought the american SFA is identical with the japenese region free one?

I dunno. For some reason, my US copy of SF:AC HATES my converter, while my US copy of GGX2:#R loves it. It's really friggin' weird.

I have the game element converter and it doesn't work well. All inputs are delayed. Does anyone know of a converter that works or do I need to learn how to hack an xbox pad?

Something I bought from J&L in Chinatown. "The Innovation Connection". It's by no means a magic box, but it gets the job done for GGXX#R.

My game-elements converter has significant lag, so I ordered a dreambox I hear it works fine. Playing with controller sucks ass my thumb is in such pain! lol

My Freambox and Dragoncube are both not working well, for some odd reason. I'm about to try out a magic box.
Gah fuck. I just ordered a dreambox and now this.
edit: your stick has a oldschool digital or dualschock?

Yo it is the game itself. I had the import and tried both the magic box and walmart brand converter on SFAC and my non-dualshock sanwa stick will not work. So i thought it was the import game, so I got the US edition and it does the same damn thing. It works on every other Xbox game I've tried, so for some reason the problem is isolated to SFAC.
The magic box doesn't read it at all and the cheapo walmart one works with delay. So Saturn pad is all I have for now. I don't fully understand how the game could react this way, but it does. Reload, CvS2, DOA, etc all work fine with the same sticks/converters and no lag.
