so you are the one that dropped on me. dude, oro is only an average character at best. landing the chicken combo (the repeated juggles) is not easy to land at all on a competent player since the uppercut is a proximity move, requiring me to be very close. he relies on that combo, also, i did resets, so not all of it comboed, i gave you chances to escape in favor of me getting to do more stun if you failed.
howabout next time you actually take your loss like a man tho instead of just dropping like a sore loser...unless that wasnt you that i did that on, cuz i was doing that to someone tongith all round, and he dropped on the last hit. if that wasnt you, my apolgies
Personally, when I get owned I fight the guy until he gets tired of fighting me. It's neat to try to learn that stuff.
he probably kept jabbing you and launched you from the other side, it looked like an infinite but no... block the other way if oro jabs you =)
and with those stones: yea theyre pretty good, but its hard to get the launch in

sorry but no i havnt dropped on anyone. the kid i faught hit "rematch" and hit "quit"
i dont know how u do it sabre but the way this kid had me i was just bouncing horizontal to the floor, meaning my char. was staring at the sky. after watching it happen in round 1, i tried parrying in round 2 to see if i could get out of it but no, i coudlnt even get a punch motion to show.
and doom the guy juggled me, then in the middle of all that, summoned the rocks, then used the rocks to just fuck me all up without letting me land or recover once. :lame:

Hi
It seems you are new to the game, and just because someone does somthing you have never seen before with a character everyone thinks is shit...doesnt make it " :lame: "
The "chicken combo" is really quite hard to set up AND being on xbox live, extremley difficult to time correctly to keep the combo going.
Him cancelling into the Super Art Tengu Stones, is also pretty tricky to do, compared to the majority of super art links\cancels. First of all, the player must activate EX Tengu stone with 2 punch buttons and catch you on the way back down to try and juggle you. Prior to this the player will be trying to set you up so that your goin into the corner which would make the combo more devastating...its not easy to do by a long shot.
Also, as this is a fighting game, the whole purpose is not to give your opponenet a chance...so him not letting you recover or land shows that he pretty much dominated. You should put him in the good games thread.
Also, seeing a character like Oro do that to you, so early into your SF3 playing, is a good learning experience. You will now be more wary of him, and not think he is a stupid old character. :karate: In other words...FEAR THE ORO. :badboy:
Also, out of interest...who was you using? :)

I'm trying to learn this chicken dance as well.
Except, unless i connect the mp at a specific point, the second head-stomp (qcf+mk) will miss?
I've landed it a few times succesfully and mostly when i was in a sort of rythmn i remembered after listening to KneelB4me do the chicken dance on me, god knows he's landed it enough >_<
Also, whats the method for the reset? Is it lp to reset, dash then mp?

Only the first hit of the uppercut can land, you gotta cancel into the qcf+mk after the first hit.
I've been getting better at this combo recently, it's real tough timing it right.

No no. I mean after the 1st juggle, the second mp to keep the juggle going.

Well...comparing Oro to Ironman is the most randomist thing ive heard so far on this SF:AC board.
Just for your information matey, the combo can be broken out of pretty early, you have to parry a hit midair when he tries to reset the combo.
Also...Oro imo should do whatever he can to win, cos its a real hard character to win consecutively against say Ken players in general. Next thing you will say is that Twelve is lame\shit\cheap because someone beat you with him.
Learn the game a bit more mate, before you start calling all sorts of stuff lame. Also, anyone who can trap someone online with his SA2 unblockable...
Ironman? :)

The Oro chicken jump thingy is very easy to parry out of. Singho tries it on me at least once per match but usually won't land more than 3 cycles.
I remember the first time he did it, it was my first night on Live and I was thinking, "here we go, I bet I can only parry out of this!" - parried the following hit and all was good (still f'n lost as usual though)
As another poster stated - you're lucky he didn't throw something heavier at you.

its not an infinite and Its easy to avoid.
In the worst case scenario, where he gets you in the long combo and THEN does his rock super art, to extend the combo a very long time, it will do MASSIVE damage, but its not an infinite.
And then after he does it, his super meter is spent, and you can dominate him, and learn to be wary of getting in too close.
