We're having an x-box set-up but only for the cvs2 live(ppl who play live) tournament. There will be no actual x-box live matches going on and don't bring any x-boxes planning on playing at the event cuz all tvs are for tournament n casual for ps2. You are more than welcome to play in the hotel rooms but not at the event.

update on showdown. For those who care 3 japanese are coming kindevu last evo winner otaku best k groove player in japan and bas most known for his alpha customs and most likely if you play a-groove he came up with the cuztoms you use. Money matches will be filmed and put on the tx showdown dvds so even if you don't qualify for the top final 8-16 you have a chance at being recognized around the nation. Prizes given out (ts5 t-shirts, dog tags, posters, ect.) for those who qualify out of the round robin pools 8 pools total so good chance u get to qualify. Listr of top players youmight wanna see play and play against (john choi, ricky ortiz, buktooth, justin wong, X, ruin, eddie lee, alex navaro just to name a few.) Halo and smash bors. tournament right next door (one of the if not the biggest one in texas for those who polay halo or smash bros.) If you attended evo expect our final 8 set-up about the same with projectors and intros. For those who want to get known across the nation but don't think will qualify no problem we're having money matches being recorded and put on ts5 dvd so you can get known or put a name with the person who talks shit on the boards and really see how good their game is. If you really wanna get known not just for being a good or scrubby player but just appear on tv then here's your chance cuz it was just announced that MTV will be filming at the event and interviewing players. If you ever wanted to attend a huge tournament and play against the best then make it down to showdown. Check the tournament forums for hotel pricing and all the info you need. depends which ones you'll want but you can donate 50 bux right now for the japanese players and get the whole set 7+ disks i think for free. So it's like getting all of them for 50 instead of paying 10 per disk which is what last showdown cost i think. But if you want just one specific disk prices will be posted when i get them.

Wait, I'm confused. Is this cvs2 xbox tournament in addition to the normal cvs2 tournament? Or is the only cvs2 tournament going to be played on xboxes? If there is only one, I'm already signed up.

well I'm playing and I already signed up at the texas showdown website. But what I need 2 know is what games are being played on FRIDAY. I have 2 work friday but i'm off saturday and sunday.

Sorry no tournament will take place for xbl at the event you can have it at a hotel room but not during any tournament friday-sunday.
